I was lucky enough to trial this product thank you BR.
It comes in a simple bottle with a cap. Nothing fancy but I've never been one to care too much for packaging, as long as the product works.
It claimes to have no scent which I agree with but since I've used other brands of Micellar Waters in the past, I've realised that they all smell lthe same, like old water (if that makes sense). I don't particularly like it but you get over it.
It has clear instructions on the back. Simply put product onto a cotton pad/ball and wipe over face. Will remove and cleanse skin.
Did it work, yes. I wear a full face of makeup 5-6 days a week for work. It definitely removed it. Some areas needing going over a couple of times. E.g: mascara and eyeliner but that didn't bother me. My face felt clean afterwards and I had no reaction to it.
I would definitely recommend it. It does exactly what other more expensive Micellar Waters do. I won't personally be re purchasing it for myself as I prefer my microfiber cloth but I am going to buy some for my sister who has sensitive skin.
Simple is (in my opinion), a really underrated brand. I had used the Garnier Micellar water and had a nasty reaction to that - so I was a little worried about trying this. However, my worries were unfounded.
I like to use this as a gentle makeup remover. It easily takes off all of my makeup and is gentle enough to use on my sensitive eyes. When I use this my skin doesn't feel sting or turn redder than usual (as it did with the Garnier version). This has no scent and is incredibly gentle, whilst being powerful enough to remove my makeup.
I really love this and the fact that it is so inexpensive means that I will definitely be repurchasing this when my current one runs out. I have also used this as a spot cleanser for my brushes when I have been away for work and it does an amazing job at that, too.
I highly recommend this.
