I brought this mascara because I loved the packaging with the little bit of sparkle and you cannot go wrong with pink and black. This mascara is so easy to use and having the use of two different mascara brushes is a bonus (it took me awhile to work out how there are 'two' different brushes, a bit like magic). My eyelashes only need a couple of coats with this mascara; I use the lengthen brush last as it separates my lashes. This mascara has outlasted my other mascaras. I will definitely repurchase!

Reviews
I used this mascara as a recommendation from a friend and for the first month or so i LOVED it! Created nice big thick long lashes and lasted all day like it actually said it would. Reasonably priced and easy to find at local supermarket and the Warehouse. The only issue I found was that it got clumpy quite easily after awhile and made for a mission to redo eye makeup
Tips: Clean mascara brushes regularly and store properly to avoid too much clumping
I needed to replace my expensive gifted mascara and this is totally my price point. I had used other Rimmel mascara in the past and had thought they were on par with more expensive ones anyway. I liked the concept of the two brushes so thought I would give this a try. All I can say is wow! The brush is really fine, finer than I have come across before and left absolutely no clumps even second coating a bit soon. I have always had clump issues but not now! First coat leaves a really good "day" level and second layer / night brush gets a bit more glam Unlike other cheaper mascara I haven't had smudge or transfer issues I really rate this mascara and for the price point I think it actually blows way more expensive mascaras out of the water.
Tips: Seriously consider trying it over more expensive brands and spend the savings on more treats
So it's like two separate mascaras together: a day one and a night one. The day one creates length, so it's a smaller brush to create a subtly longer look. You can also layer this mascara quickly before it dries without lashes getting clumpy. The spiky brush helps a lot with this I think.
Then you can add the night mascara for a more dramatic look to add volume. I actually like doing this step before lengthening, but some people do it the other way round which is perfectly fine.
I usually use two different mascaras for volumising and for lengthening, so I liked this drugstore mascara's concept a lot! It's really handy for the makeup purse in your bag to not have to carry round two mascaras. I did find that there was a bit of smudging under my eyes at the end of the day if I layered several times, eek! But I have this problem with a lot of mascaras because watery eyes.
The size and concept is so handy though, and the brushes work really well to separate my lashes so as to coat each one individually. I like this a lot! Best of all, it doesn't irritate my eyes, and I wear contacts so that's pretty important.
Tips: Volumise lashes before lengthening. I find it creates a nice effect.
So I brought this on special from someone who was selling rimmel products and decided why not try it out. The actual mascara has a 2 coat apply process which starts with the small brush that lengthens your lashes then the thick brush that thickens your lashes. I felt this left my eye lashes clumpy and looking really messy, its an awesome concept though but I would not use again unless im going for the fake clumpy look.
I was a little mystified by this product when I first saw it as it is unlike any mascara I've ever seen before. However, one day after purchasing it I was completely sold! It's a buildable mascara that is simple to use and has such great functionality. I love that I can go for a bold look or simple look without having to use two different mascaras :)
It's a little difficult to describe how this works. It's as if there are two mascara wands because you can open it in two ways. The volumous option allows for more mascara to stay on the wand as the tube opening is wider and this results in a thicker coat on the lashes. The lengthening option however has to pass through a narrower opening which leaves a fine coating of mascara on the wand and results in a subtle coat on the lashes. While it might seem as through the mascara has two different wands, it really has one wand with two openings that allow for variation in the amount of product left on the wand and transferred to the lashes. Such a great invention!
I'd never found a mascara that really warranted a repurchase until this came along, so glad I found it.
This was my first ever decent mascara and it will certainly, probably be my last, unless they decide to discontinue it and I will protest like a Greenpeace activist.
Yes, that's how much I love this mascara. Why, might you ask? There are so many mascara's in this life and I opt for a "drugstore" one.
Well, firstly, it has two brushes, not two, but they slide into each other - so no, you can't use both at the same time! One's thin and one's thick - for a daytime lengthening look and a nighttime, both lengthening and thickening look.
Secondly, the formula is the best I have ever tried, and I've tried quite a few mascaras in my day. It doesn't smell, it doesn't clump - which is a big no-no in my eyes, and it dries very fast, but you can still layer without the need to worry.
Thirdly, don't you just hate a mascara that smudges the second you touch your eyes? Well, this one doesn't. Rub away, honey, for your mascara will stay put.
I will recommend this to you all with confidence, and I will almost give you a money-back guarantee that's how much I love it. Haha! Note: Not really... I'd love to, but I'm not made of money, nor am I affiliated with them so they'll probably sue me as well. Ooops....
If you can spare $20 buy it and give it a try. It's definitely one of the more affordable options out there and it's definitely one of the best.
Tips: The daytime mascara is perfect for length, but team it up with the nighttime and you have the perfect false-looking lashes! You can layer with confidence, and the more you do, the better the effect gets!
This is a really good mascara for the price. It has two wands one thick and one thin. I found the thin it was best for me to use the thin wand first to apply the mascara and then go over my lashes with the thick wand to add more volume. I did find that this mascara can be a bit clumpy if too much is applied with the thick wand, however its still a great product. The packaging is also really pretty with pink and black coloring.
