Just like the shampoo, this product is really great for the price. My hair instantly felt smoother, full bodied & healthier.

Tips: Use with the shampoo & a conditioning treatment for best results.
I really think this conditioner worked amazingly for my hair- it made it a lot softer, shinier, and just generally nicer-to touch and look at! I definitely think it fulfilled on the promises made on that bottle and found it a lot better than similar products from other brands. Like the shampoo, the conditioner also smelled very nice. As with the shampoo, you really need to re-wash every second day or it gets greasy and dry at the tips.
Tips: I found I got the best results if I lathered the bottom (more damaged) part of my hair in it and left it in for a few minutes before rinsing it out- I found I got more long-lasting repair this way, without the upper parts of my hair getting too oily
I found that I needed to use the conditioner only every second wash. I started using it with every wash but found that I got dry scalp. I liked how the conditioner made my hair feel, soft with volume and non oily. It went on well and rinsed easily. Highly recommended.
Tips: I felt you didn't need to condition you hair at each wash. I found every second was sufficient.
Well I like the conditioner better then the shampoo. The smell isn't as strong as the shampoo and I had to use a lot more conditioner for a good coverage. I definitely felt an instant smoothness to my hair and it felt really nice whilst washing out the conditioner. But unfortunately that feeling didn't last long. As soon as my hair dried it went back to feeling dry and coarse :(. A couple of times I left in the conditioner for 3 minutes or so to see if that made a difference and no it didn't. Again I was disappointed in this product I had high expectations for this to work on my hair. I'm in the process of going from dark to blonde (my natural hair colour)and need a really good conditioner to restore my damaged dry hair. This conditioner is not it and I probably won't be using this product again.
As with the shampoo the texture and smell of the conditioner is amazing. Also you don’t need much or you will need to rinse for a while. I used it together with the shampoo so the results are from both of them. The only difference I can see in my hair is that it feels silkier but not shinier, fuller or stronger. Maybe I need to use it longer to see more results. I think 3 weeks is not long enough to see big results.
L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 conditioner has a pleasant fragrance, even though it is quite strong it was nice to use. The bottle was better designed than the shampoo as it sat on the widest end of the bottle and the writing was the right way up. I had trouble dispensing the correct amount each time and wasted a lot of conditioner in the first week because too much came out at once. This was not as noticeable with the conditioner as it was with the shampoo, as it did not lather, but it still took more rinsing to get the conditioner out. My hair gets very dry and brittle through bleaching so it is important for me to use a product that is able to repair and rejuvenate to reduce the effect from harsh chemicals. I found that the conditioner made a difference to my hair after shampooing and made it feel silky and soft but only when I ran my hands through it. Overall, for the price and feel of my hair I would recommend it to others, and the fragrance is really nice.
Tips: For both the shampoo and conditioner it is easier to control the amount that is dispensed by giving it a gentle squeeze as a lot comes out at once if you squeeze it normally.
I was quite excited to try this conditioner as I am somebody who just buys whatever is cheapest at the time, so i was really looking forward to see if this was a conditioner I really liked. I am generally one who washes my hair one to two times a week, so using a conditioner that softens and repairs my hair is a must. l really liked this conditioner it didn't really seem to have much of a smell, the same as the shampoo, which for some people would be perfect but I prefer if is perfumed. l found this conditioner certainly softened my hair, It helped stop my split ends from feeling like straw and I would happily repurchase.
Tips: Only condition the mid and lengths of your hairso stop it from becoming oily sooner.
Thank you for the chance to trial the product. I really like this product from the packaging the retail price to the results. My hair is feeling so much better after being damaged by lighting my hair and straightening I think I have found my new go to product
Tips: Use with shampoo and hair mask
I found the conditioner quite thin compared with other brands. On first application I found a small improvement. My next shower I decided to rinse it through twice and it made a lot more of a difference although did not do what it completely said. My hair still felt fragile after a few uses. It's not something I would purchase.
Okay so for reference this review really works for both the shampoo and conditioner as a regime as I used them together. The product I'll mostly be comparing it to is the redken extreme shampoo and conditioner which is what I normally use.
First off let me just say that it does what it says it does, my hair felt silky and soft after use. Now, I'm not sure it quite repairs as much as I would like as it doesn't seem to have the protein amount of the redken extreme range (and fair enough, protein is expensive!) but hair was soft and silky so there's a win right away.
Secondly, the price point is great! I have long thick hair and I'd expect these bottles to last about a month (250ml each) and at about $9 it's exceptional value for money.
The consistency is nice and thick so you can apply the conditioner and not worry so much about it sliding off or disappearing into the abyss of your hair.
The smell is fantastic, not cloyingly sweet or overly chemically just a nice salon shampoo smell.
After trialling the shampoo and conditioner I've found my hair has maintained it's condition from my redken use which is encouraging as I'd love to switch to something a bit more affordable or atleast to have as a backup when travelling for work and not wanting to take the big spa size bottles.
All in all I think for maintaining hair that has been previously treated with protein treatments to build up hair condition after serious damage the total repair range would be a great candidate. Perhaps not strong enough to revive hair from multiple bleachings but certainly from heat damage or for hair that is naturally brittle.
If there's one thing I didn't quite like it was the generic squeeze type bottle, I love the ease of a pump bottle in the shower so that took a bit of getting used to but that's just a personal preference.
I didn't notice any odd build up as a result of using the total repair range and my hair continued to feel nice and light if hair clarity is a big concern of yours.
Tips: If you're like me and prefer a pump bottle go to payless plastics or storage box and get a pump bottle to pop the product in.
If you're wanting to repair severely damaged hair go to a hair dresser and find an appropriate protein treatment then follow up and maintain with the total care range for happy hair!
