Revlon ColorStay Foundation - Combination/Oily Review

This is the foundation I use daily. Coverage is good and lasts all day. The colour range is good to so you can easily find one to match your skin tone.

It doesn't take a lot to completely cover up my acne scarring and it gives a flawless finish. I noticed that it also controls shine well and has a nice matte finish which is ideal for my oily skin. However it does set quite fast when I apply it to my skin so I have to blend it in quite fast to avoid it looking too cakey.

This is my regular everyday foundation. I love it! I have quite sensitive skin and find I don't react to this foundation. Its goes on beautifully and is easy to blend. It lasts all day with no need to reapply.

I always come back to this foundation!! Great colour match and coverage, not too heavy, doesn't go orange.

I would say my skin is combination, and in general if set with a powder this will last a working day well enough. I used this for a couple of years while studying and got many compliments, but I feel that in comparison to a higher end product it appears just a bit chalky. I would definitely recommend to a friend who is on a budget but for me I wouldn't wear it on a nice occasion.

This is a great foundation that works really well on my skin, it lasts the whole day without fading and looking like I haven't applied foundation. I brought this at the local makeup expo for a great price and would recommend to my friends

I have extremely oily skin - major oil slick that nothing can seem to control. I've tried numerous foundations and so far this has been the best one for my skin type. The coverage is fantastic! I find that you do have to work quite quickly with it as it dries quite fast and it can begin to cake if you play with it too much. I love to use my Real Techniques sponge with this, it applies it beautifully and evenly without compromising coverage. A round top kabuki also works nicely with this but I prefer the sponge. I'm in the shade Sand Beige which I find perfect for my light-medium complexion, it has just enough yellow in it. My only complaint is that I wish it had a pump!! Other than that - perfection. It lasts so well, it doesn't break up on my skin as most foundations tend to and it really does control oils - it never looks greasy but instead looks naturally dewy.

I really don't know why but foundations never seem to last the day on my face??? If this DID last, I would have given full marks. Other than that I do like this foundation. The pump is a great feature, as it ensures no wastage. I also like the consistency. It goes on great, and the colour is perfect for me. It is a tad pricey, but I do some research and shop around online and find the cheapest possible

So amazing for a night out, so long lasting! Wouldn't say it would last '24 hours' but it lasts a lot longer than any other foundations I have tried! Very full coverage so I only use it when I'm going out at night time, highly recommend!

I've had this foundation for about 3 months now, and it is by far my number one! I absoloutly love it to pieces, its is my go to full coverage foundation (i wear less coverage ones normally but for going out or special occasions I always wear this.) Like I said it has great coverage although you have to be sure to buff it in properly otherwise it can look like its just sitting on your face can create obvious foundation lines. Dont need much of it and doesnt make my skin look shiny or greasy :) a definite must have as it also lasts all night without needing any touch ups.
