I wasn't a huge fan of serums until Savar's Ultra Brightening Serum came along. Now I use them religiously, I go between this one and one other brand - depending which is at hand.
I love that this serum is "pure & natural" so I know my skin isn't absorbing any nasties. Not only that, this feels so nice on my skin and makes my skin feel really soft. The serum is very light so if you're not into oily skincare products then I recommend this. It absorbs quite quickly too. It smells really nice, quite subtle, it isn't a strong scent. The serum comes in a glass bottle with an oil dropper making it really easy to use.
I usually add this product to my moisturiser to make my moisturiser an extra bit hydrating on my skin, I use it sometimes directly to my skin as well. I didn't see results instantly but have noticed over a couple of months of use my skin is a lot more glowy and more healthy looking and have received compliments about it.
I bought this because I'm all about skincare that brightens and the fact that it was made with natural ingredients was a plus. It's a light, slightly watery gel serum and the scent is a refreshing melon scent. Well, it smells like that to me and melon scents are one of my top faves. This serum has rosehip, blackcurrant, goji, kiwi, lemon fruits exacts plus bearberry leaf extract in a base of melon fruit water and glycerin. This is a lovely serum to apply and my skin soaks it up which makes it ideal for layering and it feels really comfortable on my skin. At the moment my skin is more dry and sensitive in places but I think that if my skin was more oily this serum would still be suitable and the extra hydration would help towards balancing it out. Now as lovely as this was to apply. I didn't really see any brightening results from using this. And I while I think this does help hydrate my skin a bit I don't think using this will make fine lines go away although the antioxidants do help towards anti-ageing. I have almost used up the bottle and I haven't seen it make a difference to my skin and coupled with the high price tag is the reason I'm not repurchasing.
Tips: This serum absorbs quickly so it's ideal for layering under a facial oil if you have dry skin or another serum or light moisturizer if you have oily skin.
