this is the only face exfoliant I will ever use. Trust me it is amazing. Super thick and scrubby feels like you have a whole new face afterwards. Cleared my acne up, simply amazing.

Makes my face feel so clean and fresh, and definitely helps with complexion and make up removal. Plus the smell helps :) it's very grainy and doesn't taste too good so be careful around the mouth area. Works well all over body
I used to use this on a regular bases but found that my skin would always be breaking out. I ended up going to a dermatologist and found out that the apricot shell pieces that are in this were breaking my skin, causing it to re-heal but with dirt etc. under it and so the break outs started. Just way too harsh for my skin. I would not recommend to anyone. Or at least I would say not to use it extremely often.
I used this for over 2 weeks, it dried out my skin, and I really didnt benefit from it. I have dry/sensitive skin so this didnt really help. i used this atleast everyday and irritated my skin, so I had stopped and used only twice a day.
Tips: If you do use this, maybe use 2 times a week to avoid your skin from drying out and use a good moisturiser to help as well.
This is defiantly not my favorite facial scrub. My skin type is oily and sensitive and I found when using this scrub it was way to abrasive for my skin and left i it stinging for a while after use. It seemed more like a body scrub than a facial scrub to me. And for someone that has oily skin this stuff somehow completely dried my skin out! Was not impressed at all.
Tips: Don't use you shouldn't be using a product that is so abrasive on your skin there is many better more gentle alternatives out there.
I personally found that this was a little to harsh for my skin for frequent use. I would use it again as a 'once in a blue moon' type of product when my skin is in seem serious need of scrubbing. It does smell good, and your skin definitely feels clean after it. But for skin slightly on the more sensitive side, I wouldn't use it as an everyday kind of scrub.
This is my can't do without product. I use it daily as my skin is very dry. I get so many comments on how nice my skin is, and I can only put it down to drinking heaps of water and using this scrub.within days of not using it I am back to dry flakey rough skin.
Tips: Use daily but dont rub too hard or else it will be way too harsh
I've actually been using this product for a few years now, religiously so, and it worked relatively well. The granules are a little large and it does make for clean and smooth feeling skin afterward - although I am unsure whether or not this actually means it is as effective as other products that use smaller granules. Regardless, I opted for St Ives because it was a lot more gentle on my skin in terms of its ingredients than most supermarket buys. Over time, I did notice it kept most blackheads away and it did actually seem to make my pores appear smaller. It has a refreshing scent and the product actually lasts quite a while before it runs out. However, I've moved on to better scrubs (one that utilizes more natural ingredients), but I would most definitely recommend St Ives Apricot Scrub as a great product in the lower price ranges!
LOVE THIS BRAND!!!!! I SWEAR BY THE APRICOT SCRUB. Works for my combination skin!! Use every day, keeps my skin soft and clear :) The packaging is great.. it lasts me about three weeks or more, as you only need a small amount. Very afforadble and easy to buy as you can get it at your local supermarket! And they are always on sale at atleast one supermarket ;)
Tips: Don't rub too hard, could strip natural oils.
This used to be my facial scrub of all time and then it started to dry my skin out. Going back a few years though, I loved the granules in this scrub which made me believe that my skin was getting cleansed and exfoliated but wasn't worth the end result. Dry skin!
