I had this lipstick in the cherry shade and it was on point! It had a bright and powerful colour with one swipe. It was velvety smooth and didn't do that gross dry cakey thing if your lips were dry. It stayed on really well and lasted throughout the night. What more could you want? I need to stop looking around and just buy more of this amazing staple!

I really think Revlon's Matte lipstick is unique. It's not dry when applying it just slides on and dries up and lasts long!
I love Matte lipsticks, but sometimes they dry up and crumble but this beauty doesn't! and it's not uncomfortably dry.
I currently have and use "011 Untold Stories" Which is a beautiful nude a little lighter brown but it's everyday wear. Gorgeous colour.
And I have "014 Shameless" Which is a darker brown/pinkish everyday wear. I think I love this one a little more because it's not BOLD but also it's natural but it does show you have lipstick on a little. and most importantly long-lasting even when you eat or have a drink it doesn't disappear too quickly.
And finally, this lipstick has no taste which is perfect in case it goes in your mouth.
I am a big fan of Revlon lipsticks and it's the brand I predominantly use for lip products, so I expected great things from this matte lipstick but it was a bit disappointing. I have the shade 'Pick Me Up' a lovely neutral brown colour with pink undertones (pictured above as the Beauty Vault shade). The lipstick packaging is classy, the lipstick comes in a matte black lipstick bullet with gold accents. The lipstick itself has 'Revlon' etched into the product which is a luxurious touch. There is no fragrance that I can detect in the lipstick. The lipstick is quite hard to apply. Most matte lipsticks go on quite moist/creamy and dry down matte, but this applies matte in the first place. I find it quite hard to apply as the lipstick is quite stiff so it takes a while for it to warm up and blend into the lips and apply smoothly. The colour is gorgeous, but it is the kind of matte that emphasises every line and imperfection in your lips, so it's not ideal if you have drier lips, and I'd recommend using a lip scrub and lip balm before using this. So... it isn't so lustrous after all! This also is one of those matte lipsticks that makes your lips feel dried out after you remove it as well. It doesn't transfer much and does last well throughout the day, so you don't need to reapply often. This isn't a terrible lipstick, and it does the job and looks alright, but for the RRP and given how amazing Revlon's lipsticks normally are, I just don't think it's worth the RRP price or is one of the best matte lipsticks out there (or lustrous for that matter). If you can pick this up on sale, then it'll do the job, but I would not recommend grabbing this full price as there are better matte lipsticks out there, that won't make your lips look very dehydrated.
Tips: Use a lip scrub and lip balm before application for a smoother application and a more flattering result.
I purchased a lipstick from the beauty vault, i didnt get a option to choose a colour so i assumed it was random which was a risk but i previously knew how good revlon lipsticks are (I only have 1 but have heard from many they are good) so it was a risk i took. The colour i received was 003 Pick Me Up, its a nice pink/nude colour , maybe even a bit mauve? I have pale skin and i love it but i feel as if its a colour that would suit many skin tones. The lipstick feels velvety on my lips which i was happy about because mattes are typically quite drying but not this one! Im glad i got it through the vault and i would be happy to purchase a revlon lipstick from a store in the future.
Colour: 'Red rules the world'. This is a gorgeous orange-based red. Really packs a punch. A comfortable matte formula.
These are up there with the best lipsticks I have used. I have really dry lips and can struggle to find lipstick that lasts but these were great, they really did feel moisturising. With vitamins A and C I felt the benefit on my lips as they usually dry out but didn't with this lipstick. I purchased the creme lipstick (Teak Rose) and for $25 felt is was worth trying as I struggle to not eat off my lipstick and this one says it is long lasting. I found the colour lasted through eating and drinking and lasted most of the day . The creme had nice gloss to it as well. The matte colours also are amazing, they are super pigmented and long lasting too so next one I buy will be a matte one.
Tips: Great for dry lips
I have this is pink pout and the lipstick in the bullet looks almost lilac that is the kind of pink it is but on the lips it is a bit warmer. I like that this lip stick brand is made with 80 percent of moisturising additions avocado oil and claims to be number one in some countries America I believe. Compared to other lipsticks of this type of colour I found this one not to be pigmented though so I had to layer it - this doesn't make it very good value for money if pay the full retail price it isn't fully matte either but semi. I've tried a few of the pearl colours in the Revlon Super Lustrous line and my Avon lipsticks are more pigmented and didn't soak in after only a little while leaving a patchy faded look as soon as these Revlon ones do. Longevity is poor but comfort and moisturising additions gives this more points.
