Love the packaging. It looks very classy and expensive.

The mask is amazing. I am not sure how often you are supposed to use it but I am using every other night as it makes my skin feel so good.

I like the tingling sensation as you feel your skin actually tightening up.

Once removed my skin feel firmer and smoother.

Highly recommend. Really love it.

Love love love the packaging it was like a golden orb. Probably the most lovely skincare packaging i've ever seen.

Never used a Bee Venom product before so I was very intrigued.

Product smell very slightly florally which was pleasant and now overpowering.

I scooped out a decent amount it has the consistency of thick whipped cream.

I left it on for about 15 minutes and after about 10 minutes your skin gets this gorgeous 'tingle' going on.

I washed it off and my skin just felt amazing, plumped and glowing.

I've heard about how effective Bee Venom face masks, so was excited to give it a try. The golden ball it was packaged made it seem very lux, and a bit mysterious. I found it a bit difficult to read the print on the box and especially on the container. It would have been helpful to have more specific guidance about how frequently to use the mask.

I found the fragrance of the mask pleasant and subtle. The texture was smooth and creamy, and the first time I used it I found the stinging sensation intense but tolerable. Subsequent applications have still tingled, but not to the same intensity.

I decided to use it every second night initially. Since using this product, I've noticed my skin appears smoother and glowing. I've also been complimented about how radiant my skin is.

The price point of this product is on the dearer side for me, but I think that it's a worthwhile investment.

Was lucky again to get to try This Venom Mask, which i was totally surprised with, considering i have mature skin now, and costs a wee bit to upkeep now in our 40's. So was very impressed with the clean packaging. Easy Little pot to open and not make a mess , it has a applicator in box to apply. Applied the Mask to my washed face. the smell and the texture was really nice and liked the thick texture of the mask,, how i would expect a nourishing mask to be, applied nice and even, a very nice constancy, left for 15- 20 minutes and then wash off, was really impressed with how my skin felt and looked, even the next day, this is one i will be purchasing again, and nice it is natural product we can apply to face, so thank you again.

Having never tried bee venom products before, I was intruiged to try this mask. I was half expecting "tourist" type packaging on this product due to the Manuka Honey. With a honeycomb pattern on front, back and top, the bee logo with gold adds a classier touch. Ingredients clearly listed on the side, and great to note this is paraben free. Manuka Honey is listed fourth so that leads me to believe it has a good honey content, not just a token amount. Vitamins A&E always great for skin, I did wonder about the inclusion of menthol however. Opposite side has a blurb about the benefits of bee venom, being anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-aging in skin care, and the stimulation of venom to help circulation to help trigger collagen & elastin. Rear of box has similar directions, and a Patch Test Caution, which would be advisable to follow.

I was quite surprised to open the box to discover a gorgeous two-tone gold, albeit plastic, orb container which gives a beauty luxury effect, with the simple Alpine Silk Logo and description of product along the edge. Comes with a small plastic spatula, which its great to keep the product hygienic in between uses. Unscrewing the top of the orb, a plastic hygiene lid/seal is easily removed to reveal a very thick, rich cream which has a pleasant, slighly honey fragrance. One small scoop of the spatula was more than enough to provide a thick full face coverage. It is very luxuriously thick, and glided on beeutifully. There was quite a strong initial tingle, but this wasn't overly concerning as I had made sure my skin was thorougly cleaned and exfoliated first in order to ensure the best possible results of the mask, so was expecting full delivery. The tingle disappeared after a few minutes. - I tried the mask again 3 days later, without exfoliating first, and the tingle effect was barely noticeable. The mask went from white to opaque within a minute or two. After 15 minutes, I rinsed the mask off, and immediately thought my skin looked plumper, more hydrated and nourished, and stayed this way for a good 2 days. I really liked the feel of the mask on my skin, it was quite cooling, which I think may have been down to that Menthol. Even though it is an incredibly rich mask, my skin didn't suffer any breakouts or clogged pores at all. I will definately enjoy using this mask on a regular basis. It's great to find a mask that really nourishes mid-40's skin.

