I love rosehip oil so when I found out I was lucky enough to trial this product I was very excited.
PACKAGING: The outer box is honestly not very exciting and my opinion a little bit granny looks (apologies to all you grannies out there). If I was to see this in a shop I personally would not go for it because of the packaging - I would pick another brand. However in saying this I love the packaging of the bottle, a clear glass bottle with a dropper nice and simple and easy access to the oil which is pretty standard of theses sorts of products.
PRODUCT: It basically does what it says it does however because I have oily skin and I'm in my early 30s I do not have fine lines so I cannot say whether it minimises fine lines.
Just before I started trialing this product I ended up with a dehydrated patch/rash above my left eye - it was quite irritable. Within 2 days of using this product it was gone and there's definitely not dry patch anymore.
The one thing I do not like or enjoy about this product is the smell. While I normally enjoy the smell of rosehip oil (I've only tried a couple of other brands) I don't like this one. I think however if I keep using it, it won't bother me too much but in the beginning it was quite strong.
This was a great product to use. I use rosehip oil every night before bed after removing my make up; and I have noticed a huge improvement in my skins texture since doing so. This product had sleek packaging and a standard dropper to get the product out.
I enjoyed the scent, it was a little less strong than other rosehip oils I have used before which I appreciated.
I cannnot be sure this specific product helps with fine lines and uneven skin tone due to the short time I have been using it; however I have had great successes with rosehip oil before so I am sure this would be no different.
I also rate the fact that this product didn’t have a lot of the extra additives some rosehip oils have, it is a great product on its own and doesn’t need all the additives.
Tips: I put a generous amount on my face and neck after removing my make up at night and it soaks in overnight.
If your skin ever looks a bit dry, add one drop to your foundation for that day and mix well before applying, it really helps if you have any stubborn dry patches.
