I used it for a couple years, thinking it was doing well for my skin. Boy, was I wrong! I have used three different types of this exfoliator and have not seen any positive results, it only dried my skin out. It makes your face feel incredibly smooth when you first leave the shower, but then again, your hands feel incredibly smooth when you rub them on the pavement... It's much too harsh for anyone's face.

Tips: Use it on your body if you want, but not your face.
I did really enjoy using this product when I had it but it wasn't a product that made me re-purchase straight away. I would use it again as it is one of my favourites so far but I will still look for an alternative first. It is a good face wash it does clean your face well but not like you could see really good results even after you've used it for a while
I have used this product in the past after being given it, and i would not re-purchase for myself. It is delightful smelling and creamy, but i feel the exfoliating beads are far too rough for use on the face even with light pressure.
Ahhh St Ives Apricot.... If you had have peaked into my shower ca. early 2000s (when I wasn't in there!) there would have almost certainly been a tube of this bad boy in there. I would describe this product as "alright". There's nothing really wrong with it but it doesn't have the wow factor. It's very rough which I quite like as I'm prone to dry patches but it's definitely a once or twice a week exfoliant rather than one you can use every day.
Tips: Best used at night and followed up with a gorgeous heavy moisturiser to replace what this product takes out. You will awaken with lovely supple super smooth skin
I have been using St Ives Apricot Scrub for almost 20 years. It is definitely the best exfoliant for me - I love the coarseness/grittiness of it (actually feels like it is exfoliating) - and it isn't too harsh for my skin.
My skin is very smooth afterwards, and it great for getting rid of dry skin. I also use it if I have dead skin elsewhere on my body (arms, legs etc) or for ingrown hairs.
Great apricot smell and good value for money. Definitely recommend.
Tips: Moisturise afterwards as it can take away your skin's natural oils
My go to exfoliator. Does the job and even better, it smells great. Makes your skin look beautiful and smooth. You do not need to use much of it- a little goes a long way. Only needs to be used about 1-2 times a week as overuse can damage the skin as it is a harsh product (needs to be to be able to remove all your dead skin)!
Tips: Takes awhile to wash it all off
This product I brought from new world. It has a nice scent. It opens my pores and scrubs all the dead skin and dirt in my pores. Leaving my face and neck smooth and oil free for a little while. However after continuing with product it made my face become red. Once learning to use it only twice a week on my face it has helped with my skin.
This is a great exfoliator. It is quite thorough though so you wouldn't need to use more than once or twice a week. It can be quite harsh so don't scrub too hard. I also found this product is great for use on the backs of your hands as well to keep them super smooth.
This is a 'physical' exfoliant where you really can feel it scrubbing off the dry layers of skin. It is one I would not choose to use any more as it seems quite harsh for my face (although I love using it on my legs occasionally).
Tips: Only use very light pressure and avoid if you have sensitive skin.
I have been using st ives since puberty. And recently purchased this and I applied in the shower waiting for it to do its thing i read the back and read Warning stay out of the sun this product makes you sensitive to sun burning which = skin aging.
Tips: buy a pumice and use sukin's cleansers for all you vegans and beauty conscious ladies.
