I received this in a Beauty Box. I had not tried ampoules before, so I was interested in giving them a go.
The ampoules come in a light purple cardboard box. There is a cut-out in the shape of one of the ampoules on the lid, so you can see the capsules laid out in the tray underneath. Inside there are 7 ampoules for the 7-day course. They contain “pure hyaluronic acid + vitamin B5” and claim to replump the skin. The ampoules themselves are small bottle-shaped containers made of purple plastic. They are 1.3mls each.
There is a three-step instruction guide on the inside of the box about how to apply them. First you need to flick the cap to make all the product land in the bottom of the ampoule, then you just snap off the cap, and finally you pour the contents into your palm and then apply it to your face and neck.
The contents of each ampoule is a clear liquid, with no detectable scent. It is quite runny but easy to apply. There is more product than needed inside. I found I had enough to cover my face and neck, but still had some leftover, so I reapplied it again. The product takes a couple of minutes to absorb, and then after that you need to apply your regular moisturiser. I applied the ampoules at night, so I followed them with my night cream.
So did it work? After the seven days were up, I found that my skin was feeling very soft, smooth, moisturised and plump. I like how it looks, and I think the ampoules have had a noticeable effect. They are a little on the expensive side, so I am not sure if I will repurchase them, but I think they are worth using if you have the funds.
I got this In the last beauty vault, I’m not sure if I would buy it myself. Not because I didn’t like it but because I found half the product got stuck in the top nozzle and I couldn’t get it out, seemed like a waste. It did improve my skin complexion and I really liked it I think the packaging needs to be improved and I would incorporate this into my skin care plan.
