OPI is a very popular brand and I can see why, it has basically any colour you want and also is very easy to apply. I have a whole bunch of OPI and am very happy with all of the colour choices

OPI Nail Lacquer Review
Reviews
Tips: Use and top coat and base coat to ensure long lasting wear.
Other than the fact that my nails dislike OPI and chip within the first day no matter what salon or top coat i use etc, Mod About You is a fantastic colour and i use this with another of my all time favourites from another brand. (i just do a quick fix up when it starts to chip) There are a few other colours i would continue to buy just because of the colour, not the fact it is OPI. Gwen Chrome: not what i wanted it to be. Looked ugly on me. even on my toes, no smiley faces with this one, so gave it away.
I am guilty of collecting a few OPI polishes but am loving the limited edition ones. I know its a risk that I might not be able to get them again but I just love the colours. So when I saw a Chrome finish in Life Pharmacy I HAD to have it. Its a bit different as requires you to use the special base coat it comes with, and no top coat. It really looks like chrome but because of no top coat it really doesn't last more than a couple of days before it looks a bit worn. However, it specifies on the bottle that it is designed for one nights use only a couple of days is good. I recommend buffing your nails slightly to remove any obvious ridges and then apply 2 x thin coats of the base, followed by 2 x thin coats of the polish. Perfection. With all my other OPI colours I also add a top coat. I find it long lasting and quite chip-free if applied in thin coats, although can take a while to dry.
Tips: Use a quick dry top coat or spray to ensure your polish sets quickly and doesn't get smudged!
i quite like this it dries fast doesnt smudge got a good range of colours the colours can go with most outfits you put on
I brought a couple of these when they were on special - two for $20. At this price I think they were an amazing buy. There is a lot of hype about OPI so I was expecting it to last a bit longer than it did. Chipped after three days (but this is not unrealistic!!) and the remains in the bottle took about 6 months to start getting thick. Overall really good!
Tips: Store in the fridge to keep it running nice for longer.
A well known brand I must say. It can be really expensive if your purchasing from Farmers/drug stores but you can get them a lot cheaper especially from Trademe and wholesale places. The polishes seem to not last long for me, I'd say a week then it starts chipping. But despite using other brands, I will always love my OPIs just because the brand, the bottle, the brush and how it dries pretty quick.
I absolutely adore this nail polish! The liquid sand it the cutest idea from OPI EVER! I like how this is a subtle colour so I can wear it to work and not get in trouble and in addition it only requires 2 light applications for full coverage so I don’t feel like I’m wasting any. It was also really easy to remove from my fingers when I slipped up. I enjoyed how well it went with any outfit. It is defiantly a staple nail polish in my little collection.
As a massive nail art addict I have used an extensively wide range of lacquer brands. What I absolutely love the most about OPI is the colour range. They have every colour in every shade you could imagine. Their colour range is so large that I could almost guarantee your local department store doesn't even stock the true amount of colours this brand has produced. As for performance I have found OPI do tend to chip a lot faster than other brands I have used, even with a top coat. Some colours are not pigmented enough. I have left the store thinking I've grabbed a particular colour and I am having to apply 4 coats just to get it a strong defined colour, therefore leaving my nails taking unnecessarily long to dry. On the plus side I love the width and thickness of the brush making application very easy which is complemented by a beautifully smooth lacquer that distributes so evenly over the nail. Although I would purchase this product again I don't believe it is worth its price. Perhaps after a few tweaks I would be more inclined to purchase without hesitation.
Tips: To get the best performance out of your polish I absolutely recommended to PREP YOUR NAILS! Clean, cut, filed and buffed nails make all the difference and also helps to keep your nails strong.
I was given a dark blue mini as a birthday present a few years ago and would love to try some of their other shades when our budget allows. I treasure it and only use it now and then, usually on my toes so it lasts longer! Happy with the coverage and quality
OPI is a great brand, fabulous colours, cute names and fun collections. The consistency of the polishes are easy to work with and they don't have a super strong smell either. I love that they also do mini size bottles, this gives you lots of choice! I have several OPI polishes and I would recommend them, it can be a little pricey so buy it on sale or online!
Tips: Always use a ridge filling base coat , 2 coats are best, this will give you a good base for your colour. Do 2 coats of colour and finish with top coat and don't forget to seal in your free edge! :)
