I was super excited to trial both this and the matching shampoo, upon receiving the product the bottle was attractive and a decent size. After shampooing I used this, I found it had a very unpleasant fragrance, not like the shampoo which smelt lovely. Applying to the ends of my hair I felt like I needed quite a large amount, even with the product on my hair it didnt feel coated or smooth as a conditioner usually feels, after rinsing it out, my hair felt awful, worse than before washing it. Once dried etc my roots felt silky and smooth but the ends most definitely did not, I gave this conditioner a go for almost two weeks but have had to stop using it as my hair feels terrible and I am having a large amount of residue left on my scalp (yes it is completely rinsed out) I'm not sure whether this is from the conditioner or the shampoo though. I really wanted to love this product but sadly I will not be using it again...

Tips: Apply sparingly to the roots and plenty on the ends
The conditioner complemented the shampoo nicely. The scent was milder but still lingered enough to be nice. After conditioning my hair it was left soft and smooth, it still had a few tangles but nothing a quick comb couldn't fix. I would purchase this product again.
Tips: Have a comb in the shower with you to run through your hair after putting in the conditioner. Makes drying/combing when out of the shower much easier!
This conditioner is thick and easy to distribute throughout the ends of my hair, but I feel I need to use more than other brands. It doesn’t have a potent or overpowering smell, but it doesn’t have a nice smell either. My hair does look shinier than previously, but it doesn’t feel stronger or fuller in any way. As with the shampoo, the price is reasonable, but just a bit too much for my liking. I am happy enough with the product to continue the bottle until it is finished, but I probably wouldn’t run out and buy it.
Tips: Try not leaving the conditioner in too long to reduce frizz.
I found this conditioner was a great match with its conditioner. My hair loved this product and I felt it really made a difference in the texture of my dry and damaged hair. Although the downside to this product is it's consistency as I found it quite thin which meant I felt I needed to use more product.
Tips: When using this conditioner I really worked it into my very dry hair.
First impressions: Has quite a strong smell and a little too strong for me. I prefer fruity scents so I wasn't "in love" with this.
I found that I needed a lot of conditioner to get good coverage, well more than I am used to.
My hair felt soft and smooth and very silky after use and was very manageable. I did notice my hair was a lot shinier than prior to use which was a big plus however with shinier my hair was also a lot more frizzy. I even tried swapping the order and applying shampoo after I had used the conditioner by found this didn't make a different in this aspect, in fact it make it worse.
I'm pretty neutral on this conditioner (and the shampoo too). The texture is quite runny and the scent is quite light. My hair feels silky and manageable, but not as vibrant as usual.
It's a fine shampoo, but not the best ever.
ELVIVE total repair 5 conditioner is a wonderful complement to the shampoo. I normally need a lot of conditioner for my hair but I found with this product I didn't need as much which is great as I normally go through 2 conditioners to 1 shampoo. (I have long hair) After using it for a while, it has improved the overall condition of my hair and made it a lot more manageable, silkier and noticeable soft. Very happy with this product and will defiantly be using it again :)
I have been using this with the matching shampoo and I love the shampoo but the conditioner not as much. The conditioner is thin and I prefer it to be thicker so I can feel it coating all my hairs. Since it is so thin I feel like I must use a lot of it to moisturise all my hair and I think it will definitely run out before the shampoo. It is hard to spread it through the hair. The smell is like the shampoo, normal shampoo/conditioner smell, it's nice. After my hair has dried with this conditioner my hair feels very soft but the curls in my hair are not so curly. Since I didn't really like this conditioner too much I tried the shampoo with a different conditioner and got worse results, so I guess even though it is thin it works! The price is reasonable and you get better results than some salon products, so I am happy with it.
Tips: Use with the matching shampoo, the shampoo is great!
I'm usually a big fan of L'Oréal as a company, most of their cosmetics and products I totally fawn over. Sadly, though, this conditioner totally fell short of my expectations!
My hair is naturally curly, long, and has been quite damaged recently due to colour treatments and straightening. So I was super excited to test out this conditioner that claimed to be able to totally solve my problems! I use conditioner daily as part of my hair care routine, and after using up the entire bottle of this product, the results were...meh.
I noticed no real change in my hair, in terms of strength, fullness, being revitalised, silky, or shiny. It pretty much stayed exactly the same! I also found that this conditioner did very little to help detangle my curls in the shower each morning - I had to use double the amount of product that I usually use just to comb through the knots. Unimpressed.
The product did smell really nice, and the packaging was eye-catching. But unfortunately that's all I can really say that I liked about this product. Bummer!
After using the shampoo, I thought this would be exactly what my hair needed to repair the damage the shampoo had done to my hair, but I was wrong. I didn't get the softness, the silkiness, or the moisture I had hoped would be absorbed back into my hair despite me having to use quite a bit of product for every use. My hair didn't even feel smooth when coating my hair in this conditioner, which I thought was a little odd as most conditioners make your hair feel silky soft when applying it. I couldn't even run my fingers through my hair, there were too many knots/matted bits all through my hair. So when it was time to brush my hair, I was expecting it to be quite a difficult task, and sure enough it was. It was rather painful, my hair was being ripped out and it was breaking, leaving me with short damaged strands of hair. It got to the point where I just had to stop brushing. It left my hair smelling lovely though but unfortunately that's the only positive thing it's done for me.
