I like the high SPF on this foundation - rather than the somewhat pointless "SPF15" that you see on other products! I use 3W1 which works for my neutral/cool medium olive skin tone. Buildable cover, dewy finish. Doesn't accentuate my dry spots as much as some other foundations I've tried but doesn't really hide them either.

I feel bad giving such a low rating to this product... It's not that it's bad, it just doesn't work for my skin. I'm a double wear lover but sometimes it can look a little cakey so I thought I'd try this product as it was recommended for mature skin (I'm 47) Easy to match if you already know your double wear shade. I actually found my shade in this formula was a little better suited to me!
The tube has a little pump at the top for ease of product distribution and it's nice that it's included. I didn't find the coverage to be full as described, more of a medium coverage on my skin but that's probably me again as I have quite red skin that can be hard to cover.
The reason I don't recommend is that it's best suited to dry skin and isn't as long lasting as double wear. I found I had to add finishing powder to ensure it didn't look wet. Yes wet, not just dewy, it's not a look that I enjoy. I found it settled into my fine lines as it was so liquid. I applied it with a stippling brush and normally get really good results. The last point I found annoying was that it wasn't as transfer resistant as I'm used to.
Tips: Recommend for anyone with dry skin that doesn't need a foundation that lasts approx 8 hours
As we get older - less is more when it comes to make-up foundation. This is my top pick for every day use foundation when you want a natural look or to feel like you're not wearing foundation at all.
Tips: Apply after-eye concealer, sparingly with a damp beauty sponge or brush to get an even finer, even application. You can then layer further over areas where necessary, contour and set with a light powder or bronzer as required. The SPF 45 is the bonus as sun protection is a must.
This foundation is so underrated! It seriously delivers on everything it claims. I have really dry skin and it doesn’t sink into my fine lines or dry patches and really makes me GLOW! It almost feels like a moisturiser for my skin but still gives me all the coverage I could need. I find 1 pump is enough (YES, it comes with a built in pump!!!) for everyday wear but for nights out or when I’m wanting more coverage I will use an extra pump and it builds beautifully. It also truly does have a long-wear and looks close to flawless still by the end of the day - with or without primer which is a huge plus (no more spending i necessary money on primer!) and won’t slip around on your face. The only slight negative for this foundation is that it’s quite pricey ($92) but with how highly this foundation delivers it’s honestly worth the splurge!
Tips: Apply with a wet beauty blender for day time or a brush for more full coverage night time looks!
This product delivers everything it says it does. Great coverage, leaving a lovely moisturised feeling. Also has an Spf of 45 so feel well protected.
Tips: Apply with a brush for a better finish.
Amazing coverage. Light weight but a full coverage. Leaves skin looking and feeling hydrated. Not a Matt finish.
Tips: Apply with a brush for a better coverage.
I am loving this lighter, fresher approach with some of the Double Wear benefits. I have mature combination skin, with very dry areas and high sensitivity.
The product comes in a tube that has a dispenser already on it (unlike Double Wear!) so its easy to dispense the small amount needed for a light coverage. It is much more liquid than Double Wear, so slightly runny rather than creamy. It doesn't really have a fragrance that I could detect, and it applies very easily with a damp beauty blender or fingers. I found that just one pump was more than enough to cover my full face, and only a small squeeze more was required to cover my cheeks which have a bit of pigmentation on them (or I could have used a concealer but I found the texture of this is just so lovely that I preferred a dot more). It does have a dewy finish which I quite like for shorter trips out, but as I am most often looking for day-long wear I did use a powder to set my T-zone. I found it really stayed the distance without breaking up or settling into lines and wrinkles.
The SPF is a bonus for day time wear, but it does provide a bit of flashback if you are wearing it in photos at evening functions.
Its not the cheapest out there but it certainly feels good on your skin and has a good long lasting coverage, and after a month of using it almost daily I haven't found my skin drying out which does happen with other foundations I have tried.
Tips: Start with just one pump and build if required.
Feels so great on my skin, glides on and makes my skin feel so soft and hydrated yet not tacky. It does exactly what it should and works well with double wear and gives me a much nicer application
Tips: Wash your face first and dry it properly before applying this primer. Leave it a few minutes before applying the foundation as it gives it time to settle on the skin and stops the foundation becoming uneven on the skin
