essano Weightless Moisture Shampoo

I’m all for anything coconut at the moment and the smell of this is delish I’m loving the coconut and pawpaw scent.

I really liked the pretty pink bottles i found a lot nicer then the usual shape bottles. The round seemed to fit the hand better.

I found the white shampoo made my hair feel amazing while it was in but as soon as it was rinsed out it felt dry and straw like the condition may have helped improve it. As once it was dried it felt a lot nicer.

The more I have used this product the less results I noticed. I like the scent and it makes a great body wash.

I received this in Beauty Review’s original “You won’t believe it is hair” box, which has since sold out. I have been using it for about 4 months.

The shampoo comes in Essano’s traditional rose-pink packaging. The lid is black, and “Coconut” is written in silver around the bottom. The bottle contains 300ml. The product is free from sulphates, parabens, and animal testing, in addition to other chemicals. The product itself is white with a pearly sheen.

One palmful of the shampoo is enough to clean my shoulder-length hair. The product is mildly scented, and smells like coconut, but is not overpowering. My hair feels nice and soft after using this, however, it does not feel especially moisturised. I have very dry hair, so I guess it would take quite a powerful shampoo to inject it with some moisture. My hair is very fine and flat as well, and this shampoo allows it to retain some volume after washing.

There are a couple of drawbacks with this shampoo: I found it hard to work into a lather, and that is probably because it is sulphate free. The other problem is the design of the lid. It has a big, flat lid, which is great for standing the bottle on its head when the product is getting low. However, the bottle has a very small nozzle, which makes it difficult to squeeze the shampoo out in the first place.

Altogether, this is a decent shampoo that is a good option if you are looking for a natural, cruelty free and affordable shampoo.

I used to love how clean this shampoo made my hair feel HOWEVER I have found that it was the cause of my hair becoming super frizzy/dry.

I have pin straight hair that sometime tends to get oily and I was trying to stick to a sulphate free shampoo but honestly my hair was always super stringy and flat.

Since stopping use of the product my hair has returned to a glossier healthy finish.

For the price point you are better off with something else.

I'm not sure about this shampoo - it's okay.

I like the colour of the packaging, and I like the idea of a coconut milk hydrating shampoo (my lengths are rather dry and I'm prone to frizz so hydration's a good thing)... but it just doesn't do it for me.

The scent reminds me of baby sick and I don't find my hair any more hydrated. It does clean it though, which is why I don't dislike it - I just wouldn't reach for it.

It has become the shampoo I keep for when I run out of shampoo and have forgotten to buy some in the groceries.

Would I recommend it? Not so much. It's not the worst, but it's not a wow, especially when considering the price.

I received this product in the BBBE You Won't Believe It's Hair box and have been using it for almost 3 months. I have used a couple of Essano products now and had high expectations for this product.

Like the rest of the Essano brand the packaging is a gorgeous rose pink. The smell is beautiful like a bouquet of flowers. I like the smell and don't find it overpowering.

Results: I found it just okay. This shampoo was no where near as hydrating as I expected it to be though I must say it is summer and probably didn't help. I wonder if this would have been better to use in a different season. My hair is slightly softer, just not as soft or smooth as a previous shampoo of a different brand I was using before trying this one. I also had a bit of a reaction to this shampoo, which is unusal as I know I have used another Essano Shampoo in the past and had no reaction to it.

All in all though I won't be repurchasing this.

Sad that in this day and age I want amazing products every time so when it literally does what it says I kind of feel unimpressed. We are quick to say when they don't meet your requirements but this is a good example of a mid product doing a mid job. It was well priced but clearly it is not a salon product so you don't get a salon result. I liked the fragrance of the shampoo - but I like coconut and it said it was coconut :-) It was not too heavy and didn't leave my hair feeling stripped. A good reliable product. I admit it was over the summer in humidity I was using this product which is notoriously a hard time for shampoo so I was quite generous with my ratings as honestly it did not disappoint

The results were fantastic - left my hair soft, silky and smelling delightful! (actually took my back to my holiday in Samoa). The coconut and pawpaw is not only a great combination to help the condition and hydration of your hair, but also smells divine!

I had seen it under the "new products" at the supermarket when it first came out, and I just had to try it - glad I had made the sacrifice of that amount. Although you will notice it on sale often at the local supermarkets.

My hair is very long, normally rather dry and lifeless, but when I had bought this shampoo, it made a dramatic difference! Very clean, soft, full of bounce and volume, easy to maintain and smelling great!

Easy to spot on the shelves, as most Essano products are in simple yet cute pink bottles. Easy to dispense product, and even with the large amount of shampoo I need to wash my long hair, the bottle lasted for a fair while.

If you're wanting great hydration for your hair... look no further! I will definitely be repurchasing.

I bought this shampoo and the conditioner at the supermarket after feeling my hair was dry and dull. It had been through a few colouring sessions as well, so it was needing some moisture. I had wanted to try this shampoo for a while and it was on special at the supermarket so I got it.

The bottle/packaging is lovely. Shampoo comes out relatively easy just squeezing the bottle. The thing you notice the most is the amazingly scrummy coconut scent from the shampoo - it's gorgeous. It didn't feel over drying or knotty when shampooing with this product. Any styling product is easily washed out, and you come out of the shower and you hair still smells of the lovely coconut scent (enhanced if you use the coconut conditioner with it!)

I really love this shampoo/conditioner, and will likely stick with it

I was excited to receive this in the 'I can't believe it's hair 2' beauty box. I love anything coconut and had been eyeing this up at the supermarket. The price is a little steep at $16 but I would buy it if it was on special.

It comes in a cute pink bottle which I think is gorgeous packaging. The lid is one where you push down on one side and the other side pops up. My gripe with the bottle is it is so hard to get the shampoo out as you get half way through it so you have to bang it upside down which is really annoying. The plastic bottle is just too hard to squeeze. It would be great if they could change this.

The shampoo itself is gorgeous on my hair. It makes it feel so clean and the smell is delicious. It does not lather heaps like other shampoos I have used, you don't need a lot and I feel a little goes a long way. It washes out easily. I love that the smell lingers. It smells fresh and clean. I feel like it helps my hair stay cleaner for longer also.I use this in conjunction with the matching conditioner and they are a great combo. I hope they sort the bottle issue out as that is the only downside.

I love the Essano products and this shampoo is no exception. Lovely pink packaging like all their other products. The shampoo lathers well and leaves my hair feeling lovely and clean. And the smell!!!! I LOVE all things coconut and this certainly has a beautiful scent.
