Revlon ColorStay Foundation - Combination/Oily Review

This is and always be one of my favourite foundations. It has such a good selection of shades, medium coverage (buildable to full), matte finish and lasts all day it does not oxidise or cake up on my skin. Highly recommend

I bought this version as I heard/was told it didn't oxidise as badly as the other. When you using this because my skin it normal to dry I have to use quite a heavy silicone primer which is fine and the finish is nice I end up with a Demi matte finish but for a heavier coverage foundation it doesn't really do it for me.

I used this foundation for a year and a half while I was studying. It has great coverage and excellent staying power. I used it with the Revlon powder but i think it would work better with a longer lasting powder. I stopped using this foundation as it kept seperating on my nose and would makemy skin look bumpy, I tried different primers but just didn't like it as much. Would definitely recommend it to a friend on a low budget or someone with pale skin as it has great pale shades

this is my current foundation that i have been useing for the past few years. I apply it with a coundation brush and find it super easy to apply. its consistancy is perfect! Doesnt run out of the bottle and go everywhere, its just perfect. I find that the coverage is just right, you arent left with that cake face feeling (really who likes that feeling )

The coverage is amazing, covers everything! Last a decent amount of time but i would set with a powder. What let me down was that is sunk into my pores, but you could use a pore primer underneath. I get a lot of compliments when wearing this foundation. I didn't find a foundation that suited my light skin because they had a pink undertone but a yellow setting powder fixed that up. It is a really good foundation for the price :)

this is my favorite foundation! i only just discovered it but am so in love, it makes my skin look flawless just like it says but without the cakey look. so easy to apply with a brush or a sponge. doesn't feel heavy on my skin either and lasts a long time even without setting with powder.

I am in love with this foundation! It did everything i need in a foundation, great coverage which is medium-full and very build-able i did have to work quite fast as it sometimes drys fast but i didnt mind that as everything else was perfect, it stayed on forever and kept me matte which is why i really really love this product!

I love this foundation! It does exactly what it says (when applied properly). It isnt too heavy feeling and doesnt feel sticky once applied either. It lasts all day and doesnt gather in weird places like around the nose. It also blends very well. During a long day or a night out clubbing, all it needs is a quick touch up with some powder and it is like new again. Nice packaging too. I would recomment it to anyone.

When I first bought this I loved it! I thought it was the best foundation I had ever used.

It came in a glass bottle with a pump and had nice simple packaging. This was is the most expensive foundation I had ever bought and I thought it was great.

However since buying and trying other foundation this has been pushed to the back of my make up cabinet an d I barely reach for it anymore. I wear the colour buff. I personally think the colour washes me out even though it suits my skin nicely. Its also really easy to get it cakey so you have to watch how much your applying at a time it's also a mission to get off and clogs my pores so I really have to scrub it off. I only like wearing it to work because it's so humid there it stays put where others don't. This foundation is just okay for me and once I've finished my bottle I probably won't repurchase. I think there are better foundations than this. It just wasn't as great as it was hyped up to be.

I mainly love this product for the 'Tan' colour. If your looking for a great shade when you tan or have some skin colour. This shade give you that caramel/Jessica alba/ bronzed sun kissed look. Photographs really well! Stays for hours without needing touch up's and doesn't get oily. Even if you do!
