Rest assured, the product is borderline a miracle worker but after a few hours, it had completely dissolved on my combo skin and reapplying made my makeup move around. It looks incredible for short term use but I need something that will hold up all day, and she isn't it for me.

This product is a fantastic setting powder, it makes my skin look amazing. I use it with Charlotte Tilbury's Airbrush Flawless Foundation. All blemishes, red marks, dark circles etc completely disappear and you do end up with an 'airbrushed' effect.
Tips: Sometimes I just put it on over my moisturiser when I want my skin to look more even but natural, when I don't have time to put on foundation.
This is a fabulous powder that locks makeup in place and gives the skin a soft matte finish without being drying. It has a super silky texture and does not look powdery on the skin. It's ultra blurring and provides a small amount of extra coverage. It lasts all day on my combination skin without the need to touch it up. Love it!
I bought this product the other day and it’s everything I hoped it would be. I use it over a translucent powder as it’s not enough to keep the oils at bay on it’s own. As I’ve hit my 40’s I’m loving finishing powders that give my skin a more natural glow and this is probably the best I’ve tried. It blurs the look of pores and gives a slight glow but in a beautifully subtle way. The packaging is very elegant and has a decent sized mirror. The only thing I don’t love is how little you get in the pan for the price. I feel like I will go through this fairly quickly if I use it everyday otherwise I would have given it 5 stars because it really is a stunning product. It looks great over bare skin on more natural days too.
Tips: Use a soft brush to apply it and you won’t pick up too much product.
If you have dry skin and find normal loose setting powders make you look crapey or cakey - this is the powder for you. I had a hard time finding something that would work both under my eyes and on my face but this is the one. It gives a nice blurred, radiant look on the skin while being undetectable. I can tell I will go through this quite fast though and it is rather expensive but I will definitely repurchase.
This is a beautiful finishing powder. It creates a blurring effect to the skin and helps to blend everything together. I tend to either use this or the Hourglass ambient lighting powder. The only downfalls are the price and that I don't believe you can purchase in NZ (I purchased on Beautylish). Also if you used very frequently you will hit pan
Despite the limited shades I decided to take a chance after watching a number of chocolate beauties on Youtube using shade Medium (2) which I bought from Beautylish for $45USD. I had a moment of panic when I saw how light the Medium shade was but it's now one of my favourite powders.
As much as I love the packaging of a mirrored gold compact, I find it falls short since it's ultimately pretty plastic. The powder feels velvety smooth when swatched but I was a little concerned when I had to put a bit of effort when blending into my chocolate skin. Not to fear because a swatch is different to the wonders of a semi dense powder brush!
I love this as a finishing powder which reminds me very much of the Hourglass Ambient powders. The powder blends beautifully into my face paint and doesn't add any noticeable pigment or come off as too ashy. You can build up the layers without looking cakey and your makeup still looks and feels lightweight. My favourite part is that it doesn't settle into my smile lines.
In terms of a setting powder, the performance is average which I put down to my oily skin but it's not a deal breaker for me because my makeup tends to hold up for a good 5 hours. Price-wise it's comparable to the Hourglass Ambient powders (8g CT approx $NZD60+ vs 10g Hourglass $NZD$72) it's just unfortunate that the compacts are plastic and the brands don't offer refillable pans. I would repurchase this item and I'd probably consider the shade Dark (3) as well even though I'm quite happy with Medium.
Well I don't know where to start with this product all I know is it's simply amazing.
I wanted to do a Beautylish order and had wanted this for a while since I had heard how great it was for dry skin. I have dry skin and anything matte, any kind of setting powder and some highlighters show just how dry my skin is and makes my lines look 10 times worse.
This packaging is true Charlotte Tilbury, classy. The mirrored gold coloured compact looks pretty in my collection it's about the size of my palm with the Charlotte tilbury logo stamped on the lid. I open the lid and there is a decent size mirror on the inside. This comes in 3 shades fair, medium and dark. My skin is usually NC 35-37 so opted for the medium shade.
At first look of the powder I was underwhelmed it just looks so.... Plain! Just a light coloured powder with a slight yellow undertone. I even double checked that I had brought this in medium because it looked so light.
After applying nude magique foundation I grab my fluffy RT powder brush and swirl around the compact twice, looked at the brush and didn't think there was enough of the powder on the brush but swept it over my face anyway. I took a step back from the mirror looked at my face took a step closer to the mirror looked at my skin again then gasped and really examined my skin. For the first time in... Probably forever, my face and skin looked flawless it was pretty much a miracle. My pores looked smaller, my lines didn't look like mahoosive cracks and my face didn't look dry. All from this what I thought was a tiny amount of powder. It is such a fine powder and you honestly only need the 2 swirls around the compact to cover your face.
This definitely is a setting powder and not a powder foundation. This seemed really expensive and a bit of a luxury at the time, but now that I have used it almost every day since it arrived 10 days ago I can honestly see it lasting for a very long time. I can't imagine doing my makeup without this powder now.
I am currently on my second compact of the Charlotte Tilbury Air Brush Flawless Finish powder, it is one of my holy grail products, it is the best powder I have ever tried and I highly recommend it!
[my skin profile] - combination to oily, NC25, usually light to medium foundation / BB cream shades, uneven skin tones in the morning, large pores on nose, usual blemishes here and there.
[shade] - 2 Medium is the perfect shade for me, not too dark, nor too light; finally a powder shade that match my neck. heheh ^-^
[product packaging] - beautiful, mirror effect, slim and sleek, it has that high-end luxury feel. easy to carry around, travel friendly.
[pricing] - crazy expensive, but worth every penny every time I think of how good quality the powder is and how well it performs on oily skin. I buy the powder either from Beautylish or Nordstrom, retails at USD $45.00, approximately NZD $67.00.
[what I love] - blurs imperfections, poreless and absolutely flawless skin, feels lightweight, looks translucent when worn without foundation (perfect for those no makeup, but needs a little pick-me-up days), looks like a supermodel when worn over foundation (so smooth and soft). in the summer, on a humid day, the T-zone does get a little oily during the day, I wear glasses on a daily basis and it’s normal for some of the powder to rub off around my nose, it does the same when wearing this powder, but it’s not obvious. overall the powder keeps my makeup in place for more than eight hours and it takes approximately six months to hit pan with everyday use.
Tips: swirl the powder twice with a large and fluffy powder blush, it's enough to cover the whole face for the flawless look, you really don't need a lot.
I use either the Real Techniques Powder Brush or the Sigma F30 Large Powder Brush.
I was really dissapointed by how cakey and drying this powder was even paired with her other products. I found it was a good size for the price but it felt so heavy on my face and didn't give the airbrush effect it was advertised to have
Tips: Less is more
