I have discoloured peeling, brittle nails that have become dependent on regular polish to look presentable. Enter nail rehab and my nails are greatly improved. In one coat (which dries pretty fast) I get a cures all sins all in one application of a treatment, strengthening and a sheer peachy milky pink wash which gives a nice shine and covers my yellowing. Also happy to say that once removed it seemed to have whitened my nails quite a bit and they were definitely stronger. My only gripe is the incredibly toxic aroma of this product it gives me a headache so I always apply outdoors! Also it does chip quite quickly but it's hardly noticeable. Great to apply before travelling for a minimal fuss free manicured look.

I used to be more about the fun colored polish till I realized the polish looked better on healthy, smooth, long feminine nails. So I started to invest in nail treatments and seeing the good reviews this one had I had to try it. This is has milky peachy, pink color to it. This is fantastic for muting out the pink giving a nice base for color. I've also discovered my nails are much stronger for using this. My sister who has chronically short nails with ragged, damaged tips tried this and saw how much it helped to strengthen her nails. In fact, kept using my bottle till it was mostly used up and the formula was too thick to continue using. Which prompted me to buy another bottle which she then proceeded to use. I liked this treatment so much I've gifted it to friends overseas and they were overjoyed to receive it because it worked to give them long, healthy nails. The only cons of this product that I can think of is the the top can be difficult to unscrew at times as the product collects near the top and can go gluggy. And the other one is that the brush is short and a rectangular, but it's flat which good. I just have a preference for brushes that are a bit longer, flat and rounded at the end as those make for the easiest polish application. But that doesn't deter me from repurchasing as this is one of my favorite base coats.
Tips: This is not only a fantastic strengthening base coat but also great on it's own. It does mute out the pink of your nailbeds so your nail color does look a bit brighter or darker or the nude color you picked stands out a tad more. I would highly recommend this for those with damaged tips or perhaps nail biters as my sister is one and this helped to grow her nails out. Look out for deals on Sally Hansen products as Farmers has them every once in awhile and that's great time to purchase this and get another product to try or a discount.
Okay, I don't know much about nail polish, nail care and nail treatments. I have an extremely bad habit of biting my nails and am always trying to file away the ragged ends. Putting a coat of polish on them helps to keep me from chewing on them. I usually use clear polish or hardener from my sister's kit. I'm not very good at painting so I stick to one coat and no color. I wasn't really sure about this one even though it's a nude shade but my sister really recommended it. So I may not be the best person to write a review on this but personally I love it. My hands get cold easily and my nails are almost always a purplely unhealthy color. One coat of this makes it a warm, pale pink and makes look a lot healthier and just better in general. It looks naturally healthy and shiny. It lasts a fairly long time and then chips away really slowly. I find it really strengthens my weak nails as well as making them too pretty to chew. I would definitely recommend it and consider getting a bottle for myself.
Sally Hansen Nail Rehab is A-MAZING. During the short time that I have used it, this product has made my nails healthier, stopped breaking/tears and has made a protective coat on my nails to prevent further damage. I really like the application brush. I think it is the perfect size to apply this and It is a peachy pink color that blends in with my nails. I do like how smooth the finish is. Overall my nails feel 100% healthier and stronger.
I definatly will be using it again!
I love this so far! I have only been using it for a couple of days but I can already see a difference in my nails! My nails were severely damaged by having acrylic nails a few months ago, and they haven't fully recovered, nothing was working on strengthening them, and I had bumps and splits all over my nails. After using this I saw a difference instantly, when it dried my nails became very hard and strong, and they look naturally shiny! The colour of the formula makes it appear as if your nails are not painted, and are naturally shiny. It is also really easy to apply as the brush is small and easy to use!
Tips: Wait until it is fully dry before touching anything, just like you would with a regular manicure otherwise the finish wont be as smooth!
This product is great. I have very weak and not so great nails and when I put this on it did fill all the ridges without feeling too thick. This is great as for me it instantly strengthens my nails. It also drys clear with only a slightly pink tinge which I find great for work. I also found this very long wearing. It has not yet chipped, cracked or come off after a few days which is great. Although to make it last longer I would put a top coat on.
Tips: The nail brush it comes with is tiny so if you don't like small brushes I would suggest using a different one. I also would use this as a base boat under nail polish but if using by itself put a top coat on
I started seriously trying to grow out my nails at the start of this year, and now I've a hand of semi long claws. Some days I can't be bothered with a full on manicure, or I don't feel like having any colour on my nails. This is awesome for those lazy days because I don't like bare nails.
This goes on like a transluscent pink topcoat. Like the baby pink/nude colour you see under a french manicure. One coat looks just like a topcoat, but two or three coats gives my nails a evened out nude look. The brush is very short and small so for my longer nails I have to apply half and then dip the brush to do the rest of the nail. It dries quickly, and because it's transluscent you can't really tell if you accidentally scratch it or smudge it slightly. On me it lasts probably four to five days before getting so chipped that I have to remove it. Oddly enough, when I put the OPI matte topcoat over it, it chipped much faster. Within just three days my nails were webbed with tiny 'cracks' in the polish and I had to get rid of it.
I haven't noticed any drastic improvement in my nails but I feel like it does help somewhat protect my nails from snapping/peeling. I haven't noticed any accelerated growth either, but then again none of the other nail treatments have made my nails grow any faster. I would say this is good for when you want something on your nails but plain topcoat is too boring and a full on mani is too much effort.
I occasionally get peeling nails, and like to help keep them strong with a nail hardener/protector. Most on the market are clear, so when I saw this pale pink a few months ago I decided to give it a try. It goes on a very pretty sheer pale pink, and you can build the colour up with a few coats if you want to. I prefer the sheer look, so normally stick to 1 coat and re apply every 5 days. I find a sheerer coat lasts longer, and the product dries really quickly so there’s little downtime and risk of smudging. The brush is short, but I keep my nails short when they are peeling, so it doesn’t bother me. I have seen an improvement in my nails over the last couple of months and the sheer pink tint keeps my nails looking pretty and professional for work.
Tips: I like to do a full nail care routine, then apply the hardener and follow with a cuticle oil or hand cream once dry.
I recently discovered this after using the Cuticle Rehab and I'm in love. My nails peel and split - this has made such a huge change. I use one coat under nail polish, or two coats if I use it alone. Two coats gives a pretty shiny pink which seals any peels in my nails, and it brightens the nails and makes my transparent tips appear whiter and thicker. It also strengthens my nails.
I will forever repurchase this!
