NIVEA Stress Protect Deodorant Aerosol Review

I work in a high stress, active occupation where I am in close physical contact with people all the time. I need a deodorant that is not going to wear off halfway through my shift! On the other hand I have quite sensitive skin. For several years now whenever I have tried a new deodorant I have ended up with a red, itchy rash in my armpits. Not nice at all. So I was a bit nervous to try this, but also keen to try a product so sure of it's effectiveness that it boasted 48 hours protection. I received a spray sample to try, which was a new experience for me. I have always used a roll-on. The thought of a cold burst of spray in the morning has never appealed. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, the aerosol was neither cold nor wet and the spray was easy to direct, I didn't end up with an unintended faceful! I will have to reserve judgement on whether the aerosol mechanism will keep working till the bottom of the can, in my experience one often has a broken dispenser well before the product has run out, whereas a roller ball is foolproof. There is a light fresh scent which puts me in mind of cucumber or freshly laundered cotton. I can wear this with a fragrance and not feel that it is competing and yet it is pleasant on its own. Protection from wetness and odour certainly lasts the day, but by the next morning I can surely notice it has worn off - definitely not 48 hours effectiveness! But best of all - no rash! I have even been brave and used this right after shaving, and my skin doesn't seem to mind a bit. All in all I am very impressed with this product.

This product was excellent to have during a heat wave, hot summer afternoons and stressful afternoon meetings. I work 12 hour days and usually have to re-apply deodorant after lunch, using this product I was sweat and scent free all day.

This was fantastic. I work outside in the hot sun and sweat a lot,I find myself being a bit smelly by the end of the day. This was perfect for me no smelly armpits at the end of the day. Work very well.

Here is some background about me: I work in retail management so not only am I physically on the floor merchandising, running around and multi tasking like a boss, but I am stressing the majority of the time, fighting retail fires that pop up everywhere at any time. I have mild sensitivity to some things on my skin but I have never really worried about it too much - if there is a reaction I just don't use the product type deal. I'm not usually partial to an aerosol deodorant - as I have always felt they never work as well as they should on me, so when this spray can turned up in the mail I was a little down-heartened. Never the less I gave it a go. I followed the instructions on the can to the letter so I could give an accurate and unbiased view of how the deodorant works - - Shake well before use! - Hold can 15cm from the underarm and spray. - Let it dry completely. BTW - who actually measures how far away from the arm pit before they spray?? So anyway - I sprayed the deodorant into said armpit and took a whiff. If something is supposed to cover up the apparent stronger BO that comes with being stressed then I want to make sure it has a fragrance. The fragrance is quite strong - but not overpowering. I actually liked it because it meant that I didn't have to put any perfume on for once! The can states "Skin tolerance dermatologically approved" so I assume(?) it means its ok for sensitive skin? Please don't take my word on that though - know what's right for your skin. The fragrance is quite fruity and fresh and lasted quite a while so I didn't stink up the joint! The label says 48h protection antiperspirant - I usually shower daily so I had to purposefully not shower on one day to test it out. I didn't actually notice if it worked or not, but saying that it must of as my partner didn't say anything and trust me, he would have if I had any smell other than nice ones! With this deodorant being a spray you usually need to watch out for the dreaded white marks on clothing. So as I followed the directions "Let dry completely" I didn't have any issues with this and I wear a lot of black to work each day (uniform). The can doesn't have any anti-white promises so don't expect any! The overall verdict? I will definitely keep using it! The fragrance and protection worked for me & I would recommend it to others who have stressful lives to deal with as long as they don't have a strong sensitivity to fragrances. It gives us girls one less thing to stress about in our day!.

It was a normal day....getting the kids off to school/ preschool, tyring to get myself looking respectable and getting to work without being too stressed. The mood in the office was manic- things going wrong all over the show- stress city! To top it all off, the day was stinking hot and it was only 9am- it was going to be a scorcher. I had a meeting with a new potential client that day and couldn't get the presentation I wanted to use onto my ipad so my stress levels were mounting too...Jumped in my car, raced to the office of the potential client and went inside. As I walked in the door, I was greeted by a lot of 'who are you?' faces....there was no reception area so I had to interrupt a meeting that was taking place, asking for the person I was meeting with.....who evidently wasn't there! By this point, I am feeling a little stressed. Turns out that he had gone to my office and was waiting for me there....oops! So I race back to my office and try to find a park (always a nightmare) then fly into the cafe we are finally meeting in and launch into my presentation. Did I mention that the day was exceptionally HOT?! Wow, I was actually worried that I wasn't wearing my usual Mitchum deodorant and that the Nivea Stress Protect would not be enough to protect be from being a sweaty beast...but it actually did a great job! I left the meeting feeling dry and smelling fresh. I would recommend this product and will keep using it as it works well. I especially like the fragrance- very sweet and fresh. The only downfall was the white marks but Mitchum does that too so I was not too concerned with that. Thumbs up from me :)

The NIVEA 48hour stress protect anti perspirant spray could not have come at a better time. I'm one of those people who sweat funny when stressed and I must say it stinks! Due for my first time surgery and trying to get everything prepared before not being able to do so has run me raggered. So I started spraying myself each morning then I'd put my awesomly convenient sized spray in my handbag for a fresh up spray later. I found that I didn't really need to respray myself later as it was still going on strong. Tad disappointed in the lack of fragrance though. I also liked the dry feeling whilst spraying. I don't really like the wet feeling I unusually experience after spraying myself with deodorant and rushing out the house. At least there was one thing I knew I didn't have to worry about, and that's I wouldn't be smelling like b.o on the operating table haha

I love this new product. Put it on in the morning & it actually lasted all day & night! :-) Myself and my daughter both noticed a huge difference when using this, we would both normally use roll on deodorants but have now changed to this product as we don't have to keep re-applying throughout the day, just one application of this spray and that was it, it also smells lovely :)

It didn't leave any 'stains' on our clothes and the fact that I only had to apply it once per day meant that the product last for a long time, therefore being great value for money.

I will defiantly be buying this product again and telling my family/friends about the benefits of using it :)

love this product! I had my girlfriends wedding yesterday and it was so hot!! usually I would be very sweaty but, the Nivea stress protect deodorant aerosol solved that problem! The bride and myself both wore the Nivea stress protect deodorant aerosol and it literally kept up dry through all the stress! I highly recommend it!

I received my trial size and the first thing I noticed was the smell after taking the top off. It was a pleasant smell. This arrived at the perfect time to as had a job interview the next day. Did it pass the stress test you ask ?! Hmm to be honest I don't think it is any different from the Nivea deodorant. But don't get me wrong it may work for others. But for me it just seemed the same.

Nivea products are excellent though so I will still buy this just for a change :)
