Braun FaceSpa Pro Review

I'd buy this for the hair removal part alone!

I've got fair hair and as i've got older i've found that these long facial hairs just pop up out of nowhere and overnight so it would seem! Where they come from remains a mystery, but where they now are go is a mystery no longer.

I've tried waxing and threading before and they've worked but this wee gem is just so easy and painless. You just whip it over your face (and upper lip) and voila no more hag hairs! It's super painless and really quick.

The unit head can be interchanged with a cleansing brush and also a vibrating head that helps penetrate your moisturiser better.

The Cleansing brush was great. Normally after i've cleansed I need to whip over my face with a astringent pad or toner and you can still see some dirt but this step isn't necessary after i've used the Cleansing brush.

I have to say I wouldn't use it daily, but I'll use it at the weekend when I do my once weekly more intense facial routine with a mask. It really will be like a mini spa.

Ditto with the vibrating head attachment that you can use that makes your moisturiser penetrate more deeply. A bit unusual but the results were va va va voom!

The entire set comes in a dinky little bag so you can keep everything together. I've got to say it would never have been on my radar before this trial but I think will keep an eye out for when it's on special and look to buy one for my mum for her birthday.

Ok, so in spite of the fact I'm a beauty therapist, the facial epilator frightened me. I'm 27 and thought do i really NEED this element in my life. I'm a fan of epilating my legs and bikini area but face well... it was a scary prospect.

However I am pleased to say its teeny tiny epliating head did not disappoint. I just ran it over my eyebrows with barely a flinch. The skin around brows definitely needs to be taught so bear that in mind ladies. I also tested for 'tash and chin hairs and had some removed. The FINEST fluffs it picked up! My skin felt much smoother. Its OK to admit we a have some element of side burns and beard going on regardless of age haha - and my makeup sits so smoothly on top of my fuzz-free face.

The cleansing head was great but those with sensitive skin might want to avoid daily use as it does leave the skin a little pink after use.

The vibration head was great as a BT I see damaged skin often - this is definitely a more gentle way to apply creams.

Loved the little bag it comes with as well. Lets you store your lady weapon away tidily!

I was lucky enough to be picked by BR to review this product. I am really into skincare. It's the foundation everything else is built on and I had been curious to see how something like the Braun FaceSpa Pro would affect my skin. My skin is sensitive, so I need to be careful product wise but I do have combination skin. I generally have some degree of an oily t-zone. I wax my upper lip with facial wax strips every six weeks or so and usually get a few reaction pimples a few days later.

When the FaceSpa Pro arrived it came in a nice looking box and was well packed. The device was presented well and I was pleased to see it came with a nice soft pouch to put it in for travel. The charging cable that comes with it is very long so you're not restricted by that when you charge it. It also come with a stand for you to put it on when you're not using it. I like that it can stand to dry and isn't just rolling around on the vanity. The three heads are very easy to change over. The device itself looks really nice and is finished well. I charged this for a few hours the day it arrived and the charge lasted the entire review period of two weeks, being used multiple times a day, without having to be recharged. I have to say I was impressed by this.

When the FaceSpa Pro arrive the first thing I tried out was the epilation head. It stung like a swarm of tiny bees were stinging my face but as soon as the hairs were gone it stopped hurting. The area of my face that I epilate is so small that it took no more than a minute. It's bearable but more importantly very effective. I easily got all of the hairs I needed to gone and the best bit was I had no reaction pimples! I also like that it's more environmentally friendly. I won't be throwing out wax strips, I can get better results with this and no rubbish as a result.

I had got into the habit of cleansing my skin in the morning and removing my makeup in the evening with a makeup wipe and then spraying some toner on afterwards. A couple of hours later I would apply lash serum, face serum and night cream but not anymore! The cleansing head does a fantastic job. I am using Essano cleanser at the moment. I wet the brush head, wet my face, put the cleanser on the brush head, smear some on each of the three zones and then get to work. The device goes for 20 seconds, which is the recommended amount of time you use it on one area of your face, and then move onto the next area. You can vary the speed between fast and slow depending on what you feel like. I have now got into the habit of cleansing my skin in the afternoon when I remove my makeup and (continued in Tips field)

I purchased this at a really good price from CarpeNoctum mainly for the epilator head which has done a really good job of getting rid of hairs on my jawline. I also tried it on my upper lip which is a lot more sensitive so I have to keep persevering with it to get a good result. Having never used an epilator on my face before, it was a bit daunting, and does feel uncomfortable at first use, but gets better with continued use. This set comes with three attachment heads, the face epilator, the cleansing brush and the micro vibration head. I found the cleansing brush left my skin tingly and pink and thoroughly clean. The micro vibration head is an added bonus for helping moisturiser to sink into skin and stimulates circulation. I use it on my jawline to firm the skin. Comes with a stand and nice suede type travel bag. No more tweezers and wax on my face, yay! I would thoroughly reccomend this product for hair removal, firming our face and getting glowing skin.

I didn't get the chance yet to use all the tools, but I did use the epilator on my face. And it worked so well! does the job. It's also easy to charge and it's wireless once it's fully charged.

I could barely contain my excitement when this arrived at my house. The Facespa Pro is truly one elegant face tool with its sleek, streamlined design and rose gold lid it makes for the best at home face spa experience ever! I'm getting excited and I haven't even got to the best parts yet! It's fairly light weight so portable enough to carry in your handbag.

