L'Oreal Age Perfect Cell Renew Revitalising Day Cream - SPF30

My mature skin is prone to dryness, so when it comes to moisturising I need heavy-duty hydration. I tend to go for creams over lotions and I use them generously, which means I look for economical buys.

This comes in the classic L'Oreal packaging - box and pottle. I'm not a massive fan of pottles, but also I'm confident my hands are clean so we'll breeze past the 'sticking my fingers into the cream' issue.

The cream is thick and creamy. It is fragranced, but its an ok scent.

I LOVE that this has SPF 30 in it, perfect for our NZ sun. I didn't notice any 'sunscreen-y-ness' from this cream, it wasn't tacky, it didn't feel greasy and it didn't have that sunscreen smell.

This is a great product, I am enjoying the results of very hydrated skin, that looks much better than before trying.

L’Oreal’s golden box with its black strip houses a sturdy, black jar, its contrasting lid surround and label fittingly in attractive gold. ‘Age Perfect Cell Renew’ says a great deal, as does SPF30 which is a content we all value. Unscrew the lid and a white safety lid is easily removed to reveal a pastel apricot/cream coloured cream which emanates a most delicate enticing aroma with a citrus hint.

After cleansing and serum application, this cream with its perfect texture and weight just glided on to my skin, absorption was almost instant and this allowed for foundation application without delay. My skin felt so soft and fresh, the term ‘revitalising’ certainly was appropriate.

L’Oreal’s Revitalising Day Cream is wonderful for my ageing complexion, its nourishment and glow appealed, and only a finger-tip of product was necessary in each cheek and forehead to generate a lift and feeling of wellbeing. Economical, a joy to use without hassle, here’s a product that will remain in my skin care cupboard in future.

I've been trialling the Age Perfect Cell Renew Day Cream for approx 3 weeks now and can honestly say my skin looks and feels firmer, better hydrated & more radient. L'Oreal is a brand I keep going back to because of its good reputation, price (mid-range) and reliable products that largely do what they say. I don't think they're ground breaking, but worth trying as an everyday affordable brand. I haven't been using the day cream with any other of the recommended regimen - serum, night cream or eye cream. The packaging is classic L'Oreal - outer cardboard & the pottle is dark amber glass with black & gold plastic lid- great to see bigger writing now for older eyes (except for the ingredients)! The orangy beige thick cream is quite perfumed which caused me a bit of pause - what's it covering up? But I got used to it & there were no issues for my sensitive skin, as I find with most of L'Oreal products, and my skin is wonderfully plump & nourished looking. There might have even been an improvement in the wrinkles (less pronounced). The SPF30 is a bonus and essential for any product I use. Yes I'd recommend it. One point off for the perfume.

I really love L'Oreal facial products as a rule and I've tried and used many different moisturisers over the years. This particular day cream is good and has some great antioxidant ingredients, but I find it just a little on the heavy side for a day cream. It does give nice long lasting hydration throughout the day though. I would use it again but prefer a lighter day cream. But big thumbs up for the SPF added!

I found this cream to live up to its hype. My skin certainly felt softer and looked smooth and plump. I adored the fact it had SPF 30 which meant one less product to put on my face. I do believe with longer term use it probably would firm up the skin and renew cells but a trial period isn't long enough to confirm. The reason I wouldn't use it again is only because I think it would be too rich for my skin. It also takes a while to sink in. Having said that I still maintain I love how soft my skin looks and feels . The cream comes in the usual classy little jar and the gold and black packaging makes it look on a par with higher priced brands.

So I received my ( generous size) pottle of Age Perfect Cell renew Revitalizing Day Cream 14 days ago..... and without being ridiculous because we all know 14 days isn't long enough to change the world, I have however seen improvement in my skins texture and glow, and my skin feels so much more hydrated. I love the silky soft texture of the cream and whilst it has a subtle fragrance (I'm not a fan of fragrance unless it smells like something yummy to eat ) it is pleasant, subtle and doesn't linger. My makeup loves it ! No more separation on my foundation and even though I wear a powder you can still see a healthy glow to my skin.... a big bonus to me as I tend to have dull skin. I love the easy pottle.... big lid and easy to open. I love the texture of the product. I love that it has SPF 30 .... bonus. Subtlety fragrance so that's ok. I'm struggling to find negatives so I'll just call it as I see it. A nice product that my skin has benefitted from. Yes I would purchase this product and recommend you try if your looking to brighten and improve the texture of your skin.

I was thrilled to be able to trial this product. As with L’Oréal products I have tried in the past, this one was a pleasure to use. Slightly thicker than previous creams I’ve used from L’Oréal, my skin felt instantly nourished and soft. Haven’t noticed any change in my wrinkles yet but a great product especially formulated for mature skin like mine. The added bonus is SPF 30 to protect against harsh sun along with vitamin E, and we all need that. I would definitely recommend and will purchase in future.

I haven't tried many L'Oreal products before as they are more expensive than my usual brand so I was thrilled to try this moisturiser out. I opened the jar and got a beautiful scent which made me want to use it immediately. I have used this for a day cream in the morning, great that is has the SPF so no need for extra sun screen. The moisturiser is rich and creamy, goes on really nicely. My skin feels hydrated all day with no greasiness. I used it under the sensitive eye area too and got no adverse reaction. My skin is looking and feeling great, a great product, would definately buy this one.

I just love all the L'Oreal face moisturisers, they are reasonably priced and they do a great job. This product is quite creamy and easy to apply, it doesn't get in my eyes and make me cry like a lot of spf products. As its winter I can't test the spf function but I do love that its in a product that I'm happy to apply every morning. Skin still feels hydrated at the end of the day. Attractive packaging and scent as well. Its a big tick from me on this one!
