Carousel Cosmetics Tapered Blending Brush Review

Ever since I purchased a Zoeva brush set I have to admit I've become slightly snobby about brushes. When I got this my expectations weren't super high - even though my inexpensive elf brushes are pretty decent, I didn't think this was going to be that great.

The handle on this is really long which is something I'm not too fond of. I find that this makes travelling with this a bit annoying as it is difficult to put into my makeup bag. It is a really light brush, which, depending on your preferences you may or may not like. I personally prefer something slightly weightier.

I'm unsure if this brush is synthetic or a blend of natural and synthetic hairs. They look like natural hair but feel like synthetic. This also performs like a synthetic brush (it doesn't pick up as much shadow as my natural brushes). This makes it a good option for beginners or those who don't want a really dark deposit of shadow.

The size is good and fits into my crease with ease. Whilst not as good at blending out shadows as my Zoeva brushes, this does blend them out but it takes a little bit of work. I feel that the length of the bristles is maybe a tiny bit long which makes the brush flop around ever so slightly, which means it takes me longer to blend my shadows out. This is being super not picky btw.

In conclusion, I do think this is a decent brush and is definitely worth $9. If you are wanting to compliment your brush collection or are just starting out then I think this is an ideal brush to give a go.

I placed an order a while ago with Beautybliss.co.nz and they had sent this for free, I was so happy and grateful to have been sent this . Before receiving this brush I hadn't used any Carousel products before.

The brush is super soft, the bristle are quite long compared to regular blending brushes I own.

Normally I use a flat brush to add product to a specific area and then I go in with the Carousel blending brush and blend that area out. It makes blending very quick and easy. I pick this brush up A LOT and I own quite a few brushes.

I use this brush to highlight my face as its not too big and not too small, and gives a precise application to where I want my highlighted areas.

I have had this brush for around 6 months and within that time it hasn't lost its shape and it hasn't shed, it is also as soft and as fluffy as when I first received it.

I am very happy with this brush, I would recommend this brush to everyone, and I will be purchasing one when I can.

I was so impressed by the Carousel brushes I picked up in the beauty vault that I knew I needed more.

I like the brush, the simple black handle is the perfect size to hold and isn't too heavy either. The brush hairs are so soft and of medium-density. The tapered shape also allows the brush to reach right into the crease to blend out colours and is perfect for enhancing the depth of the eyes.

The brush works amazingly, and blends eyeshadows like a dream! You aren't left with any harsh edges and it all just blends into each other so seamlessly. It doesn't shed and is really easy to wash.

I recommend getting your hands on this beauty of a tool now!

I have been looking for a tapered blending brush for a while now. I previously had received some other Carousel Cosmetics brushes for the last beauty vault and I loved them so much I brought this Tapered Blending Brush from Beauty Bliss.

These brushes never let me down. They blend out harsh lines and edges like nothing. I am left with a perfectly blended color and the tapered blending brush makes everything perfect. Plus it can get into places my other brushes cant due to the shape. I have never experienced fallout with this brush and it has never shed any hairs. It is a dream to wash too. No problems only blending solutions with this brush.

I recommend trying this if you want perfect blending every time. I will be buying more as backups.

After seeing Carousel Cosmetics here on BR quite a few times I thought it was about time that I did a Beauty Bliss order! One of the first things that made it into my basket was the Perfect Eyes Makeup Brush Duo. This includes the Shader brush and the Tapered Blending brush. In this set it cost me $14.95 but if you buy them individually they are $9 ea, so it is a fantastic deal.

The brush itself has a black long handle that is very light, and the brush hairs themselves are crazy soft and brown. I must say though I do love the Carousel Cosmetics logo with the wee carousel horse, very cute. The tapered blending brush is just a small fluffy brush.

They say to use this brush to blend your shadows, but I love using fluffy brushes like this to apply shadow all over the lid. It works really well at that. But I can imagine that it would also do a great job at blending as it is a wee bit stiff too. Remember you don't have to use a brush how they say you do. This picks up the eyeshadows really well and feel nice and soft on the eye, not at all scratchy. I haven't had any problems with them shedding at all. It also cleans up really well.

I would recommend this brush to any beginner in makeup as it is a fantastic all purpose eyeshadow set at a extremely reasonable price (especially if you buy in the set like I did).

I was fortunate at one of the vaults to recieve this Brush in a set. Before I tried this I was using Bossy blending brushes. Carousel is easy to acess from online beauty stores.

This brush has a long handle. This brush looks and feels like a paint brush but its not. The bristles on it are very soft. It has the carousel lable on this handle.

When I use this brush it picks up colour very easily. I find it really simple to use. It blends out matte shades nicely across my crease. I haven't noticed any fall out of bristles. I can make looks easily with these brushes.

Overall their simple to use. Their extremely affordable. I would definitely like to buy more brushes from this brand.

This blending brush is the only one i use when wanting to define my crease. No matter what I always go back to it. I have had mine for about two years and every time I was it, it feels brand new! Such a great price especially for something that feels super soft two years later!
