Garnier has impressed me this time with this cleansing water, its packaging is simple, very flexible , meaning less waste in landfills, on a downside the lid, has the ability to be opened in transit, or in yor bag if you are going away. The product has a water type appearance, is clear with a watery touch, one could almost mistake it for water as such, no smell no perfume and no residual feel on your hands or face, on application the product removes impurities from skin without having the need to rinse off, it did have some trouble with makeup but that was easily dealt with by using a second application, It certainly left my skin feeling fresh, and clear, in regard to acne it would need further use to see if it reduces. Overall the product is value for money providing a new way of removing makeup, t

Tips: The product likeness to water can be mistaken by children thinking its drinkable (under 5) I sugfest store it well away from reach.
I'd read about micellar water and must admit I was a little dubious but jumped at the chance to try it.
Firstly I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the bottle and jumped to the conclusion that meant you need a lot of it - the first night proved me wrong! The packaging is bright and modern and simple. The top is sturdy but easy to open and the size of the hole is perfect - it makes it impossible to use too much!
I also thought it would smell but it really doesn't - maybe only a tiny bit but it's very pleasant.
The consistency is as expected - watery but is nice to use. My skin can break out at almost anything but even after a week my skin is still clear (very happy).
It claimed that you don't have to rub to remove make up and I initially didn't find this to be correct - I did have to rub to remove my mascara, but it did remove it very well and I didn't have to runrub as hard as with my normal cleanser. I realised on about day 3 that if you use it like nail varnish remover (hold and wipe) it made a huge difference.
My skin has been clean and soft - so soft that when I realised at 10am that I'd forgotten to put my moisteriser on I touched my face and was amazed to see how soft it still was!
If this really is $13 for this size bottle when it comes onto the market, I'll be a definite convert!
Thank you for the opportunity to review this product. First of all, I love the size of the cleanser and the price. I think it's great value for money. Overall the packaging is simple but effective. There was no noticeable smell which was great and it was lovely and non irritating on my face. I found it quick and easy to use, it worked well for removing makeup and was a wonderful quick cleanser too. I have found it very nice and refreshing, especially in this hot weather when my face gets a bit sweaty after long walks or working out, also at night when I just want to get to bed, it's great to have a quick clean. Overall I have found this product to be quick and easy to use, great value for money, a good size and great on my skin.
In the summer I always struggle to get my skin to feel healthy, but in using the Micellar Cleansing Water for the last week, its feeling so much better. Cleaner, clearer and its great for a busy mum, not having to wash it off!!!
Garnier is a brand that I love in terms of skin and hair care. This product I found was okay ... Nothing spectacular. I felt better knowing that I had washed my make up up with something other than just warm soapy face towel. But in terms of the product I don't find that it made my skin feel super clean or anything. I found it to be very much just like water to be honest. I will however continue to use this and see how it goes and I have heard so many other people rave about it. I usually have dry ish skin so am unsure if this is a factor in me finding it not so amazing as other girls. Definitely will recommend to friends to try though as I've heard amazing things about it from other people's experiences and definitely applaud Garnier on the size of product for price ! Awesome pricing as usual.
I love this product! It feels so natural on my skin as it is so light. It is super easy to use and I can tell it will last as the bottle is huuuuge!! It is surprising how much makeup actually comes off - thank god for this new product. Thanks BR you are amaze x
Tips: Use a soft cotton pad and pour slowly...
I was a little apprehensive of using this. When it arrived, it looked like baby oil, which is just way too oily and heavy to use as a cleanser.
Rest assured it was anything but. The liquid is light and not at all oily. It cleans thoroughly without leaving any residue on the skin. It left a refreshing comfortable feeling on my skin. There was no tight dry feeling at all, neither was there a gluggy yucky film to leave on the pillow.
It takes more than the half teaspoon recommended to clean off all traces of makeup, and I found that I still needed to use a toner to finish the job. But my skin did feel great even before moisturiser. I can recommend this product highly.
Tips: Not really! Give it try - trust me.
I've never used or heard of anything like this, and if there was, it's not this affordable. Despite reading the mechanism behind it, I was surprised it didn't smell chemically at all! It was very neutral, no fragrance at all.
It took 2 cotton balls (split each in half) to remove my face make up completely and half a cotton ball to remove my waterproof mascara. I was hesitant to put this on my eyes, expecting it to sting with its chemical properties but I felt nothing at all, and most importantly it removed all of my eye make up!
Although you would need a couple of bags of cotton balls a month to remove make up alone, it is a great value and good lazy make up remover. I still had to rub skin to get the make up off, but I don't have to deal with water running down my arms when I wash my face. Would definitely buy again and recommend this to anyone for camping, sleep overs, or at work at the end of the day.
Tips: To remove mascara, hold the dampen cotton ball over your eye for a few seconds so the product will remove more easily and prevent extra tugging.
I'm one of those people who doesn't have time for lots of fussy routines, so I was really pleased to trial Micellar Cleansing Water, mostly because it can be used eye makeup as well.
Although it is called water, I was unprepared for the fact that the consistency is that of...water.. That made me sceptical, how could this water do water plain old tap water can't? Well I was pleasantly surprised. I applied the Micellar Water with a make-up remover pad. It glides over the skin effortlessly and I could visibly see by the residue on the pad that it was cleaning the make up off my skin. My skin felt refreshed after using it and I looked forward to using it each day, especially before I went to bed at night.
The product promises to be effective on eyes, if I was to be a little critical I found it wasn't very thorough at getting mascara off, but that wasn't too bad, a little rubbing got most off, so for the most part I do think the product delivered on what it promised.
Price wise, this product is RRP $12.99 and I think that represents excellent value for money. I researched Micellar Water when I was picked for the trial, as I had never heard of it, and most were alot more expensive, so I think Garnier Micellar Water's price makes it alot more accessible for the average person.
The packaging is appropriate but I have one issue with it, the cap is designed wrong. It says about 1/2 a teaspoon is all that's required, but the cap prevents the flow of the water so hardly any comes out, so you have to give it a bit of a shake and then too much comes out.. it was annoying.
I have only been using the product for a week, but so far I am happy with how it makes my skin feel, how it cleans and how I can put make-up etc on after I have used it.
I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
Tips: Be careful pouring it out or you'll use too much, which doesn't matter on your skin, but it won't last as long.
I have been using Garnier Micellar for a few days now, and I'm very impressed with the result on my skin. Normally I uses face soap to wash and clean my make up, this will leave my skin very dry and I have to apply face moisturizer straight after shower. With Garnier Micellar, I uses cotton pad as per instruction to apply to my face. It's very easy to remove my make up. I don't need to rub hard, and it cleanses my skin. I tried not to use moisturizer on day one just for an experiment, and it keeps my skin soft and moistened the whole day! So it really does what it says. Totally recommend this product!
Tips: Use one cotton pad for the whole face! Start cleaning from the forehead down to the nose, both cheeks top of mouth then chin with no double rubs, and you will only need to use one cotton pad.
