Bio Oil

I was recommended by a friend to try bio oil to help combat ingrown hairs. We had both been recommended a product by our beauty therapist but found this didn't work so well and was very chemically. Bio oil works a treat!! less ingrown's and if you do get them much easier to get out.

I used Bio Oil for my first pregnancy and came through with barely any stretch marks. On my second pregnancy used Bio Oil for awhile until it ran out and then just used a really rich moisturiser and at the end also barley had a mark. Not sure after using both whether Bio Oil is any better than a good old moisturiser - think maybe the answer is just keeping your skin moist and supple while is continually stretching.

I used bio oil religiously while pregnant on my tummy to hep avoid stretch marks. Came out the other side of pregnancy with no major stretch marks and fully believe it was due to bio oil use I also use it on dry skin spot of myself and by toddler. Love this product as it is doesn't leave a too oily residue (even though it is an oil) it also doesn't have an odour either. Only thing is that it isn't cheap, would love it to be a little more cost friendly.

I brought a small bottle of this because it was selling cheap as I have 'hole' scars all over the top of my forehead from acne. I used this every night after cleansing because it left my skin to oily for under make up etc. After a few months of use I gave up because it didn't make any difference to my scars. Friends and family have told me it's great but it just wasn't for me.

I bought a small bottle of Bio Oil because I heard it works wonders on scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, dehydrated skin and god knows what else. It seemed like a miracle product! I've nearly used the whole bottle now on the uneven skin tone on my arms and stomach area, and I can see a small difference, though not much. It does moisturise your skin alright, though I'm not particularly fond of massaging that oil in, and if you wanted this just for dehydrated skin, you would be so much better off with an actual moisturizer from Nivea or something. I will try another bottle to see if there will be more effect, but I recommend you try a product that specializes in whatever you're trying to fix.

i used this for scaring and stretch marks i didn't notice much of a change. it moisturized my skin well but it didn't do what i hoped it would. im still looking for a good product to get rid of scaring

Through puberty I got some wicked stretch marks on my breast when I went from A to D in what felt like overnight. I used bio oil as directed and although it took a few months they lightened and now are practically invisible. This product is really good and I still use it.

I used this as soon as my scar healed from a knee reconstruction and they say this is best used with a fresh scar and sadly it didnt help at all for me so i dont use this anymore

I saw many ads and reviews on how bio oil can help reduce or even fade away scars and stretchmarks, i went thru 2 medium sized bottles and only noticed that my stretchmarks felt smoother but nothing else happened. I wont be buying bio oil again as it didnt work for me.

I used it all throughout my pregnancy to try prevent stretch marks and a while after, it did nothing, I actually regret buying it, I thought that seeing as it cost a bit you would be paying for what you got.. I guessed wrong
