I like how you don't get streaks or tan lines, and you don't need to wait for it to dry. makes your skin feel good too, take a couple of days to build your tan though and you need to keep applying it everyday.

I'm someone who has fairly pale skin and a keen eye for anything orange. With my skin tone it didn't turn out as 'brown' as i would have hoped but it left my legs feeling really supple and hydrated (this is coming from one who deals with extremely dry legs 24/7!)
Tips: id recommend this to anyone with a naturally more tan complexion who is just wanting that hint of sun!
The difficulty with this is that you apply it to the areas you want tanned like a moisturiser, and then the tan shows up the next day. For me this meant that I would end up with a really nice realistic looking tan that I would have to scrub off because I would miss one spot. I'm pretty pale and the tan usually ended up looking nice but it was pretty hit and miss for me whether it would be even or not, especially when blending around ankles, I always ended up with orange ankles and tanned legs. This does a nice job of moisturizing skin as well.
Tips: Exfoliate your skin before apply as this goes orange on dry skin. And scrub your hands to prevent them from getting tanned too! Apply after you have showered.
I asked my mum to get me some fake tan from the pharmacy and she came back with this. I tried it and although the first two days I didn't notice much of a diffrence by the third I could see it starting to build a gradual tan. I get psoriasis on my legs and it comes and goes. At the moment I've got a bit on my legs and because we are coming into summer I need to take some of the white glare off them from being in pants all winter. I put it straight overtop of my moisturizer after exfoiliating in the shower and 3 days later I have the glow and no extra irritation to my psoriasis! I use the fair one because I am really pale. It's better than other tanners I've tried because it's so gradual I don't end up going orange! I will definitely keep using this for summers to come. It's affordable and gentle and it works well with my skin!
Tips: Exfoliate before using. Wash hands after applying. Don't apply straight to the knees or ankles- I normally use a little of the excess from my calves and shins and work down to my feet. Just so I don't get that patchy buildup in those areas. Use everyday until you have the level of tan desired then apply every 2-3 days. Don't forget to exfoliate eveey few daysto stop It going patchy.
This is a lovely moisturiser and works well as a Moisuriser it’s also great at gradually building up your tan.although you do have to be careful around the knees, ankles etc as they tend to darken quicker. The only thing I didn’t like was the smell of the Dove in fact I had someone comment and ask if I was using it as they could smell it, put me off a little
Tips: Don’t put too much on
I have super pale skin - in fact mu legs look like they belong on a dead person! So I use this religiously nearing the end of spring to take he edge off and develop a good colour by the time bare legs and arms and required.
This is a bargain when on special at the supermaket (under $5!) and works so well. It doesnt go orange or smell like fake tan at all. The only problem I have with it is after using it for a while, it starts faking off my skin leaving darker patches, so I then have to exfoliate it all off and start fresh.
Moisturises well too, and leaves my skin soft and glowing.
Tips: Avoid overdoing ankles, elbows and belly buttons!
I bought this to use as my in between tanner and to top up my usual bondi sands tan. I got it in shade light to medium as i dont like a dark looking tan, im naturally super pale so anything too dark just looks silly on me! I found that even after one application it gave me a noticably darker tan, not orange though it looks super natural! I apply this with my le tan tanning mit(if you havent got one invest in one, seriously theyre so worth it!) Only down side to this is that fake tan smell.
I'm about as fair skinned as they come and struggle to tan without burning and simply damaging my skin in the sun. Even still...I don't want to scare people including myself out on the beach with my reflective pale complexion (have your sunglasses at the ready!) This stuff is a life saver. It has been a staple in my cupboard for a few years now and I love it more every year. It builds a natural looking tan that lasts without giving you that undesirable shade of 'fake orange' some people get. If you're looking to add colour to fair skin or boost colour on already tanned skin this is for you!
Update 01/03/2015
After trying a couple of other tanning products this summer I've learned that this product isn't the miracle worker I thought it was a miracle worker...compared with other products this does in fact leave my skin looking too fake and orangey, and even when applied lightly with a mitt I've had streaks and an overall uneven looking application. It doesn't colour my legs as well as others have, and the colour doesn't last very long - it's as if the colour builds for two days then just stops. The lingering scent is a little hit or miss too. The only thing I've used it for this summer is to occasionally help moisturise and maintain the colour achieved from other products. Even then there was no mistaking the orangey yellow tint it gave my skin. I had to remove three lippies - one for each criteria; whether it did what it said it would and whether or not I would use it again and one for whether I would refer it to a friend. It's a good product if you're looking to start experimenting with fake tanning but don't be afraid to branch out and try something else too, there are much better products out there.
Tips: Improve the finish by using a tanning mitt to help buff it into your skin and avoid streaking. I picked up a cheap one from Kmart!
I love using a gradual tanner year round to top up my tan in Summer, and keep my skin looking sun-kissed throughout the Winter. Dove Summer Glow is an affordable, no fuss gradual tanner that delivers great colour and moisturises my skin. Most recently I have been using the medium to dark version, and although I wouldn’t class myself as dark (especially coming into Winter), the colour has been looking quite natural, as long as I don’t use it every day. On days that I do use it, I apply the same amount that I would apply a normal moisturiser. Sometimes I do notice darker patches around my ankles/wrists, but they are not overly noticeable and I just substitute a normal moisturiser for the next few days. The scent isn’t my favourite, but it doesn’t seem to linger too long, and I have never noticed the product staining my hands or any clothing/towels - and I apply clothes straight after applying the product. Overall the product is reliable and great value for money.
Tips: Wash hands after applying - every time!
Love this moisturizer/tanning lotion. Would highly recommend. Made my skin feel lovely and soft and also gave a nice light tan and it smells yummy. I use this all the time and the tan seems to last for ages
