Colgate Optic White Toothpaste review

I've been using this toothpaste for 1.5 months now. I brought it basically straight after i saw the first advertisement on tv for it. I'm pretty much a sucker when it comes to teeth whitening products. I was very pleased with the results within the first 2 weeks but now, after that time haven't seen much change. I'll keep using it and hopefully i'll see whiter teeth again! Taste is a bit off when you first start it but you'll get used to it - i guess it's less minty than other toothpastes.

This product was great! It definately helped whiten my teeth, but four shades whiter in four weeks? Im not so sure, maybe with continued use. In the media there has been some talk about how some companies have been putting high levels of flouride in toothpastes (to whiten teeth), these high levels can actually kill bacteria in your mouth, even the good ones, so it is always best to be cautious when buying a whitening toothpaste. This brand, im happy to say has safe floride levels.

Ok so.. I have been using this on and off for the past few Weeks.. The reason why I say on and off is I had instantly whiter teeth after a couple days but the minute you top using it, you lose your new lighter pearly whites.. So what do I think? Because its quite intense (I will explain in tips) I think you are best to use this in the morning and after a coffee.. I wouldn't recommend using at night (see why below). The pro of this toothpaste compared to many others is your teeth stay clean for A LONG TIME and you wont wake up with that grose build up in your mouth.

I have been using this product for nearly four weeks and all I can say is impressive results in the first few days, but not much more after that. The taste is also quite different from other toothpastes as it has a much more mintier taste than usual. I didn't really see four shades whiter teeth in four weeks, more like one or two shades. Maybe with a longer use I may be able to see much whiter teeth. I would really recommend this to people looking for a more affordable option to whiter teeth.

Nice affordable product. Did not notice a dramatic change in colour but seem to be slightly whiter. Overall good product for the price

After using Colgate Optic White toothpaste for a week, I noticed visible changes immediately. Because I like to indulge in coffee, you could imagine my teeth were affected by the caffeine. So I was really surprised to notice the difference after using this product. I have now been using it for over a month the results have been great.

I got sensitive teeth from this toothpaste unfortunately. Due to this I wasn't able to use it enough to get results. I'm alternating it with other toothpaste at the moment just to get thru the tube. I don't usually suffer from sensitive teeth either :(

I have had yellow teeth for as long as I can remember & have been quite concious about them. I didn't notice a difference straight away, but then my partner mentioned that they looked whiter. He's quite observant at the best of times, but I didn't think teeth would be of them.

I actually like the taste, it doesn't leave a chemical taste in my mouth like some toothpastes do if you forget to rinse. My teeth have whitened 2 shades after 3 weeks & I'm hoping I'll get another shade lighter after continued use.

Price is good too, some products taste foul & cost 3x more then this with lesser results

I didn't really notice a difference but the toothpaste is good value for money and doesn't leave a bad aftertaste.

WOW - I have used several products that claim to whiten your teeth - with no luck. This product is different. For starters, the tast is fresh so you actually feel like your teeth have been cleaned as well as whitened. I noticed some tea staining on my front teeth had lightened over a two week period. I was concerned that the continual use of the toothpaste would cause damage to my teeth however my dentist says my teeth are totally fine! I will definitely be continuing to use this product - it's a very cost effective way to lighten your teeth by a few shades.
