I am normally a fond user of the LUSH lip scrub, however since trying out this one after my friend brought it back from USA for me i am hooked!
It has such a nice feel when you rub it on your lips, I love the feeling of it ( weirdly maybe ) It is handy to keep in my handbag and also works so well! I have an issue with dry inner lips and it exfoliates them perfectly to stop my matte liquid lipsticks from drying and peeling!!!!!!
I love this scrub. It is easy to use and it leaves my lips so soft and smooth, It is nicer to apply lipstick after using it.
One of my favourites!! It is probably just as good as the lush lip scrubs that are around. It makes matte lipstick so much easier to apply and even helps in avoiding dryness, peeling and bleeding.
While I have shopped at Mecca Cosmetica before this was the first actual product from their own brand I have tried. For years I have suffered from severely dry, cracked lips. I have quite sensitive skin so I am cautious of new products. I tested this in store when I was up in Christchurch and decided to give it a go.
I apply this by using a slightly wet finger I then rub it in with a circular motion. I then allow the lip scrub to settle on my lips by leaving it on (like you would with a facial mask). I have to resist licking the product of. The sugar granules eventually dissolve leaving you with a lovely olive oil type feel on your lips. This lip exfoliant does what it says, lips are softer, smoother and kissable. It keeps lips moisturised longer then any other lip exfoliant I have used. The tube is small at only 15mls so it will be interesting to see how long it last. I use it twice a day when my lips are really bad.
This is more expensive compared to the lush lip exfoliant at $26 but I don't find its texture as harsh on my lips.
Tips: If you are going to use this as a lip primer you would need to wipe away the sugar granules before applying your lipgloss/stick otherwise leave them on for extra moisture.
