I LOVE this foundation! It is pretty much the only one I will use that gives me the right colour to match my skin.
I've tried lots of other cheaper ones and nothing else quite matches my skin tone or does what I want it to.
It gives me the perfect amount of coverage and keeps a nice matte finish which is great because nobody wants to be a shiny disco ball.
Tips: At one stage they sold it at Postie for a fraction of the price. I think it was when they changed the packaging. There might still be some there if you are after a cheepie
I had high hopes for this foundation, its very easy to apply, smooth, but it leaves this powdery finish to my skin and makes it so noticeable that im wearing foundation. It doesnt budge or smudge, I dont use it only for backup, i have friends that love this foundation but its not right for me
This foundation is really good especially when used with a powder; I have been wearing it daily for the last 7 years and I haven't found anything better.
Tips: Use a blending brush when applying, this helps to stop it going blotchy then set with a powder for best finish
This was my go to foundation for years, until I decided to go for something a bit cheaper recently. I really miss colourstay and will be switching back to it for my next bottle. It gives the right amount of coverage without looking too caked on and blends perfectly into my skin
I've purchased around 8 bottles over this foundation over the last 2-3 years and will continue to do so until I find anything that can top it. It gives great coverage, has good shade selection and has staying power. It lasted me a 13 hour flight! This is one of those products I just keep going back to because it ticks all the right boxes.
Tips: Really easy to get it online for a lot cheaper than in the stores. Also use a light hand when applying, can cake up and provides good coverage with a little amount anyway.
This does exactly as it says. Ive used high end and low end foundations and this is the one i will always go back to! it stays on all day, beautiful full coverage foundation. Highly recommend this :)
Tips: I apply it with a flat top foundation brush and have to set with a powder
I have been using revlon colour stay since I started wearing make up as a teenager. I have tried others but this has always been the best. I especially like the new formulation that they have bought out. I have quite bad scarring from acne as a teenager and I find this has great coverage and it lasts all day. I feel confident wearing this foundation over other brands.
I found that this product in the first 5 mins did exactly what it said it would do. After that, it would begin to separate and become blotchy/patchy on my face. It looked really horrible. I thought it may be a primer/moisturizer/powder issue so tried it without, with one and with all etc and the results were the same. I found this so disappointing because it works so well for other people.
I love wearing this foundation to work. It stays on all day and does not look ugly or cakey. It gives full coverage and looks quite natural.
I've been using this foundation for about 9 years now! I still reach for it whenever I have a big event because the colour matches me so well, it has great coverage and my gosh does it last! Many times when I've forgotten/too lazy to take it off (naughty I know) I've woken up and my skin is still looking good!
I still have to touch up my oily zones once or twice but it still does a pretty good job at mattifying me.
