This is the first facial scrub/cleanser that I was ever introduced to when I was starting out my teenage years by my mother - it's been around forever! And there is a reason for that since its a great wash! Don't have to use much so its value for month, kind enough on skin to use everyday and leaves skin glowing, radiant and soft. Contains salicylic which is an active ingredient in fighting off acne and pimples

Tips: Don't scrub to hard into face unless you want to look like you tried to scrub your skin off.
Have been using St Ives since I was a child when my mum first brought it for me and to this day it is my one and only facial product. Love how it cleans deep and Henry exfoliates my skin without feeling like sandpaper! I have really sensitive skin and I have never reacted to St Ives! Will be my one and only for a long time yet
I love the St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub! It is my "go to" facial scrub which I have used for the past few years. After washing off the scrub, it leaves my skin and face feeling clean and refreshed which is nice! It also doesn't dry my skin up, and since my T-zone tends to get a bit oily after a long day (or when my face feels like it needs a bit of freshening), it helps to remove the groggy oily feeling off my face, which is the one thing I really like about this scrub! Another good thing about this scrub is that it smells nice.
On the other hand, the scrub can be a bit harsh (depending on how much you scrub you apply) and may hurt your skin after. Instead, I only use a little dab of the scrub so that I don't hurt my face with too much scrub. Also, I'm not too sure if they still do this, but this product used to have two types available - one for normal skin types and another more gentle one available for sensitive skin types. I have tried both the normal one and the sensitive skin one, and they are both great! I prefer the sensitive skin one more though as it is less harsh on the skin (it has gentle microbeads instead) but still leaves your face with the same fresh and clean feeling!
Tips: Don't apply too much on your face at once as it can be rough on your skin. Also, a little dab of the scrub on your lips works great as a lip exfoliator! Be careful not to use the scrub everyday though, as it will exfoliate your skin. Instead, use it once every few days or so a week.
Smelt delicious! did exactly what it said it would, it left my face feeling clean which i loved because a lot of washes either leave my skin dry or oily and this didn't. It was a little bit rough so i think fi you had quite sensitive skin, it wouldn't be a good face wash to use.. but i get a lot of black heads so the fact that i could feel it scrubbing and washing my face was awesome! I would definitely use this again.
I love this product and think it does an excellent job of clearing out my pores - my skin feels wonderfully smooth and clean afterwards. However I'm lucky enough to have skin that isn't sensitive. It's very harsh, so I'd be pretty selective about who I'd recommend it to.
Tips: Use only when needed, let your skin take a break from it, and only use if you have oily/combination skin. Drier skin types don't need something this harsh, try the gentler version instead.
I have this in my shower so thought I may as well review it. I use this product all the time! Well every second day as recommended. It is affordable and does the job. I like the smell and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Give it a go because I think it is great value for money.
Tips: For those of you after a more gentle scrub, St Ives have a scrub for sensitive skin that isn't as rough.
i love this scrub! although it is a lot grittier than other exfoliators but as long as you dont use it everyday (i would suggest 2 to 3 times a week) the results will be good especially for that price. i found that it was effective in getting rid of dead skin and little bumps and whatnot on my face and its not over drying. Im a happy customer and will continue to buy it :)
I used to use this all the time! The price is good and it definitely gets rid of all the dead skin on the face. I stopped using it as I found that it was too rough on my skin which is dry and sensitive. I would recommend it for combination skin.
Tips: You don't need to rub very hard as the exfoliation bead are a little on the rough side!
This scrub is far too harsh for your face. The walnut shells and apricot cores are rough and cause damage to your skin with the sharp uneven edges. You shouldn't exfoliate every day as it's damaging to your skin also. I would never use this again, maybe on my feet.
Tips: Ditch the apricot scrub! If you must do physical exfoliation use something with round beads, and definitely not daily. OR use the more effective chemical exfoliants
I am loving the deep clean that this product is giving me. I like how it gets rid of all the dead skin and leaves my skin feeling really soft. using this product has made it easier for me to apply my foundation as I am starting on a better canvas. I will defiantly keep using this product.
