I have relatively long, thick, blonde hair (just for reference)
As far as purple shampoo's go, this one is the same as the others and probably a more affordable price point for most people as some can be ridiculously expensive.
The colour is amaaaaazing, a nice deep almost metallicy purple and the texture is quite runny but nicely lathers and spreads once you apply it to your hair. I find it didn't really have much of a smell at the time but afterwards my hair definitely had that 'hairdresser' smell to it.
As far as noticing any difference to the colour of my hair, I can't say I did, however perhaps over time this would change.
I liked it, didn't love it, and probably wouldn't repurchase but it wasn't a bad product.
I purchased this shampoo as i wanted to see if i could brighten up my hair before i re-dyed it.
The color is out of this world. It actually looks more pigmented than a lot of dyes I've seen and used! It smells really good too, which is a nice bonus.
I've tried dried and wet applications and i think they are both as effective as each other so i stuck with the wet. Applied and left for 3 minutes while i did other things and then rinsed.
Honestly.. results weren't that wow. I used it several times a week vs the once a week as the bottle suggests as I wanted results and was getting itchy feet to bleach my hair too. Perhaps it would be better with the conditioner following but yeah, i dont think I'd repurchase.
Tips: Im going to keep using it as a purple shampoo to get my purple hair in tip top shape!
