I love the colours of these lipsticks however no matter how much I exfoliate I barely get through a day of wearing these without my bottom lip flaking. I don't have this problem with other lipstick brands. I won't buy these lipsticks but I will still continue to get them through the MAC recycling program. Won't say no to free stuff!

I have this in candy yum yum (fluorescent pink) and it is such an awesome colour.
The lipstick has really good staying power and lasts on your lips for hours!
It is nice and smooth and easy to apply, however it makes my lips look dry and flaky when they actually are not. I guess this is because it is a matte shade.
Mac have lipsticks that come in a variety of finishes, from matte, amplified creme to cremesheen and frosts. I love the pigmentation of the lippys and the amazing staying power (especially the matte finish). They have a gorgeous vanilla scent and there is so much product it will take you awhile to get through one lipstick! Definitely worth the money! My favourite colours are, saint germain, candy yum yum, morange and ruby woo!
Tips: Using a lip liner really helps with staying power!
very creamy and moisturising. MAC have an amazing colour range and the colours stay on for ages. They also smell AMAZING
The colours are so fun and fresh and the application is flawless. I have so many of them it makes it so hard to decide which ones to wear! They are long lasting and for some reason I never get lipstick on my teeth when wearing MAC. They are worth the price too which makes it easier to splurge on a lipstick.
Tips: They layer with each other so nicely. A great example is a bright pink colour with angel on top to make the look more subtle but still look amazing.
I bought this lipstick ages ago for a retro-themed outfit and have loved it ever since. I feel VERY grown-up in it (I'm in my 30s, so I should!) and I always get compliments when I wear it. It's matte, so stays for ages and doesn't seem to bleed out around the lip either. It's like a little confidence booster in a tube.
Tips: Apply a couple of layers, blotting in between.
I love Mac lipsticks - most finishes have great staying power, and there is a RIDICULOUS amount of colors. Smell delicious (like cupcakes) and LE packaging is always amazing(:
Look into ordering testers for colors (online) before you spend the full amount on a lipstick, if you can't get into a store.
Tips: Lip primer will help keep your lips from drying out, especially with matte colors.
I currently have MAC lipsticks in Russian Red (so far, my favorite), Candy Yum Yum and Tangerine Dream. I love MAC's staying power, I don't have to retouch often and it stays even after eating/drinking. Russian Red is very classic. Candy Yum Yum screams attention. But, Tangerine Dream is a big flop - at least on me. It made me look pale and "made-up". And, the color doesn't seem to stick to my lips. Tangerine Dream was a total loss of money.
Tips: MAC lipsticks can be really drying so I usually put on some petroleum jelly during the night so when I wake up in the morning, my lips are smooth, moisturized and primed for some MAC beauty ^_^.
I have a wide range of Mac lipsticks and I absolutely love all of them. I use them on my clients, the pigments and range of colours are great, the vanilla smell they all have is really yummy too. I would recommend using a lip liner to help stop it from bleeding and to last longer. Russian Red is a personal favorite of mine to use on myself, makes blue eyes pop!
Tips: Can be used as a blush as well :)
I love the range of colours available in MAC lipsticks and they go on nice and smooth with good pigment. I find them to be very drying on my lips. I exfoliate, moisturise and drink plenty of water but MAC lipsticks still leave my lips dry when others don't. I also find that others last much longer and don't come off so easily when I eat. I think they are alright for the price but if another brand had the same colour then I would buy that instead even if it cost me $5 more.
Tips: MAC lipsticks are very creamy and shiftable so it pays to use a lipliner on most shades to keep the outline in shape
