Anastasia Beverly Hills Perfect Brow Pencil Review

For the past year I have purchased probably half a dozen cheap eyebrow pencils, trying to find one which fit the bill without breaking the bank. I have quite thick brows so really just wanted something quick and subtle to give them a little bit of polish and even out any gaps. Some pencils were too soft, and smooshed through my brows, others were far too warm and made it look like I had red eyebrows. The wax in the elf brow kit was great but didnt really equate to a fast application. In addition the wear time was only a couple of hours even after setting with a brow gel. After so many attempts and lots of research I decided to finally take the plunge and purchase the anastasia brow wiz as it looked like it would fit the bill.

This brow pencil has two ends, a mechanical brow pencil on one end and a spoolie on the other. I like to use the spoolie through my brows, gently feather the pencil through any gaps and then finish off with the spoolie to soften out any harsh edges. Finally I set with brow gel. The colour of the pencil is absolutely perfect, a soft ashy brown which is not crazily pigmented. This is brilliant as I already have bold brows and steadily go to groucho territory if I use too pigmented a brown product. I love how the pencil is not too soft so you can get soft precise strokes. My brows finally look how I want them to!

My only issue/s with this product is the price (ouch) and the fact that this still doesnt last all day on me. In saying that, it is the middle of summer, so not too many products are holding up on my face for the whole day! And in terms of price, if I had skipped the cheap inferior brow pencils and gone straight to this one, I probably would have spent the same amount of money! I can definately see why Anastasia Beverley Hills is so well known for superior brow products.
