This product is my go to for exfoliating my acne prone skin as its micro scrubbing particles are great for getting sebum out of pores and preventing irritation but are not too harsh for sensitive skin. This product also has a lovely natural fragrance that isn't too overpowering and could be easily used by any member of the family. A fantastic product from a trusted brand, do check it out!

Tips: Scrubs like this are also good for preventing ingrown hairs around problem sites like bikini lines and armpits.
I have been using St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub for a few years now. This always leaves my skin soft, also leaves a glow to my face and has been wonderful in reducing the appearance of the odd blemish that I get every now in then which is why I am a big fan of this. Some say you shouldn't use this or facial scrubs in general everyday but I do because I find that it works well for my skin. I also find that moisturiser and makeup sits better on my skin after using this.
Tips: Always use a light hand when applying this and avoid the eye area. Not recommended for everyday use if you have very sensitive skin and are prone to breakouts.
I got given this product and loved it!! I love the Apricot smell. I love how when you are applying this product you can almost feel it working on your skin. It has quite a lot of exfoliation in it -so if you don't like that scratchy feeling then this is probably not for you. This product is quite thick and lasts quite awhile! It is a screw lid and would be easier if it had a flip back type lid. This product does what it says it will do! You are left with soft clean skin!!
I started using St Ives after having used average facial scrubs for a couple of years and I was so impressed! I use St Ives 3 times weekly ( I have quite oily, blackhead prone skin) and the results for me are less breakouts, better control of blackheads and my skin is softer to touch. I especially notice the difference around my nose and chin area where I breakout often. St Ives leaves my skin looking and feeling fresh. It is a thick, grainy, delicious smelling apricot scrub that you only need a small amount (pea size) to get the job done- so it last ages. The apricot smell is present yet not too overpowering. I also love that St Ives is an affordable brand generally only paying $7-9 for a bottle.
Tips: use 2-3 times weekly for best results.
This scrub is literally my holy grail of all facial scrubs. There is no other scrub i have tried that does the same thing. I use this everyday, in the morning and at night and my face feels soo smooth! I get asked what foundation I am wearing often, and the thing is, I don't have any on :) LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Tips: Use st yves moisturiser afterwards every time :)
I got this after seeing it in my sister's bathroom - and hearing that she loved it. Well, so do I! I absolutely love the fresh apricot smell.I appreciate that the beads really do exfoliate my skin (some exfoliators can be average and not work too well). It's a brilliant product and I'd be happy to use it for years to come.
I use to use the apricot scrub every day. At first it was great and made my face really soft but it was too harsh for me (slightly sensitive skin) and I would end up quite red in the face. I also found it quite drying so always used a lot of moisturiser afterwards. Would give it another go but maybe just use it once a week on a no makeup day
Tips: I would start using it every few days to see how it works for your skin
I always use this on my workout days. It leaves my face feeling fresh and clean. The simplicity of being able to use it in the shower makes my daily routine so much more simpler. I'm always getting complimented on how clear my skin is. I wouldn't use anything else.
Tips: Follow up with a great hydrating moisturizer.
This apricot scrub is great and uses tiny crunches of walnut shell as natural exfoliants in it's cleansing apricot formula. At first, I thought the exfoliants were a little harsh and scratchy on my sensitive skin, but it works as it says it will, "revealing smooth and radiant skin".
This scrub has a rich scent of apricots, and a great exfoliating formula to help remove dead, flaky skin and grime. Great to wash the day away (if you're using at night) or to refresh your skin for the day ahead. I love how St Ives is using natural exfoliants instead of the little plastic micro beads other brands often use, so you don't need to feel guilty of polluting the environment and know that while your skin is being looked after, so is your world.
My skin feels fresh and new after using this, but once out of the shower you need to remember to moisturise straight away, because it strips your skins natural oils a little too. My skin is dry though, so it's always that way. If your skin is super reactive and sensitive, I would recommend not using this too often because it could cause your skin to flare or get blotchy (the crunches of walnut shell can be a bit rough).
Tips: Moisturise straight after to keep your skins smoothness and softness locked in with moisture. :)
I'm pretty notorious for treating my skin badly. I almost never wash my face and sometimes sleep with my makeup on, only really using makeup wipes. This scrub is quite literally the only product I use because I love it so much and it makes a huge difference.
Every few days I notice my skins gets a little dry, especially around my nose, and my pores start showing (again, especially on my nose). And this is usually from daily wearing makeup and constantly being in chlorinated water. So being able to scrub my skin clear of all the dead bumps and patches is wonderful, it is pretty tough but doesn't leave your skin raw, instead my skin is left soft and fresh like baby skin.
What I love the most about this product is that recently it has come to my attention that the microbeads in some exfoliants are very dangerous and polluting. Since microbeads are tiny and buoyant they may manage to make it through water treatment and end up back in our oceans where they are mistaken for food by sea life. St. Ives face scrubs (both this and the blemish control one) have 100% natural exfoliants, the don't use microbeads and instead use crushed walnut shell. I'm not an environmentalist, but I think its important to not impact the Earth badly just because I want to wash my face.
So all in all, I love this scrub, its harsh, but not too harsh and more natural than other brands. Its also affordable and can be found at your local supermarket. I'd encourage anyone to make the change from microbeads to St Ives apricot scrub.
Tips: Moisturise after use, I don't recommend exfoliating daily.
