The Original Beautyblender

Honestly i dont no where i would be without my beautyblender i love it so much, it blends my makeup perfectly with no patched or streaks as well as making my skin not appear "cakey" only negative is that i need to use slightly more foundation as it absorbs it being a sponge

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the Beauty Blender. It did it's job, it blended my makeup nicely and to be fair I did not have any patchy areas or look like I had cake-face. The thing is, I get the exact same result with any other sponge that I use; the BB didn't stand out to me at all in terms of function. So yes, it works well, but so does my Real Techniques sponge and my Klean Kolor sponge.

Since i got into beauty, this has been a product in the back of my mind. However, i couldn't justify the price tag, so brought cheaper alternatives such as the real techniques sponge. But finally, i pulled up the courage, and the money to purchase this and it was the best decision i ever made. This sponge comes in heaps of different colours but ofcourse i stuck with the classic hot pink one. It comes in a small little plastic container, and when i first got it, i was so surprised at how small it was. But once i added water, the sponge almost doubled in size.

The thing that makes this sponge different from the rest is the foam. It has a texture and denseness unless anything i have felt. its light and It's spongey, but you almost feel like it you squeeze it, it will hold an imprint. I love it.

One negative about this sponge (and all beauty sponges) is that fact that you need to use more foundation because the sponge does absorb a lot of the product. However, it gives beautiful results too and makes foundation look glowy and seamless, so I don't mind wasting a little bit of foundation. Plus it makes blending in concealer a dream!

If you are on the fence about getting this, i think you need to bite the bullet and get it right now. I wish i had got it a lot sooner.

Hell no is not just a sponge. I use it dry for powder and wet for foundation. I have super dry skin so I prefer not to over stimulate my skin and the beauty blender is so gentle on my face. I own two and the first one has lasted me a year so far and is still going strong.

My make-up never cakes up and whenever it does I just bring my beauty blender out to fix it. Even if its in the middle of the day.

Love this to apply any foundation, deffiantly works well as i do prefer medium to full coverage but even if i want light coverage it works for that to! Will always grab for one of my beauty blenders before anything else.

I was wary about spending this much money on a sponge and I put it off for a long time. I finally took the plunge and I'm so glad I did, it has changed the way I do my makeup completely. It gives such a nice full coverage and I find I don't waste nearly as much product. It pushes the product into your skin rather than swirling it around your face. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it for under-eye concealer - it's such a better finish than any brush I've ever used and the shape of it gets right into the corners. It's easy to use and easy to clean. LOVE IT!

When I first started out with makeup and stumbled across the Original Beautyblender, I was shocked. I couldn't justify spending $38 on a sponge, I then heard more and more people rave about it and I just had to see what the fuss was about. It arrived and i was shocked at how small it was, i then wet it and squeezed until damp. I applied my foundation with it and from that moment I will never look back. It leaves my foundation looking absolutely flawless! I have no idea how it is so much better than any other sponge I have tried but it is! I can't even remember the last time I used a brush to apply my foundation. I find when I use it damp it doesn't soak up too much product but still soaks up just enough to keep your foundation/concealer non-cakey. 10/10 Recommend.

This is the real deal! For a long and tiresome time, I was using a brush and getting uneven results, a streaky face that i was constantly having to correct with a finishing powder. But not anymore! It applies effortlessly and leaves you looking flawless, I will never return to brushes.
