I don't really know how I feel about this.. One thing that really annoyed me is that even with a light hand, this pencil continuously broke into pieces. I had hardly any pencil wound up and it would still happen. Grrr. I've seen a few people on YouTube comment on this but maybe ABH has changed its formula since then? I bought mine about a year ago. I did love that its a wind up pencil so now sharpening required but it just snapped so easily. I used this on days when I just wanted a bit of definition/ a natural brow. It does work well at making light feathery strokes but I just didn't fall in love with this. I would probably repurchase if I knew it won't fall to pieces on me again. Meh. I don't know. I just feel it wasn't worth the hype.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Whiz Best-selling, ultra-slim mechanical pencil for defining, outlining, and filling in brows. The pencil tip mimics the appearance of tiny hairs to naturally and easily fill in sparse areas.
Reviews
I picked this up in my sephora order. It’s been on my wish list for ages now . After reading numerous reviews I was convinced this one would be perfect for me .
Packaging is super slim line . It’s the thinnest pencil of all my eye brow pencils . Comes with retractable pencil and spoolie on the opposite end .Pencil tip is very small . I got the shade Taupe. I chose this shade because I wanted that natural look .
When I start I like to outline my whole eye brow. I slowly fill in my brows. This pencil fills my brow with ease . It lasts up to five hours begins to fade out as the day goes on . I like to conceal the outer of my brows and blend out giving me crisp lines.
Overall it’s a good eye brow pencil . Honestly you can get a Maybelline or l’oreal drug store one for the same result . I’ll always have love for the billion dollar brow pencil . The consistency of that one is better than this one and lasts longer. This one is pretty average . I wouldn’t buy this one again.
Didn’t like it that much. Dried up quickly and was hard to work with and my skin is combination to dry. I found it hard to get precise lines inside a bushy brow? I have found other eyebrow pencils better.
A very good eyebrow pencil, works perfectly and so easy to use. But also very pricey compared to rimmels eyebrow pencil that is half the price and gives the same results
Tips: great product but your more paying the brand than the product
I prefer the brow pomade personally because I like a really full “Instagram” eyebrow where as the brow whiz is good for a more natural filled eyebrow, I like to use the brow whiz on days where I’m not wearing a full face of make up and just want my brows to be filled in a little.
I have heard so many wonderful things about this brow whizz I was expecting some banging seriously strong brow game results, not what I expected in my head but still great results.
Design of this brow whizz is done with comfort in mind, the barrel of the pencil is slim enough to be able you to grip and hold it steady and comfortable so you can get the strokes just right. With a twist up pencil form of the product at one end and a bristle comb at the other, both of which have a black cap that clicks into place and stay which is awesome as some other brow pencils I have tried the cap never clicked into place and would end up falling off and becoming lost in the drawer. Formula wise this pencil isn't soft like some creamy brow liners but it also isn't rigid and stiff that it prevents you from getting that slight blur effect so the fill in isn't so obvious. I haven't used this with an specific brow setting gel but did coat with MAC Fix + and found that it stayed where I placed the product all day long, no smudging, no transferring, no thining out of product until I removed it easily with makeup remover wipes at the end of the day.
I used the colour Taupe as I have dark blonde hair naturally that I lighten so the Taupe acts as an ash blonde working well with fair skin, blue eyes and mousy blondes.
I've had this little gem of a product for a few months now and I dread the day it runs out. It's a super sleek, thin twist up pencil with the most amazing spoolie you will ever use - it's small and dense, making it perfect for ensuring product is evenly distributed when combing through the brows.
As I have sparse brows I find this product isn't ideal for doing my entire brow because it has such a fine tip it can be a rather lengthy task, plus I think it's a waste of the already minimal amount of product you get. So I go in with something like my dipbrow, fill in the majority of the brow, then define the top and bottom with this pencil. No matter what I've used to fill in the brow I will always go in with this to define as I'm yet to find anything else that's a good colour match with such a fine tip.
It lasts all day long but the reason it has lost a mark is because it doesn't deposit as much pigment as I would like. This works well for the top of the brow where you want a softer colour but the bottom of the brow needs to be darker so you have to go over the line a few times. I also don't like that you can't tell how much product you've used, so you kinda always have to have a backup for that day you inevitably, unexpectedly run out.
Tips: Even if you decide not to repurchase this product when it runs out, keeping the spoolie alone makes it worth the purchase!
I have tried many brow products but always end up going back to a pencil. I have blonde very fine brow hairs and I love how precise this pencil is at filling them in. The colours available are very true to what they state to the point where I ordered blonde and actually found it too blonde. I normally would use a blonde shade in other brands but I gave it to my pale blonde browed daughter and she loves it. It looks really natural like she’s not wearing anything. I’ve recently bought Taupe and that’s a better shade for me. It’s a fairly dry formula and not too waxy so easy to draw individual strokes on and fill in patches. This pencil stays in place all day even during sweating and doesn’t smudge however if you wipe your brows and they’re damp it will disappear. It comes with a spooley on one end which most people love but I never use as my hairs are too fine so they never work on me. The price is pretty good compared to many other brands as it will last about 4-5 months and some cheaper brands are only about $10 cheaper anyway. I will definitely keep buying this product and while I can’t recommend the darker shades because I haven’t tried them if you’re after a pale blonde or even pale brown brow product then this is the most natural coloured pencil I’ve found.
Very good quality brow pencil! I do my brows daily with Anastasia pomade and pencil, good for beginners nice and easy to use.
Tips: Don’t let it dry out !
Whilst Anastasia Beverly Hills has some wonderful products, the Brow Whiz is not one of them. I picked this up as a product to lightly fill in my brows and give a small amount of definition. I wasn't asking for a lot, but this product doesn't do a thing.
The packaging is very lightweight and plastic, and I can imagine it breaking easily. The pencil is a wind-up, which is great as this means it does not need to be sharpened. I purchased the colour taupe as this seemed the best match for my blonde hair and slightly darker brows. Feeling a little intimidated by a pencil (I was previously using a powder) I pressed lightly onto my brow and begun small strokes. There was nothing. Not a thing. I pressed harder, and harder still and the product just would not dispense onto the brow. I checked for a plastic film, and I pressed hard onto my hand. Although it is the right shade for my brows, there is a huge lack of pigmentation in this product. Even if I pressed hard to get some colour from the pencil, I would be unable to complete short, natural strokes to avoid block shading.
I was very disappointed in this product and certainly prefer the E.L.F brow kit or Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow.
Tips: The Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow is a great product to look into.
