Eco Tan Tinted Coconut Sunscreen Review

I purchased this at the beginning of last summer after looking into more natural alternatives to my previous sunscreen and I am so glad I did as it will be my go to every summer from now on!

First of all, I love the scent of this. I am a huge fan of the coconut scent so the scent of this sunscreen is lovely to me. I love that this is free of nasties and instead full of skin nourishing ingredients like Jojoba and Rose-hip oil. It makes me feel like I am doing twice the good for my skin, protecting it from the sun and giving it lots of nourishment.

This sunscreen really does perform amazingly (just as well as any sunscreen I have tried), yet is not greasy or oily looking/feeling on the skin, smells lovely (without that typical sunscreen smell) and doesn't irritate/sting my eyes. It ticks all the boxes.

You only need the smallest amount of this which makes it great value for money and once rubbed in it has a very natural finish on the skin. I love that this has a slight skin toned tint and evens out my skin tone to give me skin that looks naturally radiant. I have used this on my face alone and under make-up with no issues and also all over my body.

I would 100% recommend this sunscreen and will be buying another tube next summer :)

Firstly, I love the delicious light coconut scent this has. It is so much more pleasant than the scent of your typical sunscreen. I have been using this mostly on my face but also on my body when spending more time out in the sun or in the water and it has protected me well. I love the slight natural looking tan tint it gives and how moisturising it is on my drier skin. Another problem I often have with sunscreens is it moving on my face and getting into my eyes and stinging. I am glad to say this has never irritated my eyes, so thats a big plus for me.

Packaging wise it is also great. The tube is a decent size for the price, it is handy to take with you and to reapply when out and about. I like the simple natural based design and look forward to trying more eco tan products now since this was such a hit for me.

I find this works well under makeup and great alone (especially with the tint of colour making you look that much more glowing). I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to all. It feels good protecting your skin with a product with no nasty chemicals and simply natural skin loving ingredients.

Having sensitive skin and an allergy to some sunscreens I like to spend a bit more time choosing and will generally also pay more for one that doesn’t cause my face to blow up like a balloon. I tried a few sunscreens from this range and so far have loved them all. It’s hard to find one that is a decent spf as well as both uva and uvb protectant whilst being water resistant also. This formula’s definitely light weight, looks whiteish applies clear. Not heavy on the skin. A very light weight formula that doesn’t appear greasy or oily so sits well under makeup. I also have the glory vale one in this range but find that quite greasy compared to this. This is a smaller bottle though but has still lasted me a long time. Love the scent as I have also used the face sunscreen and the glory vale one which are both unscented and just not as delicious. Would 100% repurchase!
