This product is actually really good! I was hesitant initially because it looked like ground coffee beans... but it was perfect! Smelt amazing! Gives a really good scrub, and gives that perfect feeling of water dripping off... water on a duck! Will most definitely be buying this product again!

I have eczema, so I'm always on the lookout for good products. The packaging is gorgeous, very minimal modern monochrome font. It's an Australian brand, but made in China, and claims to be all organic which is a huge plug.
This was a really nice scrub for soothing my skin, and also smells like a divine coffee. How it works is you get your skin wet in the shower, then rub the scrub all over, leaving in for a few minutes before rinsing off.
However, I found it was really messy. It's coarser than most other coffee scrubs and doesn't wash off so easily, so if you're not prepared for this you might spill a lot on the shower floor, or if you haven't rinsed thoroughly you will get it in your towels. If you're looking for a free coffee-scented tan though, this will leave a hint of tint on your skin that you would need very vigorous washing to remove. Generally I use scrubs in a quick shower, but I think with this scrub I would recommend taking your time.
The coffee and coconut oil combination clearly work though, because they definitely leave my skin very soft and not as itchy. If you're okay with spending a bit of time and effort, this works really really well.
Tips: Pour the powder into a jar to make it more manageable to control how fast you're pouring the stuff out as the packaging can be a little difficult to work with in the shower.
At a first glance, the smart packaging and pleasant aroma of roasted coffee beans seems like a great combination, and it is, to some extent.
The coffee scrub was somewhat rewarding; it left my skin smooth and moisturised, not exposed like some scrubs that remove too much of your skin's essential oils, but not an extraordinary experience. I'm sure if i was a coffee addict it would have had more of a hype.
The scrub was hard to spread around due to it being a bit clumpy, resulting in a 25% loss to the floor. In fact the mess it makes is the main downfall of this product - the scrub leaves coffee grinds everywhere that take some time to dissolve. There is also the inconvenience of the advised 5 minute waiting period after the scrub is applied, which meant avoiding the water and not being able to wash anything for that time. Also, after slight confusion over how I'd managed to get more tanned, I realised the coffee had left a coating on my skin. It required the scrubbing of another shower gel on my skin to completely wash the coffee remains off. This is unfortunate because showers tend to need to be taken quickly, before getting ready to go out, and often one can't really afford to allow for adding time to the process.
Overall, the scrub definitely worked to some extent, but at what expense? The question is more about whether 1) you have time to spare and 2) you're willing to clean your skin, and wash the shower floor, rather thoroughly afterwards. I'm slightly on the fence about whether I believe the above average effort required is worth the above average results.
Tips: When using the scrub, only grab it in small portions at a time. Only a bit spreads at a time, so don't risk losing half of what you take out of the bag to the floor.
Make sure you have spare time to kill before using the scrub, as it takes a lot of time and care to use.
This product was ok you have to really wet it when you apply it to your skin because it is really dry out of the packet. It was a nice feeling after washing it off but it does make a mess,I used it in the shower I had to use the shower hose to really clean the shower the product made my bathroom smell though like coffee.
Tips: wet the product in the bag instead of pulling it out of the bag dry it was easier that way to apply to the body.
I've never used a coffee scrub before so was really intrigued when I trialled this one. The ingredients all seemed to be natural and I had already heard about the benefits of using coconut oil on your skin so was very keen to try it. You basically use this in the shower, applying to wet skin, then leaving it on for a few minutes and then showering it off. I was a bit too impatient to wait the full length of time suggested on the packet but I don't feel that I missed out on any extra benefits. When I opened the packet the smell was pretty much like a freshly roasted coffee, which I love, but was pretty happy that the smell didn't linger on my skin. I did find it to be quite messy though so I tend to use it before cleaning the shower. My skin felt amazing after using this product and there was no need for any extra moisturizing.
Tips: It can be quite messy, also slippery under foot when in the shower. I also found that if you don't rinse well enough your left with slightly tinted skin!
Great product and so easy to use. Skin felt fabulous after using the product and so smooth. Would definitely use again.
Tips: Can be a bit messy so make sure you use in the bathroom to keep clean up easy
Sooo I usually smell like coffee on the daily (barista) so wasn't too phased with smelling like it after the shower. The overall texture of the scrub it really nice but boy oh boy does it make a mess of the shower/bathtub. I was really optimistic about using the scrub and did what I normally do and wash with soap (LUSH soap) and then follow with a body scrub (if it's that time of the week) After waiting while it dried (as instructed) I rinsed the scrub off only to find my body covered in what looked like a REALLY bad fake tan. Which I figured was from the oil in the coffee beans. That left me feeling a bit meh. Safe to say I had to re-wash myself...twice and might I add scrub with the loofah to get the residue off my skin. quite annoyed really.
Tips: make sure you have a loofah and good soap/body wash around.
OMG this stuff is awesome, my skin feels so soft afterwards, I'm so sold,
It smells great, a bit messy to put on, and the waiting a while before washing it off can be a bit annoying,
but totally worth it, skin stays smooth for days, I have to stop myself from touching my face. Feels like I'm a kid again.
I recommend this to anyone who wants smooth good looking skin.
Tips: Apply in shower, Can be a bit messy.
Well I was excited to have been chosen for this product as I'm having issues with dry skin. And yes my skin did feel better afterwards. Unfortunately this was at the expense of time and effort!
This was anything but an easy product to use. The mess and chaos it caused in the bathroom was unreal haha - I'm still finding coffee grinds now! The shower was stained brown as was my skin!! Looked like a bad fake tan! Only took a coulemof scrubs to get me back but time!
The bag looked great. Love the design and lettering layout. It's modern and bright and gives you lots of good info without being too wordy. However once you're wet and trying to negotiate the opening and closing haha we'll have a go!
The fun they promised. well it may have been fun if I wasn't cleaning up so hard.
Tips: Have a huge shower and A sexy man on standby to clean it afterwards.
DO NOT USE IF YOURE ON AN ECO TANK OR SEPTIC - coffee grinds cannot go down into them (something I forgot oooopps)
I am a big fan of exfoliating and scrubbing my skin, getting all that old skin off and maybe being a little obsessive about being 'cleaner'. I was super excited to get to trial the Mr Bean Coconut Body scrub, as I've been wary of the 'fad' that has been coffee scrubs, but I can honestly say this is my new favourite product!
It feels wonderful to rub the scrub all over your body, and a little on your face. The smell is wonderful... as it's mixed with coconut oil it's not got too much of a coffee smell. I followed the instructions some what, it states to leave it on for five minutes but I'm not good at timing myself in the shower, so I kinda just left it on for as long as I could. Washing it off does leave a massive mess in the shower... like a coffee scented murder scene! In all corners and possibly up some walls too (I'm one of those vigorous shower peeps).
After I washed it off, my skin felt AMAZING. Like seriously, AMAZING!! I have sunspots and tough skin on my décolletage, thanks to being a pale teen but wanting so badly to be a sun baby, I can honestly say the skin on my chest has not felt this way in ages. I'm in love! It's so soft an fresh looking. The rest of my body equally feels amazing. The skin on my arms, stomach and legs just feels great... I am honestly a convert and will be a regular user of coffee scrub. I've even had comments about how the skin on my face seems to be "glowing" a little (I'm chalking that up to the scrub as well).
I don't think I would use the product more than twice a week, as I think it could be a bit too harsh... but definitely a must in any beauty routine.
Tips: Be prepared for a shower mess :P
