essano French Pear & Vanilla Candle Review

Love this but quite expensive for normal retail price. I picked mine up on special for $15 at countdown for the large candle. Smells delicious, more of a sweet pear scent. I have it lit in my room for a bit and it gives such a nice feel which helps me wind down and feel relax and read a mag. Will be trying the others too.

These candles are affordable, cruelty free, vegan, beautifully made and are available at the supermarket.

Everything has been well thoughtout from using natural ingredients to the design.

This is a nice candle as its not too over powering. It's leaves a lingering scent which resemble more of a spicy french pear. I couldn't really tell if it had vanilla in it unfortunately which was a reason I brought it in the first place. I personally wouldn't repurchase this particularly scent again as I prefer sweet pea and white orchid in the range.

There are three fragrant candles in this range and I love them all! They are made from soy which is the best being natural. They burn well and last as claimed.

The French Pear and Vanilla is delightful which is my favourite in the range. The scent is more intense than the others and has staying power. There are two sizes in the range and reed diffusers in a matching scent. You can easily open in the supermarket to make your choice. These are classy candles at a realistic price. You don't need to burn them long to fill the room with their lovely scent

I'm not in love with the Essano candles. I feel like they have missed the mark a little, focusing on intense versions of what could be lovely scents.

The packaging is classy and the candles definitely don't look 'supermarket-y', which is nice. The price point is very reasonable.

This French Pear i find very sweet, bordering on aggressively so. It does fade to a nice background scent, but it's a bit much for me when first lit. I don't get the vanilla as strongly as the pear - I was hoping that one would temper the other.

Still, not a bad option for if you can't get to the candle store!

These candles look and smell very similar to another well-known, very pricey brand but in my opinion, they are much better. I often can't detect the smell of candles when they are burning. The scent of these candles is quite overpowering when unlit and some might even find them cloying.This however pays off when they are lit - give a really good ‘throw’ when burning. They also last a long time as I only have to burn them for a short time to fill the room with fragrance. I would definitely buy these again as they are good value for money and can easily be picked up in the supermarket. They also look good as they come in a frosted glass container which could easily be repurposed.

I absolutely love scented candles, so when I saw this on special at countdown I decided I must try it. The candle comes in a beautiful pink and green box and is in a frosted glass container.

The scent is so define! Very fresh and delicious. It is quite strong and I can even smell it without being lit. I like walking in after a hard day at work and smelling this. It burns well and evenly, I usually burn it for an hour at a time.

I am looking forward to trying other scents in this range. This would also make a beautiful, affordable gift. Another great Essano product.

I've lately really been enjoying the Essano range of candles and diffusers. The French Pear & Vanilla scent is lovely, perfect for almost any room of the house. It's definitely one of the stronger scents in the range, although that said it still wasn't as strong as I would have liked it to be! The scent is lovely and fresh, and the candle itself comes boxed in the most gorgeous packaging. The frosted glass-style glass is really pretty, and I love that the wax itself is soy and not harmful to breath the fumes from. Smells lovely, burns cleanly. My only critique would be that it doesn't put out as cleanly as other candles - there's quite a bit of smoke. But no biggie at all!
