I bought my Beauty Blender when it first came out-the pink one. It was a bit dear but well worth every penny spent on it. Its very easy to use. I use the wider end for applying foundation all over my face and use the pointy bit for applying concealers around the eyes. I also use it lengthwise for blending cream conturing products. Everything just blends seamlessly and gives me an airbrush look.
The best thing ever and Im never going back to any other applicators. Very easy to clean. I use my regular face wash to clean it. Been doing it since I got it. It doubles in size when wet. I than wrap a towel around it and squeeze to get the excess water out. Than its ready to go. I have tried other blenders but found they absorbed most of the product and didnt give a nice finish. Nothing beats the Beauty Blender.
Recently when I was in Wellington I took the opportunity to go to the BeautyBliss store... something about being on holiday meant that I felt I could go all out on some new goodies. I have been wanting to try the Beauty Blender for ages, I don't know why as I haven't been impressed with the Real Techniques or Bossy Cosmetics dupes, but I am so glad that I have tried the real thing now! In the wee pack I received the pink beautyblender, the black one, the mini green one, and the new refresh liquid.
So I don't really know where to start with the rave review of this product. I have absolutely been adoring using this. The only thing I hate about it is that I will eventually have to purchase another one. I thought initially that moistening it in the morning would be a pain, but now I just run it under water in the morning as I'm popping the kettle on and I'm good to go. It picks up just the right amount of product and seems to apply it flawlessly, making it flawless on the skin. I love that it never leaves any streak marks like brushes can. I have been using the rounded end to pop the foundation over my face and then I use the side to sort of bop around to pick up any extra product if I have gone overboard. I have found that I haven't had the best luck with cleaning it. I don't know if I just don't have the technique down yet but I never seem to be able to get all of the product out. I do think you need to be a wee bit careful when cleaning as the first time I did it I managed to rip it a tiny bit with my nail. What makes it better than the other dupe beauty blenders is how soft it is, I have found with the others you can't get the right light application as you can't use the 'bopping' motion to apply the product softly.
I really love this product I don't think I will be be going back to brushes anytime soon as it really makes my foundation application flawless.
