GHD's are SO AMAZING! Best investment ever! So worth the money. I have really frizzy, thick, curly hair. GHD's work so well on my hair, turning an afro into seriously straight hair. I've had it for around 5 years now and it's still running well. So good!!

I have a scarlotte ghd. LOVE it, love the cute bag it comes in, love how it leaves my hair feeling so soft after straightening! Although I haven't quite managed to figure out how to curl yet!
I thought the staighteners I had were quite good till I got my GHDs....the previous ones I had were nothing in comparison! They are so quick to heat and easy to use. I also use them on my daughter's very curly hair and they are perfect!
This straightener is so easy to use! The upgraded gold plates make it so much smoother and more effective than other brands like remmimgton etc which just don't give as good results. Although the price tag is quite high compared to these brands, shop around as salons often have trade in deals or special occasion sales on limited edition versions which are going out of stock.
Tips: Only go over each section of hair once, especially when curling. Go slowly. This will make the style hold longer and will also not damage your hair as much as going over the section fast and multiple times.
After trying several other straighteners with not a lot of success I was given a set of these and now wonder why I bothered with the others! They heat up very quickly, are easy to manoeuvre, leave a great finish and don't dry out my hair.
the gold classics are great if you want straight hair. if you want a few bends, kinks, curls, save yourself the extra money and get originals! i find the plates of this series give a really square bend which can often look like you have damaged dry stiff hair instead of bouncy curls or a textured beachy wave.
Tips: opt for originals or eclipse series if you want more than a straightener
100% I am in love with this little baby. I wanted a GHD for the longest time and my lovely hubby got one for me last Christmas and I have been in love ever since.
I have straight but frizzy hair, in that if I don't style it I look like I have had an electric shock (well I actually did get an electric shock off an old cheap straightener years ago but that's another story) Basically even when my hair is tied up in a bun (most days) I have frizzy fly-aways all over, on the top/sides/back EVERYWHERE - seriously I look like I have an aura or a hair halo around my head. My GHD has been a godsend, I use it both on dry and damp hair and get fabulous results. It takes seconds to heat up and I love that even when I am in a hurry I can quickly do the frizziest parts of my hair and it stays put until the next wash.
To use I generally straighten my hair in little sections - I tie my hair on top of my head in a bun and leave a bit out the back, straighten that and move the straightened hair to one shoulder and leave the un-straightened on the other side, that way I can ensure that I zap all of my frizz monsters and am left with shiny straight easy to manage hair.
Lets face it GHDs are expensive but in my opinion they are worth every penny - I don't know one single person who has regretted buying one and most hold on to them for years so a solid investment for your hair (and sanity!)
Tips: If you lack volume on the top of your head only start to straighten from one inch (or a couple of fingers width) from the roots of your hair - works a treat.
I have used a few different straightners over the years, GHD you can't go past. Heats instantly, glides through hair, and straight in two sweeps. I can literally straighten my hair in 4 minutes. There is no going back once you have used GHD's.
Tips: Use a protective heat spray first and a mist spray once you have straightened to catch flyaways.
Where to start!? I could not live without my ghds! They're my absolute favourtie thing ever.
I section my hair off when I straighten my hair, much better to work with. And the ghds simply just glide so smoothly across my hair leaving it look silky smooth and healthy!!
I use them for, straightening, curling and styling. If I had to choose one item I couldn't live with out it would by far be my ghds!
I've tried so many brands etc, vs saloon, Phillips, Remington you name it! But they could never ever compare to ghds.
It's well worth the investment.
Tips: ALWAYS use heat protectant!!!
I absolutely adore my GHD! I have had a couple over the years and they have never ever been a disappointment. A reliable hair straightener and curler (if you know how) that every girl should own! An expensive buy but they last forever and come with warranty.
Tips: Use some heat protectant before so there is minimal damage from the heat of the GHD.
