This is a great product. My mum used it on my eczema prone skin as a kid now whenever I have any dry or itchy skin on the body I reach for this. As others have said it is quite oily, I find it heavy but very moisturizing. Definitely a body moisturizer my face would have a fit if I put this on it!

I use this lotion on my face and it was amazing. I tend to have very dry skin, and this moisturiser is very hydrating
Very thick slightly sticky but is only thing to fix dry damaged or if rated skin. The scent is a bit medicated. It’s a texture unlike a standard lotion but the results are worth looking past that easily to find in stores
Tips: It’s very thick so takes a while to soak in
Great product for sensitive skin, however Not the best if looking for something to aid eczema. Great for babies and the smell is divine.
I purchased this product after having one of my nursing tutors said what a great product it was and that it is now the most used product in elderly care homes. This moisturiser is super thick and definitely provides moisture for the whole day, also a little bit goes a long way with this product. This product is great for all skin types including sensitive skin.
Tips: When getting near the end of the bottle put a teaspoon of warm water in it and shake the bottle up, it will make the last of the product easier to get out.
Yes my skin is dry and old:( and has had years of sunbathing way back when it was the thing to do and I was good at it. And I've developed over the years a bit of dermatitis as well as my skin is dry and scaly (a little) not like a snake shedding it skin or anything, toss in some age and yep moisture is needed big time.
So this was recommended by a skin specialist and three times a week I use it all over except my face. I don't like the smell of it to me it smells a we bit bitter and an old oil smell (I like my moisturiser to smell nice) I don't like the feel of it it's not greasy or sticky or anything like that but I feel a bit tacky for around fifteen minutes after applying it. It goes white and smeary on me as I rub it in, suppose it's good to see the bits I've missed.
It's wonderful helps with very dry sensitive skin, hydrates it and makes it supple. It helps when my skin is itchy. My skin is not as dry as it used to be, and it can use really lovely lotions and potions most of the time. This product will always be in my bathroom cabinet and I will use it on a regular basis. And when I have the odd flare up and my skin gets mad and sensitive I'll be back into it daily.
A bottle does last quite a while as it does spread around, not quite heavy enough for cracked skin eg heals or thickened skin with chillblanes. It's a very good moisturiser. I now know why they have it in hospitals or around the elderly it's quite soothing.
Tips: Best applied after a shower or bath when the skin is damp.
I really do like this lotion even though it can be too oily if you use to much I found with my dry skin if you do little bits at a time you don't end up using to much making your skin oily. Other than that great product ! Really did help my dry skin
Tips: Be cautious how much you use as it is quite oily :)
This lotion is very thick and I find that you need to use a lot of it on your skin. I love how this feels on my skin and I would compare the texture to a body butter. I love to use this moisturiser on my daughter as well because she has sensitive skin and gets rashes quite a bit. This really helps to prevent her skin from getting worse. I got this lotion to help with the extra dry skin I havr been getting since being pregnant. I was getting eczema like rashes on my thighs and found my smin was always dry. Since using the Alpha Keri Lotion my skin has felt smoother and my eczema has cleared up! I absolutely love how great this lotion is for my skin, but think the price is a bit steep at $16. You can grab this for $8 when Countdown has their onecard sales. Because the bottle is quite small and you need a lot of product to moisturise one area, I think that I will look for another more affordable moisturiser.
My mum originally purchased this for my daughters eczema as she (my mum) said her and her siblings used this all the time and it was and I quote "the best moisturizer ever". I'm no completely sold on this product though, only because the main reason why we purchased this was to help my daughter, but it just didn't do anything for her. It's a great moisturizer though, and we still use it on ourselves. But I'll stick to my trust aveeno for my little girls eczema
I recently had a huge skin meltdown and was recommended to use alpha keri. It was very gentle and nourishing on my skin, however it has a slight oil/petroleum smell which i am totally not a fan of. This is the only factor which turns me off repurchasing as I prefer to use more natural products on my skin
Tips: Fab for sensitive skin :)
