Lush Pink Flamingo Bubble Bar Review

This my first bubble bar. I was really lucky to score this in the vault and around the time I acquired a bathtub. I did have other bath bombs at the time and I don't have baths often since I the hot water cylinder is small in this house. It did have a nice fruity scent originally but probably because I didn't use it up within a few months it seems to have lost that scent. I run the water in the tub and swirled the flamingo around and instantly got nice foamy bubbles and it colored the water pink. The amount of bubbles I got reminded me of when my family used to occasionally go for a few days at a nice resort when I was younger and a few times the room we had had a bathtub and foam bath. We used to empty as many bottles of foam bath we could get our small hands on to get as much foam in the bath. This bubble bar got more bubbles with some good swishes in the bath water than three small 30ml bottles of foam bath, probably was cheap stuff too. I eagerly got in the tub to enjoy my lovely pink bath. Here's where it got a bit disappointing, the beautiful bubbles only lasted about ten minutes before like there was only a few sparse clusters of bubbles left in the tub. I tried swishing my hands in the water to sort of revive the foam and swish up more bubbles but I only had pink water. This is my first bubble bar so I don't know if the bubble longevity is short with just this bar or bubble bars in general or if it's a result of not using it up soon enough. The pink water was really nice and moisturizing. When I finished soaking about 20 minutes later I had a film of moisture on my skin which, surprised me because I thought with all those bubbles and foam that my skin would be kinda dry afterwards. I definitely enjoyed this bubble bar and I'm happy that I can get more baths out of this one. I definitely want to try more bubble bars.

I was overjoyed to get this darling product from the BR beauty vault. I’m a massive Lush fan so was very excited to try it. Mine came in perfect condition, and looked and smelt delightful!

It is a beautiful pink flamingo on a stick. The smell is super strong which made it tempting to just leave it sitting on my duchess scenting my room! Anyway I didn’t.

I’ve been swirling it around in the bath until the water is pink and aromatic then taking it out to use again. It’s lovely. I hold the flamingo not the stick while I’m swirling though, cos I’m afraid it’ll drop off!

The candy floss scent stays on my skin for a while after getting out of the bath.

It is $12.50, and I will buy one in the future, and recommend it to others – also a very cute gift idea.

What a gorgeous, gorgeous product. Lush has done it again! I already adore this company endlessly for their active fighting against animal testing, their ethical decisions and their awesome attitude towards natural ingredients and handmade processes. Then they come out with beauties like the Pink Flamingo Bubble Bar and I love them even more!

The scent for this bubble bar is a bit hard to describe, it's simultaneously sweet, candy-like, and also incense-like. I loved this scent, and loved how the scent subtly lingered even after I got out of the bath.

The head of the flamingo had broken off when it arrived in the post, so I just used the head for my first bath with this product. It produced a great amount of bubbles, which didn't stay for ages, but still left the water a lovely pink colour and smelling beautiful.

When I got this in the vault I was super excited Lush hasn't let me down so far & read that this is like a bottomless coffee of bubble bars I was swooning.

A flamingo shaped bar on a stick that yas delicious scent combo of paradise I mean the tropical goodness of the aroma is pleasurable to the senses. This bar immediately creates bubbles from the first hit of water & the bubbles have a nice shimmer to them glosterning bubbles that also leave the water slightly hued with a pink colour. The scent is as good when wet as it is dried. I got quite a good use from this bubble bar. My kids and I throughly enjoyed bathing in it. I'd say approximately 10 baths were the result of this use. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend this is leaves you feeling happy yet relaxed upon finishing your bath.

When I saw this Flamingo pop up in the beauty vault I added it to my list of products to try and get from the beauty vault that day I was successful in getting it. This year I've started getting into bathing. It was my very first experience trying this bubble bar.

