There is nothing worse than trying to deal with a stressful situation and also having to worry about nasty sweat stains or deodorant stains.
Rexona Invisible Dry has technology to ensure you have 48 hrs protection where you will be kept nice and dry as well as no white deodorant marks or yucky yellow stains.
A perfect deodorant for keeping you dry and protected during the day. I usually use roll ons but always find it good to have a spray in the car for easy application on days when I am out and about but realise I have forgotten to put some on.
I have a love-hate relationship with aerosol spray deodorants. I love that they’re easy to apply and dry instantly, but I hate that they often sting (if I’ve just shaved) and that they don’t tend to give lasting protection. This came with some pretty high claims, so I was excited to see if it lived up to them!
First off: packaging. I really like the shape of this – like most of the Rexona aerosols it’s a really comfy shape to hold, and it’s super sturdy. The pushy-down-thing at the top (I’m so good at descriptive words!) has a purple rubbery grip, and it works really easily. Like with the roll-on, I’m not super keen on the colour-scheme, but this appeals to me slightly more just because it has more white and purple. It’s really not important; it’s just a matter of personal taste.
The spray is very fine and misty, but it does come out quite powerfully, so be sure to hold it far enough away! It dries literally within seconds, which I love, as I hate waiting around to get dressed in the mornings (let’s face it, I’m always running late anyway).
Like the roll-on, this has an extremely fresh, slightly florally scent. I do find it a bit strong, especially first off, as I like to wear perfume and I find this clashes a bit noticeably in the beginning. It does mostly fade away after an hour or so.
Unfortunately for me, as the scent fades away, so does the protection. I don’t find this very effective for long periods of time, particularly if I’m outside or doing anything active. Unlike with the roll-on, I’ve found I can get a bit stinky (grooossss) after several hours. It is easy to reapply, so I could carry it around with me to use as needed, but it’s not good for long periods of time. In addition, I don’t think it’s a great antiperspirant – I’ve been able to test that out, especially in this hot weather, and I don’t find it does as good a job as its roll-on alternative.
On the plus side: it doesn’t sting at all, which is a major bonus, and I haven’t found it to leave any white marks on my clothing. So it definitely lives up to those claims, which is great!
Overall, I think this is a decent aerosol deodorant. I do prefer something with a bit more lasting power for day-to-day wear, as well as a slightly more subtle scent, but for quick, on the go protection, this does the job well.
Tips: -Spray from a good distance away - it's a powerful spray!
-Carry it around in your bag to use for reapplying, even if you use a different deodorant in the morning.
