I have gone through a lot of eyebrow powders, pencils etc. I picked this up at the first opportunity I got as I heard it was very good. It does an awesome job, I loved using it. I'm sure there are products out there that could do a similar job, especially being in NZ it's harder to get your hands on products like these. I'd go for a cheaper one next time.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Whiz Review
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Whiz Best-selling, ultra-slim mechanical pencil for defining, outlining, and filling in brows. The pencil tip mimics the appearance of tiny hairs to naturally and easily fill in sparse areas.
Reviews
Have recently tried this brow pencil as I love their pomade and it was really nice!
A thin pencil tip so its easy to create natural brow strokes theough your brows and easier for people starting to use a brow product/wanting a more natural look.
One tip has the pencil to apply product in your brows and the other end is a spoolie brush so you can groom/brush your brow hairs into place. Personally I like more of a defined bolder brow when wearing makeup so I enjoy their pomade more but this is another great option for a more natural brow look.
Tips: Instead of drawing on the whole brow apply the product on the bottom underside of the brow (that is closest to your eyes) and then use the spoolie brush in an upwards motion to gently brush the product upwards creating a effortless, easy and natural filled in brows.
The anastasia Brow wiz pencil, no doubt you have heard about it, wether you like doing your eye brows or not, this seemed to be a product that everyone talked about or recommended. And since its release, i feel like many other companies have made similar product, but seeing as this was the first product like this, i do consider this brand to be innovative.
This eyebrow pencil comes in a range of different colours, so that even those with the lightest to the darkest eyebrows should be able to find a match. I have black hair, so black eyebrows and i chose ebony i believe for my colour, which is a great match.
The packaging of this product is so classy. It features a slim plastic circular casing which is black in color, and features the brand and words in a bronze colour. Really classy. One end of the packaging features a sturdy spoolie, and the other end feature the product. Both the spoolie end, and the product end has a lid so both ends are kept clean and secure. Another benefit of this packaging is the pencil is retractable, which means no sharpening and no wastage.
The pencil itself its really thin, and firm so you can create small subtle strokes, and control the pencil easily. Plus it blends out so naturally after using the spoolie.
As for price, i find this one of the most affordable brow products available, costing around $25 from beauty bay.com.
I really like using this pencil. I'm no pro at doing my eyebrows but this pencil makes it easy to create a good brow. Really recommend this product
I got this as part of my makeup swap it was my request bc the price here is arrrgh.
It comes in a box with gold detailed writing. The pencil itself is a retractable dual ended pencil with lids on both ends. A spooley at one end & the retractable pencil the other end. The pencil has gold embossed writing on the exterior. Contents a dual ended pencil as stated with lids a spooled to one end & a thin retractable 0encil the other end. The spooley is very nice to use not soft it's coarse & define. The pencil is very fine&thin; & very pigmented. Effects: The spooley defines the bird hairs& brushes them out adequately to be able to in with product afterward. It gets the hairs going th direction they should be going. The pencil is so so thin yet pigmented & it's soft to the skin it feels weightless & undetected however it's apparent once looking at your brows. It's good to fill in aswell as to give the brows definition & the outlines for guidance of brow fleek. It doesn't seem to be waxy however I haven't swatched it the brows don't seem to feel tacky or waxy. I like this product & would need to perfect use of it. Its my third brow pencil & what I can tell which is beneficial from ABH is the spooley, the thin pencil & the lightweight texture of the product. Yet it's pigmented colour.
Tips: Go in after use with a spooley then a pomade lastly a brow gel to set the brow fleekness
This was my holy grail brow pencil for years! I used the medium brown shade and found the shade selection really great. The pencil is creamy and so easy to use but there isn't much product in the pencil so you do use it up fairly quickly which makes it quite an expensive item and the only downfall. I have recently started using the maybelline define a brow and find this is very similar and a fraction of the cost.
Tips: use short sharp strokes and build up the colour
This is a super forgiving eyebrow pencil and wand for when you’re half asleep and attempting your makeup. My previous go-to was the Natio brow kit which I loved but it definitely gives a more powder-y look than the ABH pencil. The colour is really natural so I love it for everyday use. I have my brows microbladed and this is great for filling them in as they start to lose colour and definition. Some of my friends have managed to get a feather-y look with this pencil but I haven’t been able to, so I think I might need something that offers a tiny bit more precision, but with enough skill it’s possible! Honestly I don’t tend to use the brush that much but it’s nice to have when I want to use it. The only reason I’m giving it 4/5 for using it again is because I’ll probably try out a few cheaper products and see how they compare before repurchasing.
Super easy to use and awesome that there is a spoolie/brush attached to the other end. Convenient when you’re on the go as well which is another bonus! I’ve always had thin eyebrows so this gave my brows a little bit more volume and made them much thicker :)
Prior to using this, I wasn't a massive fan of brow pencils and was massively faithful to my ELF brow kit. I got this as a part of Sephora's Favorites Superstars kit and was a little skeptical about it just because I prefer to use a brush to fill in my brows.
The packaging on this is nice - it is a very thin wind up pencil with a spoolie at one end. It doesn't feel super sturdy but I have dropped it a few times and it hasn't broken (yet).
The pencil end is super, super fine and thin which suprised me when I first used it. However, upon using it daily - I really like this because it allows you to create a natural look as the strokes mimic hair.
I have the shade dark brown and it matches my brow colour perfectly. The pencil itself is quite hard and you need to use semi firm strokes to get the most of the pigmentation - if you use light strokes then the result is lighter. I like this because it means that I can fill in the front part of my brows without them looking super stark.
Even though I haven't used up my current brow wiz, I have already purchased this and will repurchase it again and again as it is the perfect product for me.
I am surprised to see some bad reviews, but I guess it goes to show how different we all are. I absolutely LOVED and still love this product, it gave me amazing brows with such a beautiful natural shade that everyone was wondering how I made my eyebrows so beautiful... they were unsure if I had pencilled it or I just naturally had beautiful eyebrows (of course its my best kept secret). I would definitely buy this again, because it doesn't show the very evident line like most other eyebrow pencils do, you just apply a very soft touch where you need it, and use the brush to blend it in for a natural look.
Tips: You really do not need to press hard with this pencil, the lighter the better, don't push hard! and use the brush on the other end to brush/blend it in.
I have the ABH Brow Wiz in Taupe. I think the pigmentation is fine! Perfect for a natural eyebrow on a blonde. For somebody that likes a stronger more defined brow, I would recommend using the brow wiz at the start of the brows and using something a bit stronger in the second half of the brow.
I haven't had any problems with the product breaking off either. I like the packaging as well- it's super small and easy to pack in a make-up bag.
So far I really like it and have been using it for a few months. I'm wondering how much product I have left... doesn't seem like a lot of product could fit in the packaging...
