Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Mineral Powder Foundation SPF 20 Review

I brought this recently as when I was pregnant I didn't feel like full face makeup anymore but still wanted something to fill down my redness and freckles. It is so easy to use, feels like nothing is on your face at all. Would highly recommend this for a light coverage or even as a powder on top of ur liquid foundation.

If you dont like the feeling of a liquid makeup or the application process of it then this is something you should try. The colours are great, I have really olive skin and often find foundations end up looking orange toned but not this product, its so natural looking and feeling, also a decent coverage and the product seems to last for months and months. A little goes a long way.

This powder was so easy to use on my mature skin (Age 51) and didn’t over-emphasise any fine lines. I get up at 4.40am some mornings for work and it was very quick to apply for a natural look. This is my new everyday powder as I don’t like a thick application of foundation.

I really liked this product. Great coverage and feels really nice on my skin but it ran out really quickly and as it is up there in price especially after buying the brush for $60 I can't justify spending that much money on something that didn't last me more than a month. But apart from that, great product! If I was rich I would buy it again! :)

This powder foundation has an incredible finish, a good range of shades, easy application, and the product lasts a long time (both on your skin and for a few months). Definitely worth the price, provides enough coverage to be worn on it's own, and its super breathable and non irritating.

I love this mineral powder foundation. I use it over a very light liquid foundation (similar to a tinted moisturiser), but it works well just on its own too. To use it, you just turn the container clockwise slightly and it will shave off some of the powder for you to apply. I find it gives me great coverage and even skin tone, while still looking lovely and natural. I am naturally very pale, so usually use the lightest tone, but go up a tone in summer to match to my more tanned skin. The powder comes with a puff to apply it, but I prefer to use a brush - I chose to purchase the specific brush that goes with this powder, which is shaped - I find that I use less powder with the brush and it looks more natural on. When I used the puff to apply it I found it was heavier. I also love that this has SPF in it - my face has never been sunburnt while using this. It's my favourite powder foundation and I would be reluctant to switch to use any other now.

I cannot recommend this foundation enough. It has the perfect (light) coverage and is so so easy to apply.

If I'm feeling lazy I can just grab a big brush and flap it onto my face without paying any attention and I'm instantly brighter and happier looking. When I have more time I still like to use a thick kabuki brush but can spend more time buffing individual areas which really does give a glowing flawless look.

This powder has that elusive super power of being able to hide imperfections, add just enough colour yet still let enough of your own skin through that you don't look plastered with makeup.

I was recommended this by the Elizabeth Arden lady in Farmers. I didn't really know what to expect being my first mineral foundation. I was pleasantly surprised.

I'm naturally very pale and managed to get away with the shade 2nd from the lightest. It applies well and is not too thick when applied over foundation. It also works well when applied over a BB cream and concealer.

I definitely like this product, and will most likely repurchase. I find it does what I need it to without feeling cakey.