Using it for the first time was easy I just followed the directions and charged it for an hour and it was good to go with about 45mins of battery life. That doesn’t seem like a very long time but when you are only using it for a few minutes a day it's long enough. It comes with three attachments, the cleaning brush, micro vibration head and the epilation head. It also comes with a stand and handy carry pouch too. I found all the attachments sturdy and easy to take on and off. The control button has different purposes depending on which attachment is being used. It changes the direction the epilation head rotates or it slows down/speeds up the cleansing brush/micro-vibration head.

White, black short,long, thick or thin the epilation head removes it all, it's amazing! It got rid of some dark stubborn stray chin hairs with ease. I also used it on my upper lip to remove finer, lighter hair and underneath my eyebrows too. I won’t lie there was some discomfort around the upper lip and some irritation and redness afterwards but it got rid of the hair down to the root and it hasn’t grown back nearly 2 weeks on. It's easy to clean thanks to the black brush which is supplied.

The cleansing brush can be used wet or dry. I found it interesting that it only vibrates so you must do circular motion when cleansing your face for it to work well. I found this cleaning brush excellent, the bristles are super soft on my delicate, sensitive skin it leaves my skin soft and smooth to touch and there was no reaction or increased facial sensitivity. I have been using it about 3-4 times a week to give my skin a much deeper clean especially after I have worn make-up but it can be used every day. I found the bristles got stained with make-up if you don't remove beforehand. A neat feature is the button at the top of the cleansing brush that removes the brush face so you can easily give it a good clean.

The micro-vibration head is one seriously cool feature. The metal end is flexible and vibrates when using. I am currently using it with a brightening cream as I have pigmentation spots so hopefully this will help speed up the results. I did notice the metal end heats up slightly when using which I guess helps to really penetrate the cream into the skin. My skin is so soft and literally glows after using this!

While I have only been using the Facespa Pro for a few weeks my skin is definitely thanking me for it. I can't find anything negative to say about the Facespa pro I absolutely love it. Thank-you for the opportunity to experience it's magic.

As a South Asian brown woman with a lot of facial hair, I was very excited to try this. The Braun FaceSpa Pro comes beautifully packaged in a cardboard box. The box contains a rechargae device/tool, with 3 head attachments - a cleansing brush, facial epilator and microvibration toning. Also, a recharging cable, a bag to store them in and a little cleaning brush.

The cleansing brush is very gentle on the skin. The head rotates in a fast circular motion once the device is turned on. I use it with my foaming cleanser for deep cleansing and use it all over my face, except the eye area. My skin felt very soft and smooth afterwards.

The facial epilator turns very fast to remove hair. It’s gentle on the skin and doesn’t pull the skin away while it does its thing. There wasn’t much pain in most areas, except delicate areas like the upper lip and eyebrows there was just slight bit of pain, but that disappears very quickly. I have a mix!of course and fine hair and I didn’t see any regrowth for at least 4 days, which is so much better than shaving or dermaplanning where I see regrowth the next day. However, even with the regrowth, it wasn’t very noticeable as the hair weren’t long. I only had to reuse it again after 6-7 days.

The microvibration toning head has a lovely cooling sensation, which is so nice during these hot summer days. Once the device is turned on, it has fast vibration motion. I found it easy to apply my skincare and had fast absorption with it. I can’t tell if it’s making much difference to skin while using it to apply my skincare though, but it’s handy for quick application of skincare.

These are also travel friendly as they’re light to carry. I’ve taken them on my recent holiday. Overall, I like this set and recommend it to others who have a lot of facial hair like me that grows very quick usually or wanting to take good care of their skin.

I purchased this tool mainly for the epilator to remove that dreaded peach fuzz. It works really well and I'm pleased with the result. Yes it does hurt a bit but you get used to it with frequent use. I use this in a circular motion to get all the hairs and it does pick up the finest ones.

The cleansing brush is nice and gentle and gives your face a thorough clean ready for the next step...

Moisturisation is enhanced with the micro vibration head making you feel ready to take on the day. It helps apply the moisturiser and gently gets the blood cells pumping.

I love that this is a rechargeable tool. It's lightweight and easy to hold. It looks very fancy standing in its holder with its rose gold lid on! The instructions are a little basic, I would have expected a nice pamphlet with photos, but I figured it all out!

The epilator: Not gonna lie. I was going to skip this head. But I put my big girl trousers on and I ran it over my chin and upper lip. You definitely want to hold the skin taut, but other than the occasional 'oo' it doesn't hurt at all. My skin has never been so smooth. It's also great for tidying up between the brows. Buh-bye mono brow.

The cleansing brush: I used this with my usual gel cleanser in the shower. I was expecting a powerful rotating action, and was a bit disappointed by how gentle it seemed. However - it is gentle but mighty - it feels like its gently brushing your face, but really, its giving it a deep cleanse and exfoliating it. Seriously - my skin felt absolutely incredible after the first use. I use this once a day, and have not suffered from any dryness or over-cleansing.

The micro-vibration head: Oh my. So you're meant to use it for 20 secs on the left of your face, 20 on the right, and 20 seconds on your forehead. I must have a huge face because I find I need to use it for double that time. But I love the whole 2 minutes.

Would I spend 2 minutes rubbing in my face cream with my hands? No. But with this tool its a lovely couple of minutes of the day. The head feels cool to start, and warms to leave your face feeling loved. It definitely feels like my creams and serums are being absorbed more, and once again - that baby soft skin. OMG!!

I would absolutely buy this again (although the nature of the product is I probably won't need to). I think I'm going to buy one for my sisters birthday present - she'd love it. I think any woman who wants glowing skin would.

My review in short: This tool is the key to glowing skin.
