Wet n Wild Colour Icon Bronzer

With summer comes the need to find the perfect shade of bronze and I'm pretty happy with Wet and Wild's Colour Icon bronzer.

Unlike the image, the one I've got comes in a rectangular compact with a fern embossed into it, which I think looks nice a summery.

I think the shade I have is 'Sunset Striptease'. It's a nice medium brown with a little shimmer but not so much that it feels like a highlighter.

The bronzer looks fantastic on my skin and isn't too heavy. It could last a little longer on the skin, but overall is pretty good.

I also love that it's cruelty free.

I really wanted to try the reserve your cabana but can not find it anywhere as I had heard amazing stuff about but I did find the ticket to Brazil and I got to say I don't love it its just very glittery the shade is a bit dark for me I have light skin tone but thats my fault not the product I really wanted to love this I just don't like the glitter I just wanted the sheen :( reading through the comments I did see that someone suggested using on the body so I may try that this summer so I dont waste it

I have this 'bronzer' in the shade 'Reserve your Cabana'. This isn't actually a bronzer, it's a beautiful highlight shade. I'd seen a few people on youtube talk about it and so I decided that I needed to try it out for myself.

Being wet n wild, of course this product is really cheap to purchase. Also you get a massive amount of product, this compact has 13gms of product in it. I can't actually ever imagine using this up. Unfortunately, my powder broke in transit. I'm not sure if this was because of it not being packaged properly or that the powder is easily susceptible to being broken, regardless, I didn't want to waste it so I decided to repress it so I could use it.

The packaging isn't super flash. It's just a large circular bronze coloured base with a plastic, clear lid. It looks kind of cheap looking but it's not the worst out there.

When you open this up to look at the product, you just see a beautiful, champagne glow. It's not glittery , it just has a really nice sheen to it. I find the powder really soft and easy to blend without being powdery, of course me repressing it could have changed the consistency a bit. When you swatch this, it is quite pigmented but on your skin applied with a brush, just gives you a soft glow. You could pretty much bathe your face in this and you won't look ott. If you like highlighters that you can see from the moon, this wouldn't be for you. This is a more natural, day time appropriate highlight. I think this would work well for all light to medium skintones too. Possibly even darker but I'm not 100% sure on that. This even has spf in it which kind of makes me want to bathe my face in it even more!

I definitely recommend this product. It's a pretty much fail-proof highlight so also great for beginners or the heavy handed!

The product itself is pretty good. There's good pigmentation however it's extremely powedery. There's a tonne of fall out. If you weren't careful opening the product you might get a handful of glittery powder falling out. In saying that, the highlight is gives is pretty great. Not chunky, has a nice finish. It's not easiest to blend but it can be worked with. Overall good highlight.

You get some much product for the price like WOW!! This is a really awesome product.

I have this in the colour 'reserve your cabana' which actually isn't a bronzer it's actually more of a highlighter and it's pretty amazing! It has a little shimmer but not too much and doesn't have any chunky glitter.

I used to have the colour ticket to Brazil too which was quite warm/orange. Didn't work for contouring but worked for overall bronzing really good for body too. WARNING: the reason I don't have this anymore is because these break really easily!! as they are so soft they break so easily so ensure you're careful. I only need to drop it once not even from that high either.

Pigmentation: these are super pigmented :D

Overall I really like this product! I will definitely buy more!

I brought this on a whim when I did a big online order, I got the shade Reserve Your Cabana - which is definitely a highlighter not a bronzer. It is the perfect highlighter for my oily skin, it has NO glitter or shimmer in it, it just gives gorgeous natural glow/sheen to the skin which looks beautiful! It's a golden champagne colour and would look good on so many skin tones. It comes in a HUGE compact and only costs around $6 NZD online. I am completely smitten with this product and so glad I took a chance on it.