My Flamingo came to me nicely bubble wrapped. This bubble bar is a vibrant shade of pink. It sits on a stick. I found this stick quite delicate. Mine did snap when I moved it around. This texture is smooth but slightly grainy. This scent reminds me of sweet candy similar to snow fairy .

When I broke it up into my bath it crumbled and marbelled into bright pink water. A swift stir of the water with gushing tap water turned my bath into a bubbly sweet oasis. I managed to get a good thirty to fifty minutes soak before the bubbles began to evaporate.

I feel fortunate that I can try a series of products from the beauty vault. This bubble bar lasted me a total of three to four baths. Its priced fairly and is great to use for my whole family. I would happily buy this again.

I got this from Beauty Vault , as I have wanted to try LUSH bath stuff for ages, and thought I'd treat my wee one too. When I opened my parcel, the smell of fruity sweetness hit me immediately - which I love but know that some others don't. My bubble bar was delicate but survived the trip from North to South. The wand 'stick' seems quite flimsy too. The scent reminds me of fruit lollies, I can see why this is so popular with both adults and kids!

I swirled this through my sons bath, and it seems to have lasted quite a long time although I guess a baby bath doesn't use up as much, we enjoyed watching the bath gradually turn pink and smell delicious. If you have a child like mine who loves stick-like objects and eating things, do be careful! Luckily I could distract him with dinosaur bath toys while I hid the flamingo away for next time. LUSH are known for natural ingredients, but that doesn't mean they are safe to eat! This is gentle enough for children/sensitive skin, with no irritation or redness shown in the few times we've used it so far. My only little gripe is I'm not too sure how to store it to let it dry out properly between each use. I do wish it was packaged a bit better.

Looking forward to trying more fun bath products from LUSH, and I'm sure my son will agree! Another bonus in my book was that although it turns the water pink, it doesn't leave glitter on the skin or anything like that, which makes it perfect for unisex use or people who hate bath stuff leaving residue all over them!

I bought this for my daughter (who loves flamingos) as a birthday treat, sadly the one I ordered online arrived decapitated so I did a mad dash to the local Lush store to pick up a replacement. She loved it! (and I get to enjoy the broken one secretly lol). It smells very fruity (I think berry) and not quite as sweet as other pink Lush treats. She loved her Magic wand at Christmas and if you liked that scent you may well like the flamingo bubble bar too. It has a fruitier scent to it than the sweet smell of the magic wand and about half as many uses. My daughter only got 3 baths out of her bar and already craves another flamingo to replace hers... luckily I have a spare.

It foams well and leaves the water a beautiful bright hue of pink (the small section of orange washes away really quickly).

There is no sparkle or shimmer with this one unlike Magic wand. It leaves our skin feeling soft but after a while it starts to feel a little dry. This isn't like other bubble bars that you need to crumple as it dissolves in the water by swirling around and therefor you avoid the skin grabby feeling some bars leave your hands with.

At Christmas time I fell in love with the magic wand bubble wand, (that snow fairy scented one) it was cute and a great idea reusing it and it was especially great for the mini-me's. And it produced an awesome amount of bubbles for such little use. So when I noticed this came out after Christmas I had to get it.

This lil fella is rather top heavy, the stick I find to be rather long and thin so when your swirling it around the bath or under the tap I feel like it's all going to break, luckily it hasn't yet but I still treat it gently.

The bright pink colour of this fella really stands out from the crowd, i don't think I have seen a brighter pink from lush yet, it's simply gorgeous. The scent is definitely fruity. I can't get the scent of any particular fruit just a fruity cocktail like the label says. It's quite strongly scented which I love as I'm all for the strong scents.

I swirl this around the bath for about 10 seconds and watch as the mountains of bubbles form and turn the bath water to a light shade of pink and leaving the water delicately scented with the sweet fruity scent. I love this bubble wand even though it makes me feel hungry with the delish sweet scent.

It leaves a very faint sweet scent on my skin after I dry. Lovely bubble wand and great for the mini-me's too.
