I bought this product after reading great reviews here, on BR. Sadly, it was a waste of both my money and time.
The first time I used it, I had to heat it for a little longer than the instructions said, to get that creamy honey consistency. I've used hat waxes before, I had no issue with application, but this was just refused to remove the hair from my upper lip. I did my toes at the same time and that was 'meh', it removed some of the long hairs but not all.
The next time I used it, I tried doing my legs. What a waste of time! The wax removed every second or third hair, sometimes removing more, some strips came off with absolutely no hairs attached to the wax, they were still on my leg.
One pot of wax later, and have to reheat a couple of times, I still had hairy legs and was so frustrated with this product that I was glad to see the pot go in the bin.
I really wanted to like this product, as I found Nair's Toffee Apple Sugar Wax (with strips) to be quite messy, but after this experience, I'd gladly use the Sugar Wax again.
I definitely won't be purchasing another pot of this wax, and wouldn't recommend it, as I ended up having to use my epilator in the end.
This wax is just like the stuff my beauty therapist uses on me, so as they claim "salon" quality. The tub is easy to heat in the microwave, and any unused wax doesn't go to waste as it just sets solid again ready to be reheated next time. I love the colour, and the scent isn't too bad. It works best when it's at a good hot temperature, and I found it excellent for Bikini and Underarm areas. Let the wax set solid before flicking up an edge to get a grip. Pull skin taught and pull wax away quickly against the direction of hair growth - easy! Be prepared to keep popping back to the microwave to reheat the pot, and remember to stir well to ensure temperature is even throughout. I love this wax and I would definitely buy it again, though would prefer to find it on special!
Tips: Keep reheating the wax as you work, if it's too cool, it just isn't going to be able to do its job