I was really excited to be chosen to review this product and had to try it as soon as I'd unpacked it from the courier. It came in a gorgeous gold tub and was easy to open. The cream felt smooth in my fingers and glided on to my skin easily. It was a light consistency and I didnt have to use much to get a full face mask going. The instructions said to leave for around 15mins, so I set the timer and continued what I had been doing earlier. My face did feel a little tingly and hot during this time but not enough for me to need to wash it off before my timer had gone off. When my time was up I rinsed it off with warm water and my skin felt lovely and smooth. My cheeks looked a little red but my face felt and looked fresh and definately felt hydrated. I've used this product several times over the course of the trial period and each time the tingling sensation I got seems to be less. Its a lovely mask, I have yet to see my fine lines deminish so I'm hoping the more I use it should see that happening. I am unsure of the price of this product (or where I can get it from), but Im picking it will be quite high-end. However, for a product that would last a long time and actually do what it says it will do, I think I would buy it.

I loved this Face Mask. I used it every second night, slathered it on, lay on my bed listening to relaxing music, then washed it off after around 20 minutes and whalah!

When I first put the mask on my face, it gives the sensation of making the skin feel very cold, so you know its doing something. After about 20 minutes, most of it has soaked into the skin and I used a warm flannel to remove the excess.

My skin was left soooo soft. I found after a few times, I didn't need any night time moisturiser on my face after it. And in the morning my face was still soft and smooth and moisturised. It also gives my face a nice dewy glow in the mornings which I'm loving. The cream is quite thick but easy to apply and smells gorgeous - a slight hint of honey. It comes in a lovely gold round pot/jar. Very classy.

Without a doubt this product works and I will continue to buy it once this pot runs out.

The masks I usually gravitate to are ones that add lots of hydration to my dehydrated skin. What appealed to me about this mask was that it was more focused on adding life to dull and stressed skin. First off the packaging is just beautiful - one of those ones that you keep on the bench. On opening the product itself is a white cream that has a faint but pleasant scent. The consistency isn't heavy - much like a night cream. It took a couple of tries to find the right amount to put on my face and I erred towards a heavier application, leaving it on for between 15-20 minutes each time. It feels cold and the active ingredients feel very slightly tingly around the nose on first application, but soon stopped. It was easy to remove with a warm washcloth. I found that my skin did look visibly brighter after each use and I was very surprised by this. My skin felt smooth and almost lightly exfoliated by the acids in the manuka honey. I was very impressed. It's now part of my routine. I will use this once a week (as I think any more would be a bit too much for the skin). I do think that this is very fairly priced. I have purchased similar sized product, honey based (but for hydration) at the same price point. I recommend this product for people that have stressed and dull skin and need a pick me up (I mean who doesn't?).

A golden ball of luxury, the container has a very high end look both the shape and the color of the container which the gold & white packaging enhances. The first time I tried the product I was possibly used less than I should have as there was very little of the tingling that comes with using bee venom products. If there was a fragrance it was very subtle. It is slightly cold when I first put it on using the little spatula but once it is spread over the skin it warmed up. It is very easy to apply, and although thicker than other masks that I have used it, is feels light and easy to apply. The tingling sensation is unusual but not unpleasant, and seemed to last for the 15 minutes that the mask is on for. The masks goes from white to being pretty invisible during the 15 minutes and I am hoping that all of the goodness of the product is being absorbed into my skin. It is easy to remove using a face cloth, it left my skin feeling lovely without any residue. I think my skin tone texture has improved and looks plumper, and there seems to be a reduction in the fine lines. I will continue to use and if I continue to see the improvements in my skin tone and reduction in lines I would happily purchase this product.

While we were not given a long enough trial period to really put this product to the test even at the initial use you can tell there are active ingredients going to work on your skin.

The container is an appealing gold colour and is ball shaped. The mask is an off white colour and has no real distinguishable smell, rather like an unfragranced cream.

The mask is a thick cream that applies easily. As soon as it was applied I could feel my skin heating up considerably where it was applied. It was not uncomfortable but certainly a reaction with my skin. It also felt tightened where applied. No specific advice was given to avoid the eye area but common sense told me to given the active ingredients the product claims to contain.

Instuctions advise to wash off after 15 minutes, it is easily removed. Once removed my skin then felt cold for a brief period of time, but my cheeks remained pink in colour.

The tight feeling went away once removed and my skin did feel smooth like it had been exfoliated. I folllowed with a night moisturiser and my skin felt very nourished.

This New Zealand made mask is enriched with New Zealand Manuka Honey, Collagen and Vitamins A and E. Given the short trial period I was only able to apply the product a couple of times (given the frequency advice) so I am unable to review it's effect over time but the initial trial was positive and I look forward to contuned use to see results over a month or so.

It is only for this reason I have been unable to review if it did what it said it would and whether I would recommend to a friend, intial results look promising however.
