Carousel Cosmetics Perfect Eyes Brush Combo Review

I recieved these brushes about a week and a half ago and I wanted to make sure I gave them enough use before I posted a review on them. However it's safe to say as soon as I ran them across the back of my hand and felt how amazingly soft they were - I knew they'd be awesome. In the pack you get a fluffy blending brushed which is pinched at the top but fluffs out towards the end to make a perfect-sized blending brush. You also get a flatter sort of a "C" brush which I'd use for patting colour onto the lid.

The two brushes are the perfect duo - especially for beginners! I don't like spending heaps on eye brushes because I find that application doesn't change much from a $10 brush to a $100 brush in the eye category so I was pleased with the price point on these. They come in a box that looks as though it would house some sparklers for Guy Fawkes night. The blending brush as I said above is the PERFECT size for my wee eyes. Sometimes I find they make blending brushes TOO fluffy and then they're a bit large and messy to work with. This one is perfect. It does a fantastic job blending and it holds a good amount of product.' The "c" brush is a little bit bigger. It's quite tall for a "c" brush and you could probably get away with using it for blending too but it also carries a good amount of product and feels gorgeous on the eye so it works well as a lid brush in my case.

Overall, I absolutely LOVE these two wee brushes and I want MORE! (mainly so I don't have to wash them as often). They're super soft, fluffy, well sized, have nice long handles(?), and they do a fantastic job with any eyeshadows. I'd 100% recommend. x

These brushes have a very classic design with dark brown soft bristles and a black stick, they look good and feel easy to use.

The first brush was not as good at applying product as opposed to something more dense but it was good for blending out harsh lines of shadow in the crease.

The second brush that is a more rounded top was very good for gentle blending around the outer v and getting rid of harsh lines without making my eyeshadow look messy.

I think that one thing that could have been improved was a slightly more variety in size for the brushes as both are a very similar size so if you needed something for more precision you would need to buy a different brush

I think this brush set would be very good for a beginner who is starting to blend and use different eyeshadow techniques, it compares to high end brushes but the price does not reflect that as they are very affordable.

The very first thing I noticed about these brushes were how soft they were. That being said, the bristles were very strong and did not fall out during washing. The brushes are soft enough that they don't drag the skin on the eyelid and they pick up a lot of eyeshadow and apply well will minimal fall out. Furthermore, the blending brush blends out the colours very well. The design of the brush handles are also very nice and simplistic, and easy to grip.

I really enjoyed using these brushes, they both have soft full bristles which made for easy application whether I used an eyeshadow pot or palette I never experienced much fall from the product which was excellent and now is going to take place of another brush I used for my eyeshadow. They are great, one for building up colour and the other for blending. I have also given the brushes a wash and they have not lost their shape, frayed or shed any bristles. Really like these brushes will continue to use

And hello to Carousel Cosmetics Perfect eyes brushes!! I had always applied my eyeshadow with those fiddly little sponge applicators that come with the eyeshadows, or my fingers and never really saw a problem with either of them until today when I received my brushes from Beauty Vault and tried them out. I'm so amazed at how I've gone this long without finding them! So much easier to apply my eyeshadow and I find there is a bit less shadow fallout using the brushes as opposed to the sponge applicators or using my fingers. I also love how easy it is to blend two colours together seamlessly with the blender brush. They are so fluffy and easy to work with! I don't know how I have lived without these!

I was lucky enough to pick up a few of these free with orders from BeautyBliss but they have become firm favourites of mine.

These slender handle brushes are just the right combination of grip and comfort to allow you to attain many applications of eyeshadow from using just the one brush. With a black shiny handle and silvertone barrel, the bristles are quite tightly bound together to create a tight point at barrel but fluffy end that is rounded in shape. The bristles themselves are soft and strong with no dragging or sharpness catching in your eye area and with every perfect eye brush I own I have never experienced any fall out from bristle or product on brush. Washing these bristles using a washing pad and makeup shampoo at least several times over (note I am not gentle on my brushes!) has seen no bristle fall out or resistance in cleaning, i.e no excess shadow retaining in the depths of the bristles after washing.

Being versatile these brushes allow you to use in it's brought state as fluffy blending brushes for all manner of shadows, to being wet down using water or a fixing spray and becoming more precise for more defined looks. There really isn't anything bad to say about these brushes at all and you will see me using them constantly.

Ok I am going to be honest, up until I received these brushes, I used my finger to apply eye shadow. I didn't think I needed a brush, and I hate those foam things that come with the eyeshadow.

Well well well... how wrong was I? Ok so these brushes feel amazing! They are so soft and delicate that they truly are a pleasure to use. I find that they provide amazing coverage, especially with the light shades.

There is only one con that I can think of, and that is that they don't hold much powder. I find that with the darker colors especially, I need to apply quite a few layers to get the desired effect.

I really like these brushes. To be fair, I used brushes before I received these so I wasn't using the "silly little sponge applicators" like the description says. I like these more than the brushes I already had (just cheapies from Ebay). They are soooo soft and fluffy and I especially like the tapered blending brush for blending out the edges. They seem to pick up a LOT of product. That might have something to do with the shadows I'm using, but I totally forgot to tap off the excess the first time I used them and looked like a bit of a clown for a second.. I haven't had the chance to wash these yet so I'm not too sure how the shedding will go, but will definitely try to update my review when I do wash them.
