I really do adore the OPI range of polishes, it has been a long love affair. Lets start with the brush, its a bit thicker and its perfect for the 3 stroke rule to beautiful polish finish. The handle is a great shape, I find it the easiest to hold and really comfortable. The consistency of the polish,is not too thick not too thin. I've always tended to use 2 coats. I've never been disappointed. I am a true fan. Now the base and top coats not a great fan, after a while I find they become quite thick and gloopy so I use another brand of top and base coats. Love when they have the mini sets, gives you a choice of different colors for a great price.

OPI Nail Lacquer Review
Reviews
Tips: use a base coat, apply two coats of colour allowing to dry in-between and a top coat.
I love all things OPI. My friend got me started years ago when she introduced me to "I'm Not Really a Waitress" and j have been hooked ever since. Every colour undertaken sun available and love some of the celebrity ranges. At the moment I am rocking the chrome look thanks to "Push and Shove" - one of Gwen Stefani's.
Tips: Always put two coats, waiting for each to dry COMPLETELY!
For cheap OPI try candygirl.co.nz :)
I have been a bit of a nail polish fanatic for as long As I can remember and used to get so frustrated that it looked good for a couple of hours and then chip off and NOTHING looks worse than chipped nail enamel.
I haven't found an OPI polish that I haven't liked. It has a nice smooth consistency, it doesn't have a strong smell when you open the bottle. It glides on smoothly and evenly. The finish is great and I love the quirky names they have. So many colours to choose from.
Tips: Use an OPI top coat for a stunning finish. I like the Matte Top coat but that's in another review
OPI offers the best range of nail polish available - they literally have every shade imaginable! They come up with fanstastic themes relating to recent movies or celebrities, as well as unique polishes such as matte, shatter and liquid sand (which I have seen on a friend and would love to try)! While OPI polishes are relatively pricey, they have great durability and last a long time, making the purchase worthwhile!
OPI has definitely become a classic staple in any girl's nailpolish collection! Almost iconic now for their high quality, bottle design and range of colours, I've used several shades and found them to be almost perfect. The formula is great, the application is easy, and the polish lasts well without chipping. The range of colours is fantastic, and I love some of the quirky and creative names they come up with too! My only scruple would be that the darker reds tend to stain my nails, and rub off on things if I'm not wearing a top coat.
Tips: Base coats will help protect your nails from discolouration, and a top coat will help protect against chipping.
Who does'nt love OPI! I love that there's soo many shade's to choose from. It glide's on my nail effortlessly, The brush of OPI polishes i find really good, They fan out ove the nail just the way i like it! The polish itself, I find It to last a decent amount of time, Which is good considering it is on the rather expensive side for a nail polish. Definately an all time fav.
I really do adore the OPI range of polishes, it has been a long love affair. Lets start with the brush, its a bit thicker and its perfect for my nails, 3 strokes and nail covered. The handle is a great shape, I find it the easiest to hold and most comfortable in my hand. The consistency of the polish, I've never been disappointed, not too thick not too think. I've always tended to use 2 coats. It does seem to last at least 3 days, I'm a user of the local hot pools so I find my polish doesn't last as long, I am a true fan. Now the base and top coats not a great fan, after a while I find they become quite thick and gloopy so I use another well known brand for top and base coats. I also was not impressed with the shatter (I have written a review about those) There have been a few of the colors that I have thought the name doesn't match the color like "Pepes Purple Passion" its not purple but a beautiful burgandy sort of color and the Muir Muir well that was a little different (also a review on here), but overall I always head to OPI shelves 1st especially when there's a sale. Love when they have the mini sets, gives you a choice of different colors for a great price.
I've only recently started collecting OPI colours, before that I always thought why pay more? Well these are definitely worth the money, normal polishes chip within a day on me usually but I can get at least 5 days out of OPI and even then it's usually only teeny chips at the very ends. There is such a wide range of colours and I love the cute puns for names. I think I have about 10 of them and my favourite is a pink sand one.
Tips: I use a maybelline quick dry top coat to help it last just a little bit longer. Also shop around for good deals, there are heaps of online places that have sales where they go down to around $10 each which is such a great price.
OPI is one of those brands that would suit any personality and any age group. I love the diversity of the colour range, the different nail polish textures of matt and shimmers which just offers something for everybody.
No streakiness when applying, you dont needs tonnes of coats for desired pigment of colours and the nail polish is long wearing. Ticks all the boxes of the a great nail polish for me.
My Nails never look as good as they do when i have my OPI Colour nails on! No Chips No Streaks No problems. In my job i wear rubber gloves and my nails stay strong with the OPI Polish, which i can not say the same for other polishes that just peel off.
Tips: Base coat then colour and finish with top coat
