Garnier Fructis Hair Food Aloe Conditioner

This is a really lovely gentle conditioner that doesn’t leave a product feeling in your hair, keeps the hair looking clean and no build up (as it’s all natural). I did read all the packaging ingredients and it really is natural! Love the packaging too.

Oddly a bit on the runny side so was a bit difficult coating my hair. It smells vaguely perfumed but not anything that I can pinpoint. I leave it in for a few minutes before I rinse it off. It doesn't feel slick in my hair, more of a watery texture.

I finish by blowdrying my hair. I had the most hair fall out than I ever did with other products. My hair did feel more like "hair" however it then tangled a lot. My scalp also started to get itchy and I could see bits of dandruff when I brushed my hair. I really wanted to like this because of the ethical values for the products - vegan formula - biodegradable formula - recyclable - no silicone but I didn't enjoy using them or the results. It might work better for other people.

It comes in a small bottle, is a semi thick white consistency and has a lovely scent.

Simply massage into the ends of your hair, leave for afew minutes and rinse thoroughly.

This product leaves your hair tangle free and works great with the shampoo.

I would recommend this brand.

As with the shampoo, this product also smells amazing, the aloe scent seems to be a bit stronger in the conditioner though. The texture is quite lightweight. I'm used to thicker conditioners that are harder to get out of the bottle, so when I squeezed the bottle, everything kinda burst out with this one. I don't think I'd continue to use this conditioner, only because i don't see huge results after using it. With the garnier hair food ranges, i find that i prefer to just use the masks rather than conditioner, as I think the masks have a better effect on my hair.

After loving the Hydrating Aloe Vera Hair Food Shampoo I was disappointed in this conditioner. It is a very thin, runny consistency, unlike other conditioners which are usually a lot thicker and coat the hair to do their job. I didn't find it detangles as it claims but it did rinse off fast and my hair does feel soft but it's a bit fluffy for my liking. I feel it should have a bit more guts for dry to normal hair to give that conditioned feel and smooth look. It does smell lovely though with the same light scent as the shampoo, it's biodegradable, vegan and the bottle is also recyclable.

I hadn't used any garnier products in a hot minute because id been trying to be a bit more natural so when i seen this. I thought id totally give it ago!

I really liked this conditioner, it smells amazing! although i don't think it smells like aloe! which is probably a good thing right?

It helps untangle my knotty wavy hair when i haven't brushed it, leaves it feeling soft and smooth. It is a little runnier then im used to but felt like i used less because of it. This bottle will last months!

I really enjoyed using the shampoo so I was a little disappointed with the conditioner. This was a light conditioner and didn't weigh down my hair however because the formula was so runny I found it didn't really stay on well so my hair didn't feel as soft as it usually does after I use conditioner. I had to reapply conditioner. Due to the runny consistency, each time I squirt out a lot and then lose a lot from my hand before I can apply it to my hair. I really like how this range uses recyclable plastic containers which can then be recycled again.

I love the smell of this and the shampoo, its fresh and lasts all day. I’m always searching for plant derived hair care because I can get reactions to SLS and silicones. I didn’t get a reaction from this and felt it did the job of a conditioner well. It doesn’t completely detangle but I haven’t found many that do. Would recommend.
